Great location for the Airport. Everyone friendly. Nice to have the restaurant on site. Would absolutely stay again. Shuttle service was great too!
Found bed bugs and moved hotels immediately. Have a bunch of bed bug bites, staff was friendly and the rooms seemed clean.
Spent one night it has decent room , I had a yo wait for long so at the restaurant to make my order because they was no waiters available
Clean room. Comfy beds. Surprisingly good Mexican restaurant. Freezer for fish box at $10 per box.
I’ve never written a bad review for any service before, but I feel compelled to do so this time. I picked this hotel because of its close proximity to the airport and the fact that they have a restaurant. I had just a short overnight and it seemed convenient. When I arrived at the airport and called for a shuttle, there was no answer. Thinking, that it must be a mistake, I tried several more times. No answer. I ended up walking (it is a short distance and I didn’t have a ton of luggage so not a huge deal), but when I got to the lobby, there was a line and a sign that said, “be right back”. The woman who eventually surfaced just barked for my ID and credit card. I asked what time the restaurant closed and I was told 9pm. Being that it was 8:50pm and I was starving, I asked if I could leave my bag in the lobby and run to the restaurant. I barely got a response, but parked my bag anyway and hustled to the restaurant where I was greeted with an audible sigh and an eye roll. I apologized, and told the hostess I was happy to get food to go and would be happy with whatever was easiest for the kitchen- I’m really not picky. I would have been happy with chips and salsa at this point. She rudely asked if I knew what I wanted. I politely informed her that I had no idea what was on the menu, because I just arrived from out of town. She then said loudly in a disgusted voice, “that’s not helpful”. At this point I actually laughed out loud and responded that she wasn’t very helpful either and left bewildered. I actually pondered if this whole experience was some sort of candid camera bad customer service épisode. Truly bizarre. I should say that the room is fine. Typical hotel room. It appears clean. However, I definitely won’t be staying here again and will caution my co-workers against it as well.
Terrible experience at the Travelodge. Showed up and checked in, the room they gave us was nasty, messy and had not been cleaned from the last guest. Came down to the front desk and asked for a clean room, they put us in the fourth floor and it was about 90 degrees in the room. They had multiple fans going but it did nothing to cool the room down. When I spoke with the front desk they explained the entire fourth floor is like that and there is no AC for the building. In short, dirty hotel, unbearable heat and bad service. Wont stay here again.
Does NOT have air conditioning and temperature outside was high 70’s…we sweated profusely in a $250.00 a night hotel room even with an oscillating fan and window open. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and it is a great location for accessing Juneau airport but do not stay here if Juneau is experiencing warm weather!
The staff ignored us as we tried to check in for a night. The woman missing her two front teeth made excuses for not doing anything, and the bald man looked up from his phone at me several times, seemingly waiting for me to go away. Finally, like a scene out of a b-list dystopia comedy, the guy SIGHS (audiblyand sneers at me while he reserves my room. Whole scene took around 10 minutes to unfold.Got into my expensive room (yes, even for Juneauto find that the TV didnt work. Called the front desk to ask for an attendant, didnt get a straight answer and the attendant never showed.Woke up the next morning to a housekeeper who walked right in thinking the room was empty. Got a phone call from the front desk shortly there after investigating who was in my room. Apparently, I HAD BEEN RANDOMLY CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER I CHECKED IN! Thank goodness some other guests(sdidnt walk in when I wasnt decent or something.I dont expect much, and I almost never write directly negative reviews, but this stay was so abysmal, Im taking the time. The staff, the maintenance, and the basic hotel functions were all way below the satisfactory mark. I am hugely disappointed, I feel cheated out of my money (it was more expensive than your average room), and if I never stay at another Travelodge, it will be too soon.
Great staff, good in house food, consistent and timely shuttle service aswell as great fish prep and handling
No a/c so dont expect a good night sleep if its warm outside. Hotel restaurant and bar do have good food and drinks.
Conveniently located to the airport. Shuttle picked us up from the ferry without a hitch. The front desk clerk was OK. The room was very hot due to unseasonably warm weather. There was a fan in the room but it was not enough.
Friendly place but very dated! Smell of verily old carpets and if you know the mosquitoes in Juneau, they are terrible and our rooms were SO Hot with the heat off we had to keep the windows open and no screen on the window and so me and my family got bit up and their wifi is so so so slow it was like using dial up internet.
I checked in on 05/21/2022. Upon arrival the van driver Brett- Very nice man, told me that I could schedule a drop off to downtown Juneau that next morning at 7 am, be at the front desk 5 minutes before 7 am. Once I got to the front desk, Tatiana, began to tell me how no one at the hotel told me that and I was a liar. She became confrontational and yelling at me in the lobby, very argumentative and aggressive. She told me I was a liar and I will not be given a ride downtown. Upon checking out, she called herself confronting me because I expressed to other staff how distasteful she was and rude to me. She told me again I was a liar and when I told her I will be speaking to her manager, she claimed she didnt care,. Overall my experience was very negative and I will be returning to Juneau but I will not stay at this hotel again.
Do not stay here. Staff called me at 4am, woke me up, demanded to come into my room because of a leak from a room above me. When I asked for compensation, staff was extremely rude and said "It couldnt have been that bad, because WE called YOU." The floor outside my bathroom was flooded. There were also dirty towels behind the bathroom door when I checked in, stains on the sheets, and one of my friends who was also staying there was covered in bed bug bites when we left.On the plus side, the man who went into my room to look at the leak was kind and apologetic. The woman at the front desk never apologized and in general had a horrible disposition.
The staff was super awesome especially our van driver Eric! Place is located greatly near shopping and airport and banks!! There is a great bar and great restaurant here also! Reasonable price and great staff! Thanks for the great stay!!
