Location was good for Heathrow. The room I had smelt really bad.

The basic facilities are good. Service is okay. Bathrooms are expected to work for single occupants, hence dont have latches.

First impressions, this location is severely understaffed. Our first room smelled INTENSELY of urine and house keeping’s solution was febreeze instead of a cleaning. Our room got switched after we talked to the front desk again which is the only reason I’d consider the location worth even two stars. The lady who moved us was very kind and understanding.Tubs look permanently filthy at the bottom due to their non-slip stuff. With a pair of shower shoes it wasn’t too much of an issue

Check in was fast and easy, receptionist very polite. Didn’t sleep great, room very hot only source of airflow was the window and with that open the noise of the road and the pedestrian crossing keeps you from ever getting any sleep. No air con and a room the size of a walk in wardrobe. We spent 200 pounds to stay for 2 nights! Not value for money. Fortunately we know exactly what travel lodge breakfasts are like so opted out of that. The only positive is the distance from the station. We used to stay at the Heathrow Central travelodge for a hell of a cheaper than this one and it had everything! Parking and air con but seems they’ve sold that on to ibis now.

Thumbs up : It is a budget lodge so it is affordable. We had top floor room so was bright. Thats it2. Thumbs down : you feel cramped in the room. Cleaning is done once in a week (Seriously?? Are we living in stone age?Breakfast was same for 2 weeks. (If you want egg, Only scrambelled egg option availableHey Travelodge! Have you guys heard something called variety? And you desperately need more staff. (Hiding behind Covid and brexit will no longer work). And No Airconditioning?? (Apparently they know nothing about climate change or the heat wave that swept across UKThey gave us a table fan. DUH.3. Wow / Oh no : Evrything was like Oh no. There was mostly one waitress serving the breakfast. I almost sympathized with her. I assume she must have needed a counselling after the mad vacation period.4. Money Matters : Whole lodge was book for 2 weeks for us but since it was high season we didnt get it that cheap. Overall I stayed in 4 different hotels in UK (3 of those budget chains, see my other reviewsand I can say that UKs hotel standards were not upto the mark. Seriously, they need to upgrade. So pick this hotel only if you are on a budget or else look elsewhere.5. 5point Experience : Nope. Not going there again. Location is convenient but thats it. Great location for Hounslow Central ( 3 minute walkand Picadilly line runs very early for the airport. Very friendly staff and easy to acess the room with lifts. It is a budget hotel but no issues from my point of view. I didnt use the bar or food area on this occasion.

Rooms are very small and expected some fridge but not great room for that price.

Stayed one night because location was convenient to get to Heathrow. Hotel room is dated which would have been fine it it was clean. Bathroom smelled of urine and floor was grubby and dusty around the edges as was the same in the room. The carpet was so dirty, the room was so warm, a fan was provided but i couldnt use it as the fan blades were black with dust. We had a sheet on the bed and the duvet was in a clear bag on the floor so i wasnt even attempting to use that. I was going to inform staff as i checked out but we checked out so early nobody was around. Only plus side was we only had the room for 10 hours! Would not recommend staying here, you can get far better hotels at the same price!!

This hotel is close to Hounslow Central Station and is therefore convenient to get to Heathrow Airport, while also being close to the high street in Hounslow.However, the hotel was poor in most other aspects. It was ridiculously hot (although a fan was providedand noisy. We had one double bed and one uncomfortable pull out bed on the floor. There were only 2 plug sockets - both were a mile from the bed. Only 30 minutes free wi-fi was provided - you have to pay for longer. I have stayed at numerous budget hotels over the years and cant remember when I was last required to pay for wi-fi. Also, the sheets on my bed were stained when I arrived - see the accompanying pictures. I would only recommend this hotel if there is literally nothing else in your budget nearby.

This hotel is a nice place with nice rooms although at first we had ants in our room but they did a quick job of transferring us to a bigger and better room, the service was good with top ups of coffee and tea whenever we needed and the food was very nice. The location is very good with restaurants and cafes just a 5 minute walk from the hotel and also the London underground is just a few steps away. Overall nice hotel.

