Great cocktails, great atmosphere.I’ve been here a couple of times, always had a good time.

Very good and delicious food! We discovered this place at our last evening, unfortunately and Fish meze was served very nice way and very tasty! Best place among we visited in Protoras. Very pleasant atmospher with the view to the sea and to the walking street! Very recommend and will come next time!

I was disappointed as surely expected more with so many so positive feedbacks here. In fact I can say that the traditional Cyprus food is good (as good as it should be and as we tasted in other taverns rated 4 and more). The salads were full of cheap ingredients from leaves and veggies with not much taste to marinated mussels and cheap crab sticks (why to bother to go to a restaurant to eat crab sticks that are not even made of crab?). The portions are large though, the service is friendly and fast. Might be a decent place for traditional Cyprus food, though.

Good food, we enjoyed the kleftiko lamb and the seafood platter. Dessert was a traditional Cypriot pastry but we thought rose sorbet was quite overpowering. Staff were really friendly!

Lovely friendly family run restaurant with excellent traditional food, in our visits here during our stay in Protaras we sampled the Meat balls, Vine leaves, Pork Kebabs and Sword fish all of which were excellent, served with carafes of reasonably priced local lovely local wine. We definitely give this restaurant 5 stars to match the generous measures of Brandies we purchased after our meals.

Good service, friendly waiters, portions are so-so, but the food barely eatable... No taste, no flavour, really bad.

Worst place we ate in our whole Cyprus trip.My wife and I ordered the fish meze. This restaurant does not know how to cook seafood. The fish overcooked, the octopus so rubbery that it was hard to put a fork on it.We got the check after the second course of the meze and left to eat somewhere else.The restaurant still decided that the fair thing was to charge us for all five courses (about €40so we paid and left.Many wonderful places to eat in the area. Would strongly suggest to avoid this one.

We had a chicken Kebab, home homemade sauce and pickled chillis were lovely. Definitely going back to try the sausages.

The best Cyprus tavern that you can find in Fig Tree Bay. Fish meze, meat meze and also good salads.The food portions are quite large and its also a family owned business which makes anyone more pleasant.

Great service and really delicious food. Fish meze was great; starting with salad, hummus, taramasalata and other sauces, really good olive paste. Then shrimps, crab meat and squid (although it was a bit too chewy). Fish souvlaki was awesome (but very small portion - two small pieces of meat per personand so was sea bass with onion and herbs seasoning. Everything was fresh and seasoned just to boost the taste and not overwhelm it with spices. Even potato fries were fresh made and suprisingly delicious: handmade, not greasy at all and pleasantly crisp. Dessert on the other hand was a little disappointing: peach melba was from canned peaches and topped with spray sweet cream. But overall it was really great experience and I left feeling full and happy.

This is one of our favourite places to visit in Protaras the portions are huge and the food is of high quality and very tasty. The customer service was excellent and very attentive.

Well what can I say but Wow those huge Pork chops 😀😋. I have returned from a holiday in Protaras Cyprus and I must say that one restaurant stood out to us, The Cyprus Tavern Protaras. The first visit we were presented with the biggest Pork chop I have ever seen and very very tasty indeed 😋😊 it was that nice that we just had to go back for more. The staff were exellent and couldnt do enough. We will definitely be coming back here when we visit Cyprus again.

Popped in here for a drink with another coupl6we had met on holiday. They hadnt eaten so ordered some food as well. It looked quite nice and they said it wasLots of souvenir shops near.

We ordered a shrimp and avocado sallad as a starter. It should have been called a plate of rodhe island dressing with a few frozen shrimps and some pieces of avocado. The main dish (stifadowas ok, not more.

Came across this place yesterday and wow what I find. Great food at a excellent price and such lovely staff who took the time to really welcome and look after us. I fully recommend this place and I will definitely visit again. Word of advice go hungry as you are looked after with portions.

Loved the food here, really tasty and service was great. Very reasonably priced, especially as they give you bread with olives and tapanade while you wait. Then I had the Afelia which was delicious and a very big portion. Then I was given a small desert complimentary as well. So I paid 11 euros for a drink and 3 courses of food. Bargain.
