Trade Winds Hotel in Dangriga

the scenery is good and the location cause it faces direct at the sea but the rooms and beds need renovation cause bugs where coming from the ceiling ,bed sheets where to cold but the owner is super nice so thats the only thing that can take me back to stay their

Such a pity!Amazing location on the beach but extremely rustic and poorly managed cabanas!Very pricey for the poor service and for the low quality of every piece of forniture in the cabana. From the rusted windows to the lampshades and the scratched pans and old kitchen utensils. And beetles in the toilet!!Sad to see such a nicely located place neglected and soo badly managed despite the high cost . Not at all worthy 100usd /night!

Went on a school trip to Placencia and we stayed at the Tradewinds. The rooms dont have AC, but you wont even notice it because of the cool breezes coming off of the ocean about 20 steps away from your door! Perfectly located too... only about a 1-2 minute walk to GoSea Dive Center and a 3 min walk to Above Grounds and Wendys Creole Restaurant.

Quiet, beachfront, budget (but NOT inexpensiverustic cabanas. No glass on windows (screens and shutters only), no A/C, no hot water (!!), no mirror in bathroom, tiny rooms, minimal furnishings, Excellent high speed internet and fantastically friendly staff! Overpriced.

Make sure that you really book a cabana, and not a "room in boutique hotel ". Those rooms (there are 2 of themare extremely tiny, less than 10 square meters. Photos always depicting the cabanas, which have a top location and are very appealingService was good

De magnifique petite cabane, bien aménagée, pas de climatisation, ventilateur au plafond et sur pied présent. WiFi bonne sauf dans la petit cabane toute a gauche la plus éloignés. Mais près avoir prévenu du problème on nous a changé de cabane et nous avons eu une cabane plus haut de gamme pour le même prix. Plage à 4 mètres des cabane, hamac sur les terasses. Cétait le paradis. Et la propriétaire très gentille.

We hired a basic room with a private bathroom at a reasonable price on Air Bnb.The location of this property is great, it is pretty much on the beach.The place is cosy with a fan.Bedroom and towels were clean.The shower & sink cleanliness could be improved / maintained better.The water temperature and pressure were great.The internet speed was fast.They do clean your place daily if you like.The location is definitely unbeatable with good breakfast place near by and close proximity to the town centre.Tracey & Janice were friendly and quick to respond to our queries.Thank you for having us :)

Amazing cabanas and hospitality

You can toss a rock into the sea from your front door. Awesome

They have nice cabanas with sea view or some without further back. There are bigger rooms for 207 $BZD, smaller one for 165 $BZD and the cheapest one for 110 $BZD, if Im right. The rooms are basic, usually equipped with a fridge and a fan. no A/C. However, usually its windy during the day and an A/C is not really needed - during the night would be nice though. However, in my opinion its far too expensive for what you get.

Great beach side cabanas in the nice Caribbean country of Belize its paradise on earth.

Basic but the view from the porch is priceless. I have AC at home. I dont go the beach and expect AC.

Had an incredible stay here in May!

A bit of a dream spot really. Our cabaña was right on the beach. Most nights a strong breeze kept it so cool we wanted sheets at night, a first after a long summer in Central America. The place had a fridge and microwave, we were told other rooms had kitchens but we didnt need it as we have our own little cooker. We felt safe and met lots of cool beach goers and others staying in the other cabins. Miss Tracy was just a delight, checking in to make sure we were all good. You can walk to anywhere in town. And its affordable, especially when compared to the resorts and other hotels we checked out which offered either much smaller rooms and not on the beach, or were three or four times as expensive.

Was a great stay right on the beach, its quiet, and relaxed. Fell asleep to the sound of the ocean each night and a great breeze which was wonderful. The staff are so friendly just like everyone else in Placencia and belize. I will be back.

Loved this place!! Cute cottage right on the beach!! No need for air conditioning with Trade Winds to keep you cool!! Love Belize!!!