I checked in very easily. I knew how to get to my room. The hotel is very close to the Underground at Hounslow Central.I didnt enjoy the planes arriving until 23:00 but what can you do? There werent that many sirens going on throughout the night. I managed about 5 hrs sleep at this place. The room was small but was ok. I didnt buy WiFi but the phone signal was ok. The restaurant/ bar was shut when I got there. I left very early so couldnt enjoy a breakfast here. Cheap and no frills. Close to Heathrow.

We was going to see Coldplay at Wembley and the hotels closer to the stadium were either fully booked or asking to much...so I looked further afield...even though this hotel wasnt nearby it was very easy to get to abdcfrom and just 2 train journeys the piccadilly and the jubilee line to get to Wembley..the hotel is very close to the station so easy to find.....would be an ideal hotel to use of you was flying out of Heathrow too

Rooms get cleaned once in 7 days. Even if you put up the sign to Top up they miss topping up the tea coffee sachets nor do they clean the used mugs.I stayed for two weeks and everyday the breakfast was absolutely the same with no variations at all. I was in a busy season where the hotel was running to full capacity so replenishments during breakfast would take time or then would not come at all.Staff individually were very pleasant people but as an overall experience the service was not up to mark.

The room is ok but really dirty. I came in with white socks and left with grey. Carpet needs a huge clean. The shower curtain had stains on it and TV so tiny. No such thing as AC at all

Best value for money on route to Heathrow airport, have stayed before, and will stay again

No parking had to use the underground supermarket carpark and if i was a woman on my own i would have been scared to park and walk to hotel and had a dirty bathmat stuck in the bath still waiting for an e voucher as compensation ?

Excellent value, just a few stops from Heathrow terminals, £28, the night, very clean, would recommend

Found a pair of someones underpants under the mattress, disgusting. Another time I stayed I found a red stain on the mattress protector and one of the toilet rolls had a black dirty mark on it. There is a more mature lady o reception who is always friendly and professional - one positive.

We are staying here for two weeks. No one cleaned our room or changed the bed sheets or cleaned the toilets. Pathetic place really.

Could you tell me please if it is possible for a 16 year old teenager to stay in this hotel alone ( without parents or guardians ?

Avoid this place, they don’t have staff, all arrangements are messed up. They stopped cleaning the rooms, it’s already hot like oven in London, they should install some air conditioning. This goes without saying in any hotel. I am no longer going to be there in travelodge in future.

Full breakfast wasnt available at the time we needed to leave and wouldnt refund us for this, offered cereal, we paid £20 for breakfast. Ants on the food counter, disabled toilet was dirty with beatles crawling around the floor and walls. Location was really convenient and the room seemed clean.

I had a perfectly pleasant functional stay here for a night before an early flight. Checking in was a fast affair and the lifts serve all of the floors quickly. The room was exactly as you’d expect for the chain but it was spotlessly clean with no noise from the corridors or adjacent rooms. External noise was present but nothing major enough to disturb sleep. The bathroom is fine for a short stay and the towels soft enough despite the budget price. There’s a bar and restaurant on the ground floor but there’s plenty of other local options just a few minutes walk away too. Getting to the tube station just a few minutes walk away so the location is ideal and for my needs if offered great value. No doubt I’ll be returning here again soon.

Great location and service... Food and rooms are good... But mobile network inside the rooms was very bad!

The key card kept deactivating and would need to get it activated almost everyday I was staying there.The rooms were absolutely fine, good for the price. Maybe its just the room that I had, but there was a smell from the bathroom. It wasnt very pleasant.Keep in mind that housekeeping do not make the bed for you. All they really do is change the towels and bins and give new amenities like tea, coffee, milk, if youve ran out.Location wise it was perfect. It was only a few minutes away from shops and only a minute away from Hounslow Central, the nearest TfL service.

