Travelodge by Wyndham Guymon - in Guymon, United States
No kleenexNo internetGot 2 queen vs 1 kingWater down waffle batter.Had 1 or 2 of everything out. 1 muffin, 2 oatmeal.Apparently doesnt trust anyone. Disgusting breakfast. So paid for breakfast, could not eat. Noisy.
The staff was nice and welcoming, but thats where the good experience ended. The entire place felt sticky and dirty. Looks like they havent changed anytjing since the 80s. The shower head only sprayed down, not out, and the curtain was moldy. Couch was stained and smelled like bodily fluids.Breakfast options were minimal at best and I honestly didnt even feel like eating.
Front desk personnel was not welcoming at checkin and offered no thank you upon checkout. He was short with me as of I’d interrupted his day.
Clean rooms, mostly quiet night for sleeping. Fido was welcome.
We had our yorkies with us and they put us in a clean room that didnt smell like pee we were very happy with and the people were great!!!
Manager CARES you have wonderful Stay. BEAUTIFUL ROOMS. Great customer service. WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY AND ALL ROOMS 1ST FLOOR.
A/C doesnt work and neither does the pool. Smh no way to cool off 😫🔥🔥🔥
Do you enjoy cold, apathetic and unhelpful customer service? Do cigarette butts in your hotel bed make you giddy? If so, this hotel is just the place for you.Our experience was horrible. They had our reservation wrong. We were clearly distressed after driving all day with two young children. When I expressed concern over the cigarette butts, the man at the desk (who I assume was the ownerresponded I cant control what people do in the rooms. This place is not smoke-free hotel and it is dirty. If you have a problem, you will not receive help. After trying to sort things out for about an hour (in their lobby, which was not air conditioned on a 105 degree day), another guest who overheard us offered up help. He let us know that all the hotels in Guymon seemed to be booked (apparently the place to be?). He had a reservation at the Holiday Inn he needed to cancel and we could have it. Spring for the few extra bucks it costs to stay at the Holiday Inn. Enjoy the decent customer service, the crisp clean sheets, the shower you wont be afraid to step into, and the great continental breakfast.
Everything about this place is misleading. As soon as you walk in you can smell that it used to be a smoking facility. The hallways are also extremely hot, although our room ac worked very well. The pool and hot tub were closed, our room coffee maker did not work and the "breakfast" they offered consisted of stale bread (the same stale stuff was left out every day we were there), cereal with no milk and weird waffles. You can also hear literally everything in the neighboring rooms (polka-like music at 3am). I wouldnt stay here again if they paid ME.
Will stay here again. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. The breakfast is not 5 star but for the price it is good enough. Manager tries to keep guest happy and bends over backward
This motel is older but in good condition. The manager is great and bends over backwards to service the guest. Rooms are clean and service is great. Pool and hot tub was closed during our visit or it would of been 5 stars.
Was a little disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not in service.
Nice clean room and pretty quiet, as far as hotels go. Bed was comfortable as was the sofa. I only stayed one night but if I came through that area, id stay there again.
Bed was hard as a brick. Bathroom light was missing a fixture and light bulb. we were in town for a funeral, after driving 4.5 hours to arrive. asked for early check in since the funeral was 2pm and normal check was 3pm. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was very limited.
The gentleman at the front desk was friendly, but the hallways smelled of stale smoke, and the room had a musty smell to it. The bed was mediocre. My husband said the waffle he had at the breakfast was so bad, he had to spit it out.
I have stayed at several motels throughout the mid west during the past year and the Travelodge in Guymon was by far the the nicest and the best value. It was very clean, the staff was great and the price was more than reasonable.
I am a pilot car and I stay in motels all the time the manager was very nice the rooms are clean and the breakfast was great
The room was large and in okay condition. The pool was not open even though they advertise it. The supposed "hot" breakfast was really sad and horrible, just a toast with jam. I wouldnt stay here again.
This wasnt our first time here. Clean room, bed could be better; but not enough to complain about. Coffee pot in the room is also a plus. Pet friendly indoor pool, all in all a good place to stay.
Excellent beautiful Hotel 🛍️Great Town, Guymon Oklahoma. The best Town I have ever been to. Nice Travelodge. When I return to Guymon one day, will go to Travelodge. Nice Staff.
Front desk employee wasnt inviting at all when we arrived... my husband even tried to joke around a bit to lighten the mood, but he didnt smile or attempt to talk at all..parking is limited to just one side of the building. Pool area looked like a storage space with an empty jacuzzi and workout equipment shoved in a corner. For a non smoking facility is definitely smelled like old smoke that I feel they tried to cover with some sort of incense. Hallway walls are stained. Room was simple but looked clean at first glance. Tub stained in the bottom...had less than half a roll of toilet paper. Air conditoner was a bit lacking as far as blowing air and there was a cigarette burn on our blanket and sheets. Scoped out the ice machine but it looked dirty and moldy like it hasnt been properly cleaned in a long time. Check out was easy we just handed our room key and left... didnt try the breakfast. We just needed a place to crash for a few hours so we dealt with whatever we didnt like... but that place is definitely run down.
Nice owners, but a very dilapidated, antiquated, unhygienic establishment with mold even found in common areas like in the ice machine. I would only recommend this hotel for cheap contractors or drug addicts, because its not family friendly. Also, false advertising: there is no hot tub, fitness center, alarm clock, bottom sheets, clean sheets, bathtub/rug towels, or rooms stocked with shampoo and Kleenex... You know, normal American hotel amenities and those the hotel actually lists on websites, but doesnt offer. 😏
The Travelodge by Wyndham in Guymon is now, by far my ultimate FAVORITE motel to stay any time I stay in Guymon! The staff was extremely friendly and eagar to accommodate the motel guests. The room was clean with two extremely comfortable queen size beds that included 4 plush pillows on each. It was also equipped with a couch and coffee table, mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, full length mirrored closet with clothes hangers and office desk with chair.Complimentary breakfast included choices of sausage links and/or patties, bacon, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, toast, eggs, fresh fruit, granola, nuts, yogurt/fruit/granola cups larger than the ones at McDonalds.
I wish I didnt have to give a star. At first the manager Charlie seems real nice but I assure you he is a crook. There is no pool even though they advertise one my boyfriend tried to help him fix the pool heater and was told we would get a discount instead he told me we owed 220 dollars and then turned around and told my boyfriend I lied and we owed a 120. The free breakfast was cold coffee with no creamer. Stale cereal with spoiled milk and stale bread. If you stay in Guymon I assure you, you would rather stay anywhere than here. We stayed 2 weeks and it was pretty much horrible the whole time.
If I could leave zero stars I would! This place is not worth the money that you have to spend. We booked online, asked for a pet fee, still had to pay extra at the desk for the dog. And they wouldn’t take credit cards. We got into our room, the couch was stained with some form of disgusting stains. There was blood on the bed sheets. We wanted to sleep on the pullout couch so we didn’t have to sleep in the soiled sheets, but the couch bed was not even made and no sheets were made available to us. There were stains on the wall and on the floor also, so much so we didn’t want our young puppy to be sleeping on the floor. The bed was also horribly uncomfortable with no mattress pad, no fitted sheets, and a very plasticy feeling. This place is disgusting and not worth it. Pay a little extra for something that’s at least clean. I did not feel safe at all throughout the night and neither did our dog who was very alert throughout the night.
