Off the A2 road and backed by fields, this laid-back hotel is 4 miles from scenic views and hiking trails at Shorne Wood Country Park and 20 miles from 16th-century Tilbury Fort. The airy, warmly decorated rooms come with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, as well as tea and coffeemaking facilities, and air-conditioning.Parking is complimentary and breakfast is available.
Very clean . Room lovely and staff helpful.
Its a travel lodge, theyre all the sane tbh
Good location, next to Toby Carvery, close to Morrisons and Lidl. Room clean, air conditioning etc. Parking free
Booked a room, rang the hotel and ask to reserve the quite room. She booked it and allocated room number. Got in for check in and they gave that room to someone else!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely pathetic service. Put me off big time fro. Travelodge. Avoid
New Travelodge, clean hotel, polite and helpful staff, good location just off the motorway with a Toby carvery outside it. Few pubs nearby and is perfect for work or as a pit stop
Polite and friendly staff at check in.. decent & clean room with the usual tea & coffee etc.. really handy for access to motorway for onward journey the next day and a reasonable price too..
Average facilities, poor desk services, AC wont work or trip down regularly, wont recommend
Rooms ok, just can get a bit noisy.
Great experience every time we stay here staff are always friendly and helpful. The room dropped a star as its in need of a bit of TLC the carpet and walls need freshening up and thats to be expected over time other than that great as always.
This hotel has the dirtiest floors I’ve ever seen- not dusty, I’m sure the cleaners had vacuumed, but ground in dirt, possibly mud.Our heating/cooling system was really noisy, making it a choice between leaving it on and being unable to sleep, or turning it off and being unable to sleep. Not our best experience with this chain of hotels, but the location and price were acceptable.
Served its purpose, much better than my previous experience in Mansfield
Stopped here while working in the area, booked a room for 3 adults and there was just one double bed. Had to set up single beds myself and there was no bed sheets or duvets. Very unhappy with the service, after an exhausting day the last thing I wanted was to run around the hotel and look for somebody to give me a duvet and some sheets.
I thought I booked for 2 nights instead of one, so when I came back the next evening and my key card did not work I was told that Id been checked out, when I asked about all the stuff left in my room I was rudely told by one of the ladies on reception that if my clothes looked scruffy they had probably been thrown away, I had left cash in my room along with passport, clothes and lots of toiletries none of which was available for me at reception. Rude women on reception not at all helpful and the contact number doesnt work so how am I supposed to get my passport back, also why when all my stuff was in the room was I not called to ask if I wanted to book another night, why assume Id left all the stuff behind including passport and cash and didnt intend to stay past check out time, also they told me they had rooms for me to book that night but I had to do it over the website when I tried none were available, they said they could not book one at reception. It was evening when I arrived so I could not book another hotel and was told if I stayed on the chair in reception for to long she would call the police, this led to me having to spend all night outside freezing cold, disgusting customer service, I wonder what Travelodge policy is for the situation Ive explained is it bad policy or badly followed? Also how can a passport and cash go missing and not be handed to reception and clothes thrown away, why did nobody call me.
Your average 3 star hotel, with friendly staff.
Went to a family party last weekend and stayed here overnight on a Saturday... hotel was full with lots of people staying for a cycling event next door .... our room was clean and the staff on reception very helpful .. bed really comfy had everything we needed for an overnight stay....
Room key constantly not working, and terrible breakfast
Its was really good stay clean room and Karen was really lovely on reception and shes ready to help you anytime and i would really recommend it
One of the better Travelodges. Clean, friendly staff and good location. Has a Toby Carvery on the doorstep and supermarkets within walking distance.
Bad Customer service, booked a 1 night stay first time and just left 4 hours into check in. Women at desk gave us a dirty look when we were not sure if we were going to leave now or come back later on that night. She repeatedly asked us if we ain’t coming back we should give the card back even though we said we’re not sure and she said okay and rolled her eyes when asked why she did that she just stayed silent and continued to ignore us. If it’s a hotel we are free to come in and go out whenever we want ! Don’t come to this hotel if you want to be treated like this !! Happened 5mins ago
Stayed here because its cheap and needed a stop gap until my new property was available so needed to stay for 10nights. It is cheap and its located straight off of the motorway which is handy. Also have a Lidl right next door which is ideal for snacks. Or a Toby for hot food. But I didnt think the room was clean. There was marks all on the floor and the bathroom. I would have told reception, but the communal areas also have marks over the carpet so think the place just needs a real deep clean.
Nice stopover, has a Toby carvery in same car park, although I didnt use it. Car park was almost full, with lots of large vans!
Never again will I stay here after appalling customer service online and at the hotel. Just make sure when making a booking online you get it 100% correct. There is no room for error. No help from Gravesend LodgeStay at the Premier Inn Central Gravesend.
Rooms fairly small. Clean and neat. Lifts up to the floors. Parking free outside for approximately 40 cars Close to the M2 by a Toby. Never enough teas and coffees. Although you can ask for more at reception.
Very friendly staff and rooms are very basic enjoyed our stay will definitely be going back.
