Trattoria terra&mare in Agrigento
Description
Privilege
Service is quite nice. The food is really not great. This restaurant is very overpriced. My carpaccio was partly frozen. Wouldnt rush backToo expensive for not great food
MoreBit disappointed with very few menu choices but otherwise nice and local place.
Amazing seafood linguine and tiramisu!
This used to be one of my favourite italian restaurants in London, but I’m afraid the management has changed post-lockdown. I ordered beef carpaccio which arrived partly frozen. Then I ordered a pasta dish (pizzoccheri al bittowhich came with boiled potatoes which was very bland and underwhelming. I have the feeling the entire team in the kitchen has changed and they’re not italians any more.
MoreWhat a great find. Lovely neighbourhood place, great food!
Lovely place, menu with a good mix of familiar and interesting ideas. All very well delivered with friendly and helpful service. Reasonably priced too.
MoreBeautiful, local, lovely spot! Fab food wine and view.
Regular haunt. Always enjoy it!UPDATE: Just been back for the first post-lockdown visit. Same owners but new operating team apparently. Still good, and theyve opened up the outside a bit more.
MoreIve been here with my wife and we had dinner and all the food was amazing and the staff very friendly. I will definitely come again here and recommend to my friends.
MoreNice local place up the hill but little knowledge about wines and overpriced for what it is. We ordered a bottle that was not worth the £27 we paid for.
MoreA nice little restaurant with pretty decoration from which I had some expectations regarding the good quality of Italian food.We had papardele and lasagna . Lasagna was like school lasgna not good at all and pasta overcooked . Definitely not good value for money , such a shame :(
MoreLovely outdoor set up and delicious food. The duck ragu was fantastic :I have already booked another dinner for next week!
MoreLow-key in a good way with a warm atmosphere. You wouldnt necessarily write home about the food though, decent as it was.
MoreWe were at first worried that the restaurant was abit empty, but all it took was the starters (bread, butter and anchoviesto completely put our worries to rest. This is an absolute gem of a place. The toast was perfectly toasted with a hint of garlic butter, my rib eye steak was cooked to medium rare perfection and the pepper sauce dip was one of a kind. But the true highlight of the restaurant was the fries. I have never had crispier fries anywhere else in london, including those fried potato sticks the British like to call "chips". If you are a fan of good fries, come here!
Moreamazing burger, one of the best ever tried. Thanks Trattoria Ill see you soon!
This was the 3rd time I had been to trattoria terra the first two times where pretty amazing however this time it was evident there had been change made in the kitchen not for the better sad i loved this place
MoreSublime, top notch Italian. Menu changes quite often but always great!
Exactly the sort of neighborhood trattoria you wished you had in your neighborhood. A small, seasonal menu of interesting regional dishes, regular specials and kids meals, low key and friendly service make this an easy recommendation. Particularly enjoyed the beef and coriander tortellini in mutton brodo. A restaurant worth supporting if you are local and one worth visiting if you are passing through the area.
MoreExcellent food. Definitely get the cheese board for dessert.
Authentically Italian. Friendly staff, great food, seasonal menus.
Great local restaurant with a perfectly formed menu, we wanted to try every dish! Above expectation quality food that seems true to the region where the experienced Italian chef and owner is from (after a chat at the pass). Great wines and service. The duck ragu and the venison with intensely cheesy tarragon polenta where highlights.
MoreFantastic Italian food. Perfect small menu with nice wine and great service. Reasonable price for quality of the food. 10/10
More1st time here last night. Very cosy place with great atmosphere and friendly staff. A small menu which must change regularly according to fresh ingredients with enough choice for everyone. 2 starters were soooooo nice ‐ a duck pasta & a superb octopus salad. The mains (picturedwere prawn pasta and tuna dishes. The starters were so good that we were expecting perfection in the mains but feel they were a little bit bland - although everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. But simple fresh cooking at its best.Highly recommended.
MoreStaff are friendly but the food is mediocre and expensive
Charming, hard working staff and delicious, authentic food served in an unpretentious setting. Good value and very enjoyable local dining.
