Traspatio in Cuauhtemoc
Description
Privilege
I have been in CDMX for a month and I have come here like 8 times. I love this place, the people, the food, and the vibe. I feel like am at home sitting at the bar having a beer and mezcal chatting with people. It is a great experience. I highly recommend you to come here for a date, alone dinner, friends gather or birthday parties. The place is full of nature and full of good food and vibes. I love the Steak, Tuna Burrito, and Habanero Drink with the fermented pineapple on top, extra chile... Yasss! I want to thank the entire staff, especially, Mauricio, Eddie, Andrea y Alexis, Kim, Alejandro for always having a smile and treating with excellent customer service. 😊🙏
MoreReally enjoyed our dinner here. Very cozy decor, great service, delicious food & drinks, and good value. Items included avocado margarita, house ceviche, tuna tosdadas, and guacamole... I would order them all again.
MoreTasty food 😋 and viable wifi
The atmosphere was amazing. Staff was amazing. They welcome you so nice. I liked the music as well. Theyre a lot of plants. Food was very good. I ordered classic hamburger.
MorePoor food and customer service.
Quite simply amazing! I stumbled upon this chic bar, hidden away in Condesa, and I have to gotta say for the price, the ambience, the food, the service all of it is amazing! If you are here in Mexico City and you haven’t tried this place, head there immediately! Do yourself a favor go out there, get yourself a drink and be sure it’s alcoholic cause this place doesn’t skip out on the alcohol and that stuff hits. 10/10 would come again!
More4:30pm on a Sunday. Not busy, got a table right away. 15 minutes later after the waitresses walked past us a few times to talk to the other established tables with locals without even a glance at us, the only conclusion is: gringos not welcome.
MoreVery cool outdoor space. Tuna burrito was good. Solid craft beer selection
Best tuna steak!
Always is a great place with delicious no comercial beers, try cosaco "poderosa challenger" o red, both with great taste.
MoreWe were quite disappointed with the service. We were told to wait for 20-30 min to sit in, which turned to be almost 75 min. Once inside the food was nothing special. The place has a good vibe for drinks but would not recommend it for food.
Morevery good atmosphere, the food is average bar snacks and the drinks are nice but not great. very beautiful location.
MoreUnique atmosphere and cute spot to stop for drinks and appetizers. The inside resembles a green house, with mulch laden paths and plenty of greens around. We stopped by around 5pm on a Sunday and were easily able to grab a table. The staff are nice and not intrusive. We tried:- Bohemia Beer- Guacomole with chips and chincharron- Ceviche- Two cocktails con mezcal
MoreBIG DISAPPOINTMENT after big expectations!Having a huge interest in gastronomy, I like to review many restaurants around the world and rarely give one star, but here I feel I should give none. The place has a nice interior, but thats about it.The guacamole had fishy taste in it (likely contaminated during preparation), and tasted very bland - no hint of lime, garlic, cilantro, and no salt. The ceviche was made with tilapia: tilapia is a freshwater fish, it often has a muddy taste, and this was no exception. The lime potatoes were well cooked (similar to papas arrugadas in Canary Islands), but the taste of lime and soy sauce didnt mix well, also because the soy sauce was sweet and of extremely poor quality.Red wine I ordered was a cheap kind (such wine shouldnt be on the menu in a place like this). But the worst thing happened when the bill came. All items on the bill were about 20% higher. The manager came with a very confusing explanation that the menu we were given was old; why this was not explained to us after we sat down, he couldnt say.He didnt offer to adjust the prices to the menu from which we had ordered. Such arrogance is simply not acceptable in any place that wants to value its clients, especially during covid time. Period.Btw, I speak excellent Spanish, so nothing could have been lost in translation. The conclusion: NOT recommended, by a great margin.
MoreAmbiance, brews, 🥑 - on point!
Drinks and ambience 10/10. The burger and fries I had was not great. That’s on me for ordering that. Place couldn’t be a better vibe
MoreThe place is awesome. We waited 30min in line on a Friday but it was worth it. Good place, great prices, excellent experience! A must go.
MoreGreat service, great beer, great mezcal, great crevice and guacamole. And nice music, not loud, very welcoming.
MoreI ordered flank steak, the taste was a bit strange, but I supposed it is spices. After 8 hours I was hugging toilet and massively nauseate! Feel very very bad all day, can’t eat anything all day, huge poisoning. Think twice to eat here
MoreGreat place for a chill, low key evening. Great mezcal cocktails, good food. Great ambiance.
MoreLove their drinks and the healthy menu options! Service and staff super friendly.I highly recommend 💜I tried the Popeye salad and a hamburger steak on the side.
MoreAsk for the beers on the tap. I had an amazing local porter beer. Mezcals are good, prices are average and the place and atmosphere is charming.Do go early or make a reservation as this place has become quite popular.
MoreAmazing atmosphere and amazing drinks. Staff is always helpful. Highly recommended.Avocado mezcal cocktail is a MUST
MoreFound this place by accident walking down this street, its very cool & funky. Staff are quite friendly, awesome atmosphere!
MoreWish I had taken photos of our meal. Guac, arrachera tacos, and vegetarian meat balls were on point.
MoreI visited during the pandemic so obviously im not seeing this place in full gear. But i had a good time. The food was very good. The atmosphere and etc is great. Forgot a birthday, really had trouble keeping up with drink service. Probably needs another employee on the floor.
