The ratings for this resturant are extremely inflated and misleading. My take based on a dinner visit with family:1. Food. Good, however, portions are very small and way over priced; QAR120-140 ($38for an average entree with an appetizer size is unacceptable. Drinks were bland and tasteless.2. Service is good but slow.3. Ambiance is very good but can get very noisy with the live band.4. Value for money is poor and could be the worst place on my record for this category. Dont go hungry because you will spend so much for less.No plans to return.

Kudos to the band which played live music and kept us entertaining will definitely visit again for them even the cocktails are a must trySeafood platter was less in quantity and lack taste

I liked this place before and was one of my favourite, before the stuff forbidden me to go in at 1.28 informing me that they are already closed. (Even I was there inside 1 hour ago So if u are closed at 1.30 change your working hours at your oficial websites and all the platforms to not get people in error.

Booking is mandatory for outdoor seating, it gets too crowded in evening and weekendsWe 4 went to have good beer time. The happy hours are from 4pm to 8pmFood is ok, not that great.. mostly finger food. Veg options are very less.

We were there for dinner. Very warmly greeted at the entrance, ambience was good, dining hall is nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly and professional.Carpaccio and west bay salads were really mouth watering. For the main course it was nicely cooked and was quite flavorful but by the time it reaches our desk, it was not as hot as a steak must be. A nice evening indeed.

Went here for brunch and enjoyed the food. Is all you can eat with a good selection of options. A bit expensive for brunch and limited beer options. Good views from the restaurant, and very friendly staff with good service!

Nice place to eat next to the sea

The place is amazing, with great food, and high level live music (I dont know, if each evening its live, maybe we just got lucky :The Sea bass I got here, was the best Ive ever had!

Went for the business lunch and it was outstanding! Top quality food, good price and the staff is incredibly sweet and super attentive. We had an absolutely fabulous time, and I especially recommend the tropical fruit salad, it comes with an amazing lemon sorbet, sooooo good!! Dont come just for the food, also come for the fabulous sea view that not that many restaurants in Doha offer, absolutely stunning!

As usual, Traders offer an amazing experience similar to other country. great Mai Tai, in additional to the tasty food, If you visit I recommend that you try the Beef cho cho.

When you choose a restaurant there are certain things you look for.I specifically look for ambiance,service and quality.I can strongly say that all these were surpassed by the attention to detail service and everything good when we went for dinner and Traders.I cannot fail to mention Ms.Rhea who took care of us while here our orders were exactly how we wanted and everything was perfect thanks to her amd the amazing ream in the kitchen.Thank You ms Rhea for the great service kindness and professionalism.The music was also so good and we will definitely come back.Looking forward to this.Thank you again

One star is not even deserved! My 70 year old mum & I wanted to have lunch at 2.30pm and the service was terrible. We were Hilton hotel guests, seated for over 15 mins without any staff even offering my mum a drink after being in the 37 degree heat! We left without even ordering any food or drinks, awful service, not to the Hilton standard that usually is expected.

Live music was amazing. Mocktail and food are ok. The really pro thing is staffs so accommodating. Just the AC is not working properly hence the door should keep close not open up for heat, wish to stay longer unfortunately too hot and too humidity for the night.

Hostess is super unprofessional and the waitstaff seemed untrained but most importantly the food was wayyy overpriced and honestly wasn’t that good. Went to get some burgers at a local place after this as we left hungry and unsatisfied.

Live music, excellent staff, a must-have experience for a night out, and perfect for a date. They lose a star because of the price of drinks is more expensive than other places. 30% off drinks Happy hour ends at 8pm.

Decided to take my wife to this restaurant for her birthday.Really was shocked at the service and the food was certainly overpriced we ordered the seafood platters Qr520 for the two dishes and recived it cold the calamari was like rubber no flavor at all.Lobster lol was the worst quality they could findAt least the band made up for the bad service and very low quality of cooking

Had the steak which was very tastey and done exactly how I requested. Very friendly staff. The reason for my one less star is because I could never find a waiter when I needed one. I had to stand up look around and hope someone got my attention. This was 5pm in the afternoon with just 4 tables being occupied so the restaurant was not busy.

Slooow service arrived at half 8. Ordered drinks and a starter which was lovely. and then the wait began... pretty sure they forgot about us and after like 20min finally got a server to get our dinner order... as i write this its 10pm and still no food.... Its not even busy... Most people have left and we are still here...Will i be back?... NopeDo i recommend it?.... No(Side noteThere is a live band playing lovely music but its deafeningly loud...I just would never come back if i want to eat... For drinks only maybe but still 😑

The interior design of the place makes a true Pacific ambience. The lobster and stake were done to perfection, caviche and onion soup were delicious. We also enjoyed the Tai cocktails.Just a couple of moments that can be improved: it got a bit too cold at some stage (perhaps the aircon temperature could be monitored); lobster should be served with appropriate tools (at least lobster crackers and seafood fork); the waitress lost her interest in our table right after the main course, which made it difficult to make any additional orders.

