They totally lost it compared to their glorious times. Really sad. The place felt run down and not well maintained. The food very uninspired. The owner must have changed. Also no more seats in the backyard :(

Perfect place for when you wanna try a little bit of this and that, especially to share with friends. Many delicious options which are creatively different. I tried almost all of the tapas and nothing disappointed. Been going there and also ordering via Wolt many times, quality is always consistent.

Interesting Asian fusion food. Service could be a bit more friendly, but perhaps the two women servers on that day were tired.

Great place for quick Asian Tapas , and sharing different dishes with your colleagues and friends. I really like that the food is designed to share. Its pretty tasty and overall reasonably priced. There are good vegetarian and vegan options along with a lot of options for meat and seafood lovers. Very friendly service and you can pay by card.

First worst experience in asian restaurant, they forgot to give the complete menu and we just waited for the rest for almost 40 minutes with one smal bowl menu, and just say "sorry".

Our local friend brought us here and its the best thai food, I’ve ever had. The concept of tapas for thai is genius to me, sharing and sampling, uff excellent. Highly recommend.

it is a pity that i havent done any pictures of the breakfast but it was quite good and the price too for the toast with avocado and lachs. Furthermore the decoration is quite nice if you like the vintage bikes :)

Great concept, vietnamese tapas! Great place to get tasty food with a cool vibe and not so expensive. Reservation is always a good idea, there is always a long line!!

All dishes are made with sugar. Noodles overcooked. The veggies with tofu for 5€ were basically a few carrots and 1 slice of tofu.So disappointing. What a ripoff…

Their food is unforgettable. It was very tasty and I liked their menu. Just service was a bit slow, however we were there just after opening.Enjoy;)

Great idea poor execution.I love small plates, you can taste more dishes. But unfortunately the food wasnt that great in my opinion. As someone who enjoys Asian food alot I found the food really bland and unexciting. Nothing stood out as horrible but nothing was that great either.And yet I can see the appeal for some people people.Tl;dr -If you like Asian food I wouldnt recommend this place, but some people might find it to their liking.

When in Berlin, transit is a must-go restaurant if you like asian food. For almost 5 years we’ve been going there, and the quality standards have never changed. The best dishes are: chicken curry and fried shrimps with wasabi mayo.

i recommend reserving a table in advance. the food is delicious! such a good place for asian tapas, we didnt not like one dish. they also have great cocktails: especially their espresso martinis. also have great iced tea

The good was quite alright for the price and at least our server was extremely friendly and helpful. Though, first thing we noticed when we came in was that empty glasses and drinks were stacked at the bar, which is quite present in the restaurant, and the bar keeper clearly didn’t care at all about his work station. Furthermore, the floor on way from the restaurant downstairs to the toilet areas was slippery from grease and full with dirt, food rests and trash. The toilet itself smelled awful and the whole experience really made you question their standards for cleanliness and hygiene.

I could eat it all the time.We also had almost nude with pinapple inside and it was a nice refreshing combo.Personally from pork I liked Bali baby, Bacon stripes were a little to heavy for me, but with rice and sauce still tasty.Perfect place to try out many different dishes, one bowl 3,90. The only thing is that drinks are freaking expensive.

Pretty good, I think the small plate concept is fun, as you and your group can try a bunch of different dishes. Taste is not so authentic, but is satisfying - pad Thai is alright but a little pricey for what it is. Always full and buzzing. You should call ahead to reserve, you can pay with card thankfully!

Great modern Asian cuisine. You get to chose from dozens of Asian tapas dishes (4 EUR each). Many great ideas youve never get to taste elsewhere in Berlin. Reasonable prices. Drinks and interior rather basic but certainly fine. Service is extremely quick and friendly. Great for lunch or quick dinners.

Food is amazing. Tapas-style Asian dishes. Rice texture is a bit weird. Moderately pricey by Berlin standards. Service is messed up - unresponsive, forgot one of our dishes and after half an hour after we asked about it, it didn’t come so we cancelled it.

Great foods. Reasonable prices. Ordered couple of them. We were informed that only one hour is allowed (saying it felt rudeeven though palace wasn’t crowded.