MoreSuch a great local restaurant. It’s tucked away off the high streets but still attracts a big crowd. The food was excellent, wine was great. The service is so welcoming you feel like you’re going for dinner with your old Italian friends down the road
MoreDelicious food, friendly service, unpretentious, simple setting. The perfect local restaurant. A delight.
MoreEqually up there with the likes of Locanda Locatelli! Rustic well cooked Northern Italian food. The owner brings Bitto cheese back by the wheel from Italy need I say more. I will be back thank you.
MoreAmazing food, great service and very unique little place with beautiful dishes. A hidden gem in crouch end.
MoreGood Italian food, very nice relaxed restaurant and great prices.
Had to walk up a hill on a cold wintery night but it was so worth it! Really warm and welcoming service, a cosy vibe, and amazing food. I just couldn’t choose between pasta and steak but went for steak in the end. The dish was simple but full of flavour, and the steak was perfectly cooked. I’ll be back for some pasta!
MorePretty nice place, Carlo is an amazing waiter and sommelier. He has been really kind. Suggested place
MoreThe quaint atmosphere accompanies a sensational menu featuring fine seafood and authentic dishes such as rabbit prepared in the style of Northern Italy. The wine list is heavenly. Drink Itailian. Children love the past.
MoreHad an absolutely lovely meal for a birthday. Had a great selection of meals too. So, to conclude, a nice n cosy spot
MoreThis is my new favorite Italian restaurant in London - delicious food (and lots of itfor a great price, super friendly service, and an amazing atmosphere. The food is so genuine and homemade and satisfying - you can tell it’s made with fresh ingredients and love. This is the sort of place you go to once and know you’ll be back again and again. Already looking forward to next time...
MoreAmazing little gem between Archway and Crouch End. Food I is great and service is perfect. It is a unique place in London.
MoreOur favourite local Italian - always a warm welcome and fantastic rustic pasta
This little familiar restaurant, has a nice peaceful atmosphere, and very friendly staff. The food, was tasty and well prepared with excellent presentation. It was so tasty that I forgot to take pictures!A place to return, definitely!
MoreWonderful food, excellent service, decor focused on confort not on flashiness. To a grump like me, a place where I felt comfortable enough to want to return to is a treasure without price.
MoreWas up from Hampshire visiting 2 friends who live nearby the restaurant. None of us had been to Trattoria Terra before. We all had different lovely meals and look for forward to going again. Staff very welcoming
MoreWe had a great night. I ordered the steak which was nice but I felt it could have done with some kind of sauce for the potatoes which ended up being a little dry. Staff was really friendly, and the home made pasta was delicious.
MorePopped in for a quick bite. Really quick service and high quality tasty food.
Lovely, small, friendly place. Really nice food at a very reasonable price
our local Italian and utterly faultless in every single way. Delectable, unpretentious, big-hearted food in a cosy little restaurant served by caring and helpful staff.
MoreDelicious food and a lovely restaurant. The duck ragu was excellent and the mackerel starter was too, really good portions. Will definitely be going back.
MoreA wonderful little neighbourhood Italian restaurant. Friendly and knowledgable service from Jimmy (he really is Italian, despite the name!). Great food every time weve visited and a small but affordable choice of excellent wine compliments the well created menu. We cant recommend this little gem highly enough.
MoreOne of the best Italian restaurants in area. Highly recommend to everyone!
This is a lovely neighbourhood restaurant and bar serving a simple menu of Italian dishes and wines. Ive been twice and tried a variety of dishes and not been disappointed by any. I have to say the duck dishes are amazing. The owner goes to Smithfield Market to but the meat. We couldnt decide on our starter, so he created something just for us so we could try a bit of each. Its the kind of place that makes you feel at ease, and appreciate good quality cooking.
MoreBest restaurant for miles, including Crouch End. Food is fresh that day and wonderfully cooked and presented. Owner, also excellent cook, is genuinely friendly and hospitable and happy to advise on what to eat if you are unsure. Perfect for meat and fish lovers or even vegetarians. Unpretentious, relaxing atmosphere and good wine list, Weve taken friends there several times and all have loved it. Perfect for couples or groups. Highly recommended.
MoreGreat Italian food. Friendly and welcoming service. Nice atmosphere. Very well priced. Will be going again soon.