MoreSimply amazing! My group of friends and i were walking down the street looking to get some breakfast and stumbled upon this restaurant/bar. We came on a Sunday during brunch hours (10am-1pmand our food order included a coffee, juice, fruit and bread. Our waiter was really helpful and the juices (orange juice & lemonadewere prepared fresh right in front of us. The quality of food, drinks and environment was excellent! I love how this place was built around nature and that it’s surrounded by trees. I hope you guys have the same or even better experience than mine!
MoreGreat place with a nice feeling and interior. Service was really attentive and quick. I had a Popey salad with goat cheese and it was absolute gem! Everything is reasonably priced considering the neighborhood. Good drinks as well, I can recommend Pepper Leaf (or sth like thatwith kiwi. I will be back!
MoreWell located, great setting and ambience, service us very efficient. I had a hit pineapple cocktail that was deluvious, French fries, lemon potatoes and chocolate tartalette were really good. It can get noisy but nothing unbearable, no valet parking can be an issue since is in a crowded spit, they dont take reservations after 6pm
MoreGreat place for burgers, fair price. Staff is polite but slow, not really attentive. We called to book a table and we were told that wasn’t possible, we arrived and couldn’t seat because there was a table under reservation 🤷♀️.I recommend it but I think there’s room for improvement regarding service.
MoreI loved it! The drinks are amazing, the place is set up in a super nice way! I loved the vibe!
MoreExquisite food & amazing layout + delicious cocktails! I started with the hot pineapple cocktail - very yum. A friend got the avocado cocktail and that was also delicious. We shared ceviche and tuna tacos - both insanely good. We also shared some chips - there were a bit ehhh what do you expect... amazing place & a must go if you’re in the area!
MoreOne of my favorite spots when visiting CDMX. I love the atmosphere here. You have the main bar, some tables on the other side. Theres a mini library setting that you can chill in. This patio has a retractable roof so in nice days its open air and along with al lb. The plants, just transports you somewhere else. The drinks are on point. But pricey but worth it. If you dont know what something is, just ask! The avocado drink was my favorite.
MoreI’ve been here twice for brunch on a Sunday. The food was really good, the coffee is “café de olla” which is my favorite, and they have many options from savory to sweet. The ambiance is great too, it resembles a very cute backyard with lights and different picnic tables.I don’t give it 5 starts because the waiters might not be what you expect when it comes to efficiency. The manager was quite nice and our order came out nicely but you do have to wait a little bit. (This might only be a Sunday thing).I do recommend going here and spending a nice morning or afternoon.
MoreLovely place with a great menu. The tuna medallion was great, as was the Argentinean choripan. However, the wings are too salty in their spice bath. Everything else looked great.
MoreIndoor/outdoor feeling in this restaurant.Have a nice selection of wines, beers and cocktails. The food is really good and tasty. It is better to make a reservation, otherwise you would have to wait to be seated. Its really nice to go with friends.
MoreOutstanding atmosphere! Service is a tad slow, but the food and drinks are worth the wait. This is a great place to get a handful of drinks with friends and pick on some food.
MorePlace is cool. It’s open space if it’s not raining. Illumination and plants create very nice atmosphere. Only thing to improve is service. We had to ask twice for menu and it took long to prepare our drinks. Btw pepino drink is really tasty. Give it a shot!
MoreWent twice with young kids. Very gracious, brought toys over, excellent original cocktails, very good food. Would come here frequently if I lived here!
MoreFood was alright. Drinks were very tasty and the prices were pretty good. Super cute interior.
MoreLoved the place, the atmosphere, and the cocktails. However, the service was really mediocre. I had to give them only a 10% tip (I only do it in extreme cases). The waiters weren’t attentive, you had to ask them everything at least twice, and we had to wait more than 30 minutes to pay. Oh we then discovered that they had charged us an extra order of tostadas ($180). In addition, the bathroom was pretty disgusting by the end of the night. It didn’t even have toilet paper or paper towels. If you come, just take into account that you will have to wait a looong time for everything. Make sure you try the Hoja Santa cocktail with mezcal! The guacamole is also very good. It’s a good place for groups in terms of the space. So it’s a pity that the service is so bad.
MoreHad the arrachera burger with a michelada and it was really good. Believe me it tastes much better than it looks. Place is comfy, and has an open roof which makes it a perfect place on sunny days.
MoreNice and quiet place. Drinks are really good. I didnt taste the food but it looks really good. Its pet friendly.
MoreGood mezcals and music. It was lit on Saturday with a mellow vibe and friendly service. Good for a small group or date.
MoreFood is delicious and drinks are great!
Great cocktails. There are a few different mezscals. Nice chilled out vibe. Dress smart/casual. Interior decor is very pretty. Our drinks were served very quickly but food never arrived.
MoreI loved the relaxed atmosphere of this bar with its casual flooring and open sky tree cover. You get the best of both worlds: inside a quiet place, but still enjoying the outside.Beer selection was good and the ceviche of the house was delicious. Would definitely go back.
MoreSolid place for drinks in a semi-outdoor, not too noisy environment. Would definitely return to try the food. Really liked the hot pineapple drink.
MoreIts a great place with good beer and food, cocktails are a good choice and theres a lot of good options for making your time nice in this place, good service and a nice people attending you, they accept card payment and the place is cozy and have great decoration, clean restrooms so what are you waiting for been there???
MoreVery cute bar. Cocktails were creative and delicious. Love the outdoor theme, wish it had stayed open longer though.
