Trader Vic's in Al `Ayn

Nice vibe as usually in Tradr vics. I took duck salad. I was not that satisfy about the taste, but in general, it stays one of the best places to eat on Al Ain.

Neat restaurant. Good service. A variety of food on menu. Alcohol available. Neat and irganized.

The food here is always amazing. Food is more of southeast Asian taste with a mix of other international mains favourites. Lovely ambience, you have a choice to stay indoors or at the terrace. Service is great too. If you love cocktails, this is the place to be, they have some of the best in town. I literally love to sample their cocktails whenever I get a craving. They also have deals on some days and brunches on some days during the weekend.

A nice bar, call ahead though to check the dress code. It changes arbitrarily. Ive been drinking there for a few years and every now and then you get turned away. Shame 😢

Enjoyed the place, you always know what you get with Trader Vic and that s a good thing. Cocktails on point, quite boozy and good is good. Though the cheateaubriand was excellent this time, cooked perfectly ....considering my SO likes it well done, they did a superb job with it.

Food Great. Smoke laden atmosphere not so great.It’s a real shame that in this day and age smokers still get their way in this restaurant whereas the rest of the world request that smokers carry out their habit outside.Unfortunately at this restaurant that is not the case and smoking is allowed inside the bar area which due to a severe lack of ventilation the entire restaurant has to deal with the terrible heavy smoke laden atmosphere.It’s a real shame because the service is excellent. The food is really very nice but being sat in that atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable and we couldn’t wait to leave.As a restaurant they should endeavour to make the restaurant area smoke free at least - however it is not and this must be addressed especially in this day and age.Smoking inside a building is no longer acceptable whatsoever.

Have visited many restaurant during this pandemic and no other restaurant takes sanitization as seriously as Trader Vics- Al Ain! Super impressed ... Always been a fan of their food, ambience, service.. along with some live music! However, they have increase the prices overall...Thats just one downside..!

If other bars in Al Ain arent Polynesian enough for you then this is the place to go. Great cocktails.

I loved visiting the restaurant. Especially since the food was really different from what others offer. We ordered a seafood and fish grill that was really very good and varied, with a taste of the sea. The attention was very professional, something that is not common in this area. Prices, of course, much higher than the rest, but it was worth it. Only at the end was there a disagreement with the amount they charged us, which was quickly resolved without any problem. We are going back because we need to get out of the culinary routine.

Amazing food and amazing friendly staff ,a memorable experience

Located in the Al Ain Rotana hotel , this Trader Vics has a lot going on. Daily happy hour from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Nurses and teachers receive 25% every day. We recently went for dinner and decided to sit on the bench seats outside by the edge of the swimming pool. The table was lit with a blue colour rechargeable lantern. Service was slow there, but the weather was great and the wait was not unpleasant. When the food did arrive, it was not a dissapointment. Colours were difficult to see with the provided blue light, but taste buds know what flavours theyre experiencing, and these were as with all trader Vics, truly tasty.Drinks were fruity and refreshing.The staff was very friendly and courteous. Overall a great place to meet friends for some great food to share, or as with several tables near us, to enjoy refreshments and the great Al Ain autumn weather .

A warm welcoming atmosphere - this of Cuban flare holds a steady stream of locals and out-of-towners dancing from the ladies night on Wednesday only just increasing its vibrancy throughout the weekend. Excellent drinks and fabulous drinks served by attentive waiters.

Traders vics is one of the few licensed bars/restaurants in Al-Ain. Excellent food and great cocktails are expected of this chain. At night, they have live bands which brings life to the place. The place is usually filled with regulars who come almost on a daily basis. Its a must visit when in Al-Ain.

Traders is pretty much the best restaurant in Al Ain (that also serves alcohol). Have been going for the last 5 years and on the whole had good food and service. Went to the Friday brunch this week and was very impressed. Set menu was tasty and the staff brilliant! Price very reasonable with Rotana card. Thanks for a great afternoon! Will be back for the brunch again soon! Ryan

Nice place one of the best in Al Ain

Frankly, it was terribly disappointing. As a platinum SPG member, I expected better.The seafood platter my friends ordered were drier than an Omani summer. My veggie curry was tasteless like Paris Hiltons latest tweet.Service by our waiter Benjamin was the only saving grace. Im going to be doing my trading somewhere else rather than Vics.
