Trattoría Pizzería Domus Pompei in Arrecife

Ate here on a Friday night. I had the special starter of mussels which was very nice. My wife opted for the garlic focaccia. For mains I had the pasta special which came with spinach, ricotta and salmon. It was very tasty. My wife had grilled salmon with spinach and a cream sauce. Her salmon was a generous portion and the vegetables we both agreed were delicious. They are cooked in a tempura batter! Service was good and friendly and the chef even came out to ask if we had enjoyed our meal. I would recommend this restaurant. It is just set back from the promenade ay Playa Bastian👍

Fabulous service throughout. Food was divine. Home made, freshly cooked to order and excellent quality. Nino is the owner and chef and at the end of service came out to speak with all customers.Portions are generous too.Outstanding!Highly recommended.

La comida buena pero es para ir con mucho tiempo.... 45 minutos y no ha llegado ni el primer plato.

Hay que decir que mucha higiene no tiene mientras cenaba, estaban paseando las cucarachas por el local y los dueños no tan tenido el valor de matarlas o quitarlas la asquerosidad que da , mientras comas ves cucarachas , la verdad deje la cena y pague y me fui porque prefiero no saber que hay dentro la cocina .

De vergüenza …!Estamos de vacaciones por una semana y buscábamos un sitio donde comer cerca del apartamento durante nuestra estancia .Cuando llegamos con nuestro perrito pequeño le preguntamos al camarero ( parecía el dueñoy a la camarera si podíamos sentarnos en la terraza con el . Para nuestra sorpresa recibimos un sí rotundo del señor y un no de la camarera que después regula diciendo si pueden pero en la mesa alejada del resto ( mesas QUE ESTABAN VACÍAS PORQUE NO HABÍA NADIE )todo esto señalando la mesa de malas maneras … aún así decidimos sentarnos .Al minuto , llega el camarero / dueño llámenlo como quieran a cogernos la comanda y nos pregunta si vamos solo a tomar algo o comer .Nuestra respuesta es comer .Si no nos había sorprendido la atención recibida al principio más nos asombra lo que vino después .La camarera le pregunta : van a tomar o comer?Dueño: comer pfffffffffCamarera: empieza a decir cosas en otro idioma de malas maneras .Después de todo este incidente decidimos levantarnos e irnos para no volver JAMAS .Nos sorprende que a día de hoy todavía esta atención siga existiendo , estamos para ayudarles y recibir un servicio con respeto tengamos mascota o no , ganas de una cocacola , o comer .Nada recomendable , pésimo y desagradable .Nuestra familia vuelve a hospedarse la próxima semana aquí y han perdido clientes que los hubieran visitado más de una vez .LAMENTABLE

Nada recomendable. En el pasado esta pizzería estuvo bien, pero ahora no se sabe realmente lo que es, porque la maitre te ofrece como recomendación del "ristorante" tanto paella con sangría, como fritada de carne de cerdo o gueldes fritos. Vamos, todos platos italianísimos. Y lo peor es que en esta última vez que he ido (no creo que vaya más), una pareja de alemanes fumaba tan panchamente, en su propia mesa de la terraza, a escaso medio metro del interior y sin salir fuera, con cenicero puesto por el propio local. Pareciera que en este país no existieran leyes antitabaco. Impresentable.

We have been to this lovely restaurant three times now, and will certainly be returning many more. The owner, and chef, cant do enough for you. He was happy to prepare off-menu meals for us. One of our party requested a chicken pasta dish which was delicious. I ordered canarian potatoes with mojo sauce, and he produced very tasty homemade sauces! My chicken was so big it covered most of the plate! The owner discussed the menu with us, and we also spoke to him about our holidays to Italy. It was a very entertaining evening.

Not the place it used to be. Very disappointed.

We accidentally ended up here. The fish soup was good, the shrimp cocktail was also good. Both portions small though. The experience was medium, so I‘ll give only 4 stars. I liked that the beer glasses are freezing cold.

It looks we were unlucky with the food served. To answer the owner reply: We decided to try because you are top rated rest and we love italian food. We had three dishes for take away: Bruschetta which was so hard that we couldnt bite it. Spaghetti which was very overcooked. Pizza which was unfortunately undercooked. So we must have had a bad luck but our daughter liked tomato sauce. Sorry :(

Por el gusto de la comida, muy variada. Bajo pedido, verdaderas especialidades fuera de la carta para hacer de un cena una excelente velada. Ambiente confortable, amabilidad y buen servicio. Provar y volver!

Love this place. Weve been visiting for many years. It can be a little quiet and some folks may find the walk to it a little long as its located in playa bastion outside the main resort (10 minutes)....but its worth it. The food is superb.

Great meal, food brought back memories of being in Italy. Top marks for service too.

We were warmly welcomed. Supported in our choice.. And had an excellent meal with drinks. Highly recommended

Closed - though advertised as open!I chcked opening times on Google! The owners response to my comment shows that they follow reviews on Google, but that they had not bothered to update their opening times.

Quiet compared to the place next door, but the food was delicious. Its well worth a visit even if it seems quiet. Give it a go!

Dont know we didnt go there, they were closed, went to the restaurant next door, called Casa Felix, which was excellent, very friendly, would do food off the menu if you asked, were told by friends who are staying in our apartment resort, to go for good value, good food about Casa Felix we did, they were right, the chaps who were there tonight were great, good rapour with their customers a very good evening