Great little find! We decided to get a few of the incredibly reasonably priced "bites" and were not disappointed. We had the "my favourite duck", "cumi cumi", "seasons greens", "eves favourite" "endless love" and "crispy prawns". Every dish was tasty, however some of them were a little more room temperature when I feel they probably shouldve been hot.Really fun having lots of things to try and would highly recommend. The only snag would be that at the end the staff were a little pushy at pressuring tips which is highly uncomfortable and not how I like to end a meal. Tips are a discretionary courtesy and I think its good practice to allow people to make up their own mind about said tips and that diners will be far more inclined to leave a generous tip if theyre not being stared at and verbally pressured.

The food was tasty, the were great. But then, I went to toilet, and discovered that there is no soup. So.. How can the workers wash their hands??? Disaster.

I find the place too crowded and not comfortable also the prices are higher compare to the same type of food in a restaurant in Friedrichshain!but the staff were very nice and overall it was okay!

It used to be very tasty with good qualification. But every time I come again, it became worse than the last time. Everything was cooked like in a hurry and like the chef did not care about the taste and appearance at all. Just look at this milkshake, 2/3 of ice, I think it is ice shake. Will defiantly not coming back again.

One of the most recommended restaurants in Berlin in my opinion. And it comes to all aspects: food, location, service and price. Food is accurate and tasty. The dishes are unique and different from each other. Perfect sharing size of the small plates. There are dishes that are based on seafood, pork, beef, chicken or duck and also vegetarian dishes. The small dishes are recommended for sharing and trying several things but also the larger plates are very successful. Each small plate is 3.5 euros, a very reasonable price. Restaurant is located on the border between Mitte and Prenzlauerberg near the art galleries street Auguststrassa. For dinner you should reserve a table since the place is packed. The design is young and inviting and the atmosphere is very social and pleasant. Suitable for couples and also for larger groups. A meal for 3 persons with many dishes, beer, wine and dedert did not reach 100 euro. If you like Asian food TRANSIT is a must!

I ordered a daily special, called summer mix 8,5€. It was super delicious and the portion is huge especially with the pork. I couldn’t finish it on my own and it’s kind of salty in the end. I also recommend their crispy duck dish.Love this place. The service was awesome. Friendly staff and affordable price. Will visit again!

Very nice restaurant with friendly staff and super fast service.All dishes are delicious, a pity they removed the octopus (it was one of the best). Extremely recommended to book specially for dinner & weekends, since it tends to get quite crowded.

The restaurant is very well decorated. Staff seem nice and friendly. Food is delicious and is served in small portions so we get to taste a variety of dishes. Drinks are on point. Also, its easy to reach with public transports.Pleasing to the eyes as well as the tongue and tummy - couldnt ask for more than that.

Easily one of my favorite places to be in Berlin. Food feels like asian fusion food. Small portions for 3,5€ each. Quite noisy, but still able to hold a conversation. Place is dynamic and atmosphere is young and romantic. Staff, though busy is still friendly. Have been there around 7 times already and more to come.Order the beef!

One of the best Resturants in Berlin. Small delicious plates that are well seasoned. I love the full out a piece of paper ordering system. The house red was also very good. Its busy but worth it.

I simply love this place. Have been here three years ago during a trip to Berlin and since then I dreamed of being back. Finally last night we went again, although the menu was changed the food is still amazing, the staff are cheerful and helpful. I dont remember the name of the dishes we ordered but I leave a picture for reference. They come in little tapas style plates so the more you order the more you taste. Each dish is €3,5, they also do main dishes. The coconut curry and ribs were the star of the table. I will definetily be back.

My meal at Transit was amazing. The food was fresh and fantastic! It came unbelievingly quick and was hot! Everything you want but never expect from a "trendy" restaurant.Stefan my waiter was so efficient and so professional I wanted to buy him a ticket to a city where tips were important! Hed make a killing.I had the prawns in avocado - unique and deliciousThe duck with five spices was - incredibleMy sautéed mixed vegetables were mostly Bok Choy but perfectly cooked.The crispy chicken and pork rolls were bland and not my favorite, however they couldnt affect my happy experience at this restaurant.Loved it.
