A busy area in the heart of London city. Both tourists and locals flock there. Lots of restaurants nearby. The National Gallery is located here. People sit in the steps and enjoy. Kids also enjoy here. Flock of pigeons visit this place. Nice place to pass some time here.

I have a lot about this place and finally got a chance to visit it after few of my visits to London. However, I didnt get as much time to explore this place but the first impressions of the square and the fountains and all the huge sculptures here was amazing. I would suggest visiting this place early mornings or late at nights because the amount of crowd that you would find here will make you go home as soon as you reach there at peak hours.

💡PRO TIP: Go there in the evening to see people perform. Certain groups give performances and entertain people right at the heart of London!Formerly known as Charing Cross, Trafalgar square is a must-see while in London! A tourist attraction and public space, Trafalgar Square can be thought of as Londons common room. Named for the Battle of Trafalgar, the Square is now a site for celebrations, protests, events, and art.

Trafalgar square is a must-see while in London! Sadly this time the Lions around the main monument were under repair/restoration, so noone could sit on them like people used to do. Nevertheless, its a grand place from which you can easily go anywhere in London, and from which you can even see Big Ben 😁.Definitely go to the National Gallery too! Highly recommended 😊

Came to watch the procession of the Queens coffin going to Westminster Abbey. Didnt see anything 😕 there were barriers all round the viewing are and no-one could get in or out. Just be aware if your coming for the funeral, once the areas are full, you wont get anywhere near. Underground stations were closed as well for safety reasons. Glad we came up here though

I visited Trafalgar Square on my recent trip to London and I was not disappointed. The square is beautiful and there is so much to see and do. The square is also very busy, which I loved. There are plenty of things to keep you busy in Trafalgar Square and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting London.

As chaotic as it is, I LOVE Trafalgar Square. Great spot to grab a coffee and sit somewhere and enjoy the city! We rented some electric scooters and scooted around the area. Great experience overall.

Nice to seat and relax near the fountains especially in hot weather. If someone just visiting Central London and want to do cheap shopping like water or some sweets near there is tesco also is public toiled opposite the fountains if someone need to go before go to the another place.

A famous and known name from the game of monopoly. Historic place in London with historic monuments. You will need not more than 5 minutes in this place. Just a few minutes walk from the famous big ben and few minutes walk from here to the buckingham castle. You should hire rental bicycles which are 2 pound for an hour, and visit these famous places.

A landmark historical significance with the monuments of Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson commemorating the battle of Trafalgar. Unfortunately at my arrival the monuments and water fountains were fenced off but still a great place to sit and soak in the atmosphere.

An iconic square of Central London, surrounded by embassies of major countries. It recently hosted the screening UEFA womens Finals with the whole city cheering the lionesses in a proud and historic win. The everyday energy in this monument is inspiring with Visitors from around the world as well as the Breathing City around. Can also plan the National Art Gallery visit at a very decent cost. Pre-booking required. Square is most easily accessible by London bus as well as underground. Wheelchair accessible. Fountains were not working mostly because of Summers water ban. A must visit tourist place.

Nice to walk all around the Trafalgar Square area despite how busy it is as it is the central area of London that divides the west and east ends. There were a lot of gates up all around Trafalgar Square and we were unable to walk into the fountain area nor up to the two lions sitting at the entrance area. It appeared that they were setting up the area for some public function as there were stacks of gates ready to be assembled.

Seen this place on a lot of TV programs over the years and although I have only been to London a few times I never had the chance to go here.I finally had the chance as I was in the area and enjoyed it I love water fountains so really enjoyed the fountains here.I enjoyed seeing the sculptures and monuments here they are really impressive and worth seeing. There is the smallest police station here now used as a council store I wish they had some information here about it.I love the traffic lights with gender symbols on when the green crossing light comes on.This is a great place to visit I hope to come back and spend a bit longer here.

Iconic historical landmark. Always clean, and always worth a visit. The "fourth plinth" changes from time to time with a different statue/sculpture. Great meeting location and well-placed for a walk down the Mall to the Palace, the National Gallery and other iconic London landmarks.

This is a must see landmark, especially because its free! A lovely monument stands in the center, and theres an iconic view of big ben that can bee seen down the street. Lots of little cafes and food options to grab lunch or a snack before heading into the national gallery or national portrait gallery.

Its Trafalgar Square, what more is there to say. Although visiting at 8 in the evening was better than the day as it was deserted other than a few skateboarders and a rather questionable kareoke singer! The new ice cream fly plinth is a bit out of place I think but make your own mind up on that!

Its a really pretty place in the morning to go to, even more when its shining. Its good place to just relax at or just stop by if you are coming across it as it offers its own scenic view. There are also other attractions near it as well and is a picturesque place you can take while there. Its also completely free and is usually not that busy so you can go there with your family to sit at and admire the buildings around as well.

Always a pleasure to visit just before New Years Day. The fountains look amazing and the lions sitting below Nelsons Column look incredible. A good solid statement of our heritage. The Christmas tree this year from Norway as a gift not its best but very greatful as damage was done in transit to some of the branches.

Beautiful during Christmas season with a small market - stalls selling souvenirs, food and drinks. Not much else to do though, only about 20ish small stalls. The buskers were the highlight of the evening (sadly I didn’t take a video/photo)Easily accessible from Oxford street and via Tube 👍🏼

Right outside the National Gallery, there is beautiful architecture around. Fountains are lovely there, on a day with 28°C they are very welcome too. I wouldnt say there is actually much to do there apart from take photos, listen to rubbish buskers and be pestered about wanting a rubbish, cheap bracelet. However its great location to get to anywhere relatively easy.

Right from my childhood years when we were playing the classic Monopoly game, I’ve always loved the Trafalgar Square even though I was only there on the game not in reality 😂! But here I am live at the Trafalgar Square - an historic London heritage! Here is full of great and awesome architecture with tourists flooding in to enjoy the scenery. The statues are a beauty to behold with an eyeful of road intersections. This is also a cool place for the children to have fun.