Got out of the lift.... Smoke smell, isnt it a non smoking hotel? Opened up the room and awful smell so had to put fan on and open window to try and clear the smell out. Couldnt get any service for my phone is it because we are directly next to the building site next door?? So no WiFi unless I pay for it which I shouldnt need to do as have unlimited access. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The first time was perfect... This time Im holding my breath.. Literally (update)Went and complained and we got moved and now we have a fresh smelling room...and can use phone again l

The only problem is, I think a drawer could be fitted under the desk for ones smalls. that wood be an excellent improvement and addition to the rooms.

Perfect location for travellers and visitors to London. Neat and clean rooms and toilet s. Lovely receptionist. Only thing I didnt like was that the room was little bit small for the price.

The room was too hot. The lady employee told me to open the window. It was very loud outside Im not exaggerating. There were lots of homeless people in the hotel -torn clothes, broken shoes I, completely stained jackets. I was very displeased with the place and the nonexistent customer service. So I decided I do not want to suffer there. So I asked for my money back as I was checking out. They wouldnt give me a refund because they said it was a non-refundable deal. I understand that if a customer changes their mind last minute and cancels reservations, they cannot get a refund. But in this case, I was a very dissatisfied customer. They are thieves. Filthy place, staff was rude (except for Dean and Walter, they were awesome), horrible experience.I found a place even cheaper than Travelodge and it was so chic and clean and the staff cared! I cannot believe I paid for a trashy place. Lesson learned.

Really handy location for Heathrow, low price for a bed, check in was very quick, however there was what appears to be pubic hair on the towel in the bathroom as I discovered when getting in late in the evening. No staff were on the desk when I left at 6am so can’t speak on their service to the matter.

Location was great, very near to the tube and only a few stops to Heathrow. Plenty of shops around. Room was very comfortable, staff were very friendly. Shower perfect, heating easy to control, bed was really comfortable and room was peaceful. Thanks, Sue, for the great check-in experience.

Nice hotel located near to the Hounslow Central Tube station. Plenty of options for food and shopping just around the corner. Staff is super friendly, Renata at the Bar and restaurant was very helpful.

I stayed at this hotel on the night of 22 December 2021. It was not my first stay at a Travelodge but will probably be the last one. The problem was that the people staying in the room next to mine decided to have a party. I went to bed relatively early that night but it was already 10pm. A time when you are supposed to be quiet to avoid disturbing other guests. Anyway, I asked the man at the reception if he could do something to remind these people to be quiet. I was shocked by his reply. He said two things to me and both unacceptable I believe:1in Hounslow it’s normal for people to be loud, so get on with it;2these people have paid so they are entitled to do what they want.To which I replied that airrespective of where the hotel is located, Travelodge should ensure a good night rest to all its guests; bI had paid for the stay as well and had a right to a relaxing stay.The only solution offered was to move me to a room to the opposite side of the corridor. Since it was the only option made available to me I had to accept. But it was a great inconvenience as I had already unpacked and was in bed.I think it was a disgraceful thing to do to a guest who just wanted to do what you are supposed to do in a hotel (sleep and restand urge the management of the hotel to ensure they employ more sensible and professional staff. This receptionist and his attitude are shamefully inappropriate for the role.

It was a wondering experience staying in here.All the members of the staff has been very helpful, whenever anything was needed be it 8 in the morning or 1 in the night.Special kudos to the reception team, hotel manager Dean and also the housekeeping lady for keeping the hotel up and running marvelously.Keep Up The Good Work!!Cheers

I stayed here on the night of January 20, 2022, and while the experience was mostly positive, Im not sure Id return unless one major issue is addressed.The hotel is located incredibly conveniently near Hounslow Central tube station, just a block away. This makes it easy to connect to Heathrow airport (just ten minutes awayor central London, but do be aware that depending on where youre going, it could take 45-60 minutes to get to many of Londons famous attractions.Rooms are reasonably sized by European standards, but American travelers may find them a bit small. The bed is on the stiffer side. Tea and coffee are included, but many other things such as WiFi and breakfast come with extra charges.Now for the issue: the window. My room had a horrible draft, and even with the radiator at its maximum setting, I woke up shivering in the morning. I was kept up by sounds of traffic and even conversation outside my window, and this isnt exactly a busy area. Its as if the window doesnt close fully. Additionally, there was a brief power surge to my room when I was trying to go to sleep, and I had to find an employee after hours to turn my plug sockets back on, which was a major inconvenience for both of us, Im sure.This hotel could be a fantastic budget option for travelers, but needs to address the above issues before it can reach its full potential.