Not the best place too stay. Beds are way to small. Staff are unpleasant. Travelodge not helpful at all. Also to much money for one night
Lovely friendly staff and a comfortable room. This is a rooms only Travelodge although there is a Toby Carvery and Morrisons cafe on your doorstep for breakfasts.Dogs welcome which was great for us
Stayed here for two nights. Only comment on room, very basic. Bathroom needs updating. Room gets very stuffy even with window open. It was ok.
Stayed here for a cycling event at the Cycolpark next door, so easily accessible. I rang up the day before too to add an extra bed for my daughter, it was absolutely no hassle for the manager Ab to do that, easily arranged and no bother at all. All staff are super friendly and the continuous cleaning in these covid times was very reassuring. Rooms are neat, clean and tidy, loved the shower too. We needed more toilet roll too also no bother. Oh yeah also, wed already checked out early morning to attend the racing, jumped back in the car in the afternoon ready for our 4 hour journey home, I quickly needed the loo, also no bother for them to let me nip in and use it. Will defo be booking in here again
Decent, clean and easy to find. It’s a travelodge so it always bugs me that you have to pay for WiFi but it’s a nice cheap stay. Extra mattresses under the bed, decent TV on the wall and a good shower.Staff were friendly and helpful
Staff are fantastic, there now taking homeless people in and its become very noisy, rooms not cleaned on agreed dates, and still no free wifi, thing i would pay a few pounds extra and use the premier inn
Very good for a Travelodge. A Toby nextdoor which is handy and this is the first time Ive found a 240 volt socket with USB next to the bed which is amazing not having to run across the room to turn off the phone alarm thanks
Friendly staff. Reasonable location and good facilities. When we needed more towels, tea, coffee, etc. we were able to ask and get these easily.Check-in and check-out were both swift.
Clean room, clean bathroom - tiny bath, excellent shower.Very quiet.Bed deliciously comfortable - as it should be.No drawers or cupboards!Lots of free parking.Only breakfast boxes available. Toby Tavern a few steps away. VERY BUSY IN EVENING - BOOK ONLINE.Hotel backs on to The Cyclopark.
Always lovely staff, clean fresh beds and lovely clean bathroom, only downside is, the hand-wash and shower cream machines were both empty, I wouldve thought in these worrying times they wouldve double checked this, but a,l in all a very p.easant place to stay, and a lovely toby carvery nexr to it.
Really good cheap option. Rooms were very clean, and the staff are fantastic. I left my suit here when visiting for a wedding, and they held it for 6 months before I could pick it up again!
Stayed a week ago when visiting my parents. The staff were extremely helpful & always happy. My room was clean & comfortable. Great location. Would definitely recommend.
Very lovely hotel with a very nice room space, tv, heating and toiletries. They provide internet and breakfast for a token in addition to the fee for the hotel room. The former of which is completely optional. These staff are very polite and helpful if you run into any fix using their appliances or the internet. The hotel is about 2 to 3 mins walk to a restaurant where you can eat.
Very convenient location . Toby carvery opposite was EXCELLENTValue, and food great.Room ok only 5 coat hangers and not 1 drawer to put anything , stayed 8 nights pain living out of suitcase , staff helpful and pleasant , no hairdryer in room.
Excellent hotel with clean rooms and a pub style restaurant nearby
Same standard rooms as all Travelodge. Bathroom abit to tiny, sink and toilet to close to each other kept banging my elbow while on the toilet. Everything else is good nice service at reception. Good heating system warms up room quick
It’s a wonderful hotel. It’s located just outside of the town. It’s nice and clean. I found the staffs are helpful. We enjoyed our time
Very nice hotel. Newly built with a modern feel. Bonus to have extra power sockets and USB sockets for charging. Good location too.
Arrived to a warm and friendly welcome at 21.25 Friday. Room was immaculate. Good shower. Very comfortable bed. Air conditioning that works well. Fresh modern rooms. Very impressed.
Very clean and tidy. Staff very helpful and the air conditioning fantastic and essential. Excellent value for money.
No problems, nice hotel but no food or bar area. Staff were great and very helpful. But the location is a bit out of the way coupled with the lack of on site facilities meant taxi costs had to be incurred.
Very helpful reception staff. Rooms clean and good location.
Very basic room, but large and adequate for a nights stay. Rather cramped showering facilities and duvet covers with side openings with no fastenings - hence legs get tangled up. Polite staff. Close to main travel routes for visitors.
Very clean, new Hotel. No frills, such as no breakfast, but positioned well for main, arterial roads. Windows open (enoughwhich is a bonus.Toby carvery on the doorstep. Good parking. Kind, helpful staff. On our last evenings stay, we had noise from the bedroom occupant above ours. But the staff investigated straight away and the rest of the night was blissfully quiet. Tea/coffee facilities in room. A great place to stay. Would do so again.
Nice clean hotel stayed a week no problems friendly helpful staff toon
Staff very welcoming, informative & friendly. Rooms very quiet, comfy & clean. Also very reasonably priced!
