Nice place to celebrate birthday

I noticed this restaurant in the map and decided to try with friends without making plan.Upon arrival, we are little embarrassed because we dressed too causal for this fancy place.Every plate we tried was deliciouse, materials were fresh. Service was very good and worthed the service fee they charged.The only disturbing thing is that some wording in the menu was Italian, had a hard time reading.Will come again to try other menu.

The food menu is big and with great options. We went as a group and all the meals were great. Ravioli, pizza, entrées (bruschettas were delicious!). Desserts were really good and tasty. 4 stars because the service is just OK, not the service you expect from a fancy place, they were very respectful but they were not constant with asking us if we wanted any other drinks. On that note, the cocktails were not great, we had the Cuban Apple and the Espoir, OK drinks for 200 TL each.

One of the best Italian Restaurant in Istanbul. Their signature dish ossobuco is delicious. Pizza is crispy. With their service level it is one of the best in town.

There are many nice Italian restaurants in Istanbul now but this one is one of the bests. Price/service deserves a five star. The meals are very delicious and its possible to go there during the day when its more peaceful but also during the night when its more trendy. You need a reservation at night. The waiters are really kind and helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

Above average atmosphere, taste and service level. Truffle buratta, melanzane, porcini risotto, beet risotto, and Fresh pasta with chestnuts. Appeziters a bit beter taste-wise compared to main dishes. The ice cream and sorbet selection was impressive. Forgot to serve my glass of tea but well I was too full to remind them!

Bad service , i was order only pizza on 9:30 and time now 10:30 and still the pizzas not come ,, note : a restaurant isnt busy !!

One of the best Italian restos in Istanbul. Definitely deserves a 5 star rating. We tried burrata, spaghetti al pomodoro and millefeuille with strawberry - all were incredibly tasty.

Nice food, nice service. Menu was a little difficult to understand but waitresses are willing to help. Definitely recommended

Very good place, service was very good too. You dont have an incredible view like Bosphorus but the garden is pretty chill and unique. Food is really good (definitely try their pizzas). Not all cocktails were great tho. Still very quality place. To give a sense of the pricing: on average a main course is 100-150 tl, cocktails were about 100, and we didnt order a starter.

The dinner was ok. The only thing is that we ordered 1 dish for three and had to pay for 3halfs when we dind’t even eat it. The dessert was the best out of all the dishes we ordered.

Nice architecture, kind personnel, the food could be better. Wine was fantastic. As the restaurant hall has high ceilings, it is a very good idea to book a reservation here if you would like to hear each other clearly and do not want to speak out loud to make yourself heard.

Great food and exceptional dessert. It just come with a certain level of arrogance that is quite common in restaurants of that level in Istanbul. It may be the language barrier, but they can definitely do a better job and drop the "classy" act.

Elegant interiors. Skilful and friendly staff. Good choice of wine and other drinks.Quality dishes. Buratta and pizzas are rare beauties. Artichoke salad is tasty. Small terrace upstairs is excellent to enjoy your espresso or grappa.

This is without a doubt my favourite Italian restaurant in Istanbul. Fabulous decor, great service, great wine selection, great stemware for the wine and great food. One of the first things I notice about a great restaurant is the willingness to say "yes, we can do that". This is one of those places. If its not on the menu, just ask for it and if it is humanly possible they will create it. I have had many lunches and dinners at La Scarpetta and never have I or my fellow diners been disappointed. Everything is good on the menu. My only small issue once and I know now is to ask for risotto in bowl as opposed to a plate as on the plate it cools too quickly.This really is a lovely restaurant with a lovely dining room in an enclosed glass area that really makes it feel like you are dining al fresco but away from the elements of weather. Great spot for a romantic dinner or business meal or a group lunch or dinner - they have a nice private dining room upstairs you can book. Ill be back often as long as I am in Istanbul. Enjoy!

Very good food and wine. Very good ambience. Italian food. Carpaccio and all the meats and pastas are delicious. A little bit expensive.