Quite pricy. The live band was great, the flavor of the food was fantastic. Each bite was sensational. We were quite a big table and were provided with extra waiters, did not have to wait for drinks. Food took a bit of time but obviously after tasting it you will understand. Perfection takes time.

Had a very disappointing evening because of Trader Vics.While making the reservation via phone I was on informed that the dress code is Smart CasualThere were no further details given.So I was wearing shorts and a casual shirt.Later on at the restaurant they told me that there is a no-shorts policy as well. I was denied entry. It was my wife’s birthday and I had to take my entire family back.It is sad to see that despite being in the customer service industry they behaved rudely and in a very presumptuous manner. They informed me that I should check their policy online. Which customer checks terms and conditions before going to a restaurant.It is not a corporation and there should be some flexibility particularly when it was their fault for not clearly informing me when I made the reservation and I explained to them that it was a special occasion.Even corporate companies are ditching dress codes.Suffice to say I am never returning to Traders Vic’s again and of course there is no shortage of amazing restaurants in Doha. We did have a wonderful evening at another Hunters Room and Grill who obviously like any normal restaurant had no complaints about my outfit.

We love to come here! Lovely location, marvelous sea view, very relaxed ambiance. We tried the seated buffet last weekend. It was lovely. We were taking care by Rhea. She was a perfect host. We were not shortage on anything. It was a perfect relaxing weekend afternoon.

Wow this place was superb, food was awesome, every bite of each items where too good, juicy and tasty.Since i was looking for a seafood menu in Doha for a long time and finally found Traders VIC, Very well cooked seafood was available. Desserts where too good as well.Its a place you can sit,chill and relax with a great ambience and sea view.If you go to the bar restaurant you will get the open air sea view but the menus are different from both places.

Traders vic and Tahitian place always wins my heart to spend a great evening with beautiful concoctions. To make it even more better Jasper this gentleman make your night super memorable. He is very professional and great in recommending the food and beverage and aswell a great banter.Sure will be coming again.🙏❤️

I really like the place both indoor and outdoor. There was one staff whose name Nortti was so friendly and kind. I can say the mentioned staff really enjoyed his work and loves interacting with customers as well. Thank you for making our night so special Nortti! :-)

Excellent atmosphere. Felt welcomed. Comfortable seating. Service by Eve was very good. Food and drinks was good. Would definitely recommend. Starter were very good. In main course surf and turf dish was yummy 😋. Dessert sesame seed ice cream was good.

The ambience is fantastic, great variety choices of cocktails/drink and foods, a suitable place for celebration and events with family and friends.

We tried their business lunch which costs 89qar per person for 3 dishes( appetizer, main meal and dessert). All of them are soooo delicious. We will surely come back to try out their other dishes! The staff are so helpful and nice. But most of all, the view and vibes is soo relaxing.

Out for a celebratory night with friends. Beautiful surroundings with equally adequate social distancing for us to enjoy the delicious food and memorable cocktails & mocktails throughout happy hour.

We love their current Business Lunch menu!!! I kept coming back for the desserts (lemon coconut cheesecake and the lotus tart). Among the main dishes, you should definitely try their Eden salad, the volcano rolls, beef teriyaki and the Thai curry 😋😋😋 the sea view and sea breeze are just icing on cake 😍

Very nice place, very pleasent live band, food service is okay but it can use some improvement along with service. Especially when taking guest orders.Exeotionan GM & Spv service. Will be hosting my upcoming events there.. Definitely recommend this place.

Love the ambience and vibe of Tahitian Village at Trader Vics.They definitely have the best staff and the interiors are gorgeous. So is their outdoor seating with a view of the sea

Food was tasty and delicious. Had appetizers, main, drinks and dessert. I was sad when I had emptied my plate because my mouth wanted more!Unfortunately the service was poor. It’s like the servers avoid eye contact so they don’t have to approach your table. If you go early it’s a good place to chat. Later in the evening, live music is nice but is too loud to be able to hear the people at your table.

We had booked a table on a Thursday night for seven people, upon arrival we could see it was a busy evening, we ordered all the items from the starters, two rounds of drinks and a round of shots for all. The food was outstanding, so were the drinks. What is a problem for me is that the place was understaffed, there were too many guests and not enough staff. My wine came very late, I had to ask and remind the waiter and the manager many times for the orders, the plates were changed after the starters, but they were not replaced, so when the food came, there were no plates to serve the food on, again the staff had to be reminded for the same. No table linen on arrival. The bill was incorrect, I was charged for an extra wine and not the one I had drank, for a bill of 1900, the service was lacking and poor, I personally had a bad evening.