Good place to stay. Centrally located closer to Hounslow high street. Good place to order food and deliver. But, rooms are dark and windows space is small. We cannot know of it is dark or morning sitting inside the rooms.Otherwise, nice unlimited breakfast.

The worst hotel by far!! The room smelled like someone had died!!! The bedding seemed dirty and the carpet seemed so dirty that I had to wear shoes.They are overpriced for the service I received. I stayed for two nights and will not be coming back every again! The noise in the corridor with loud disrespectful people all night.Travel lodge in Hounslow have gone down the drain. I would urge anyone planning to stay in such a vile accommodation to think twice. I honestly pray that I have no catched any bedbugs from their duty rooms.

An unexpectedly good hotel, very well placed, very close to Hounslow Central tube. Plenty of shopping, eating and drinking. A short tube ride to Heathrow. A bigger than expected room, nicely arranged and with good basic amenities. Missed 5 stars because it has no car park, but the Treaty Centre with around 650 spaces is five minutes walk away straight down the road

Firstly, for budget travel in the UK, always go with Travelodge - theyre dependable and reliable in a way lots of hotels at this price point arent.Particularly like this location. Close to airport for 20 minute travel in and out, and the staff have been great every time I visit. Really friendly, go the extra mile for you :)

This hotel is undergoing refurbishment, which was only stated after we had made our non-refundable booking.The reception desk was unstaffed, and the two security guards circulating the area just kept looking at us and shrugging. It took nearly ten minutes for staff to appear.The window looked out into a light-well, which aside from the scaffolding from the building work, was filled with trash people had thrown out of their upper floor windows.We were awoken by the noise of building work early in the morning.This is an awful hotel. There are plenty of other hotels close by - stay somewhere else instead!

My time at the trace lodge was one of the best experiences I’ve had! The staff were so professional and helpful I was being assisted with my luggage and a young lady by the name of Ashley ( I think her name was Ashley I had been out drinking so I can’t remember for definite but she had very long brunette hair was so beautiful)She was so attentive to me making sure I had everything I needed and was going to be okay throughout the night reassuring me that if I needed anything she’d be at the ready for whatever it was, I looked for her the next morning as I checked out but obviously she had finished her shift but I couldn’t go without saying something her work ethic is amazing more staff like the young lady I was blessed with!!

Filthy. Vomit blocking sink!! Broken shower. Dirt and grime on bath mat, round bath and shower curtain. Evenrually moved to another room after they lied and said they didnt have one. 2nd room Filthy. It had an animal stench, bathroom just as dirty. Fans grimy and full of thick black dust. Towels dirty. Refused to stay and after reception apologised saying they would refund me their customer service now are refusing. Absolutely vile reception service, health hazard hotel, diabolical customer service. DO NOT BOOK!!! AVOID. FILTHY.

The workmen start work from 8 am and are noisy so dont come here if you want a lie in in the mornings. I got bitten multiple times by a mosquito which I could clearly hear in my room at night. The card key did not work most of the time, and this wasnt just for me but other guests as well. Apart from that it is handy for Hounslow Central station and is close to a gym and Asda. Reception staff are friendly.

Very bad, sheets are dirty and smelly, I told them to change it but was still smelly. My asthma became worst because of these dirty sheets.Room not cleaned properly, overpriced. The room is very noisy, you can hear all the sounds of the doors and will wake up every time someone opens any door in the building.The only reason people putting good rates and reviews is because the employees asks the customer to do so. The employees are polite, I visited last year in 2020.Please dont be fooled by the photos the room is small in reality. Also, room service is bad.
