Town Hall Bistro - Bistro in Sionainn, Ireland
A great location , service and staff outstanding
Everyone should eat here at some stage. Top class food, service and ambience.
Nice food, affordable price
Really flavourful food. Though whole process of going out for a meal felt rushed and execution was a bit off. Had potential to be stunning.
Always a great experience in the town hall.great staff ,wonderful food with locally sourced produce,in a wonderful setting that is the town hall restaurant.
Fit four of us in. Very nice kids meal. Food was tasty and very reasonable, fresh vegetables and the mains were perfect. Cant fault the staff or atmosphere.
Great food, nice location, polite service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
Fantastic menu.. lovely setting and great service
Outstanding. We stopped off in Ennis overnight last Saturday July 8th...for a Birthday Celebration Dinner. This Restaurant was highly recommended by the excellent B&B owner Mary at Glenomra House Ennis.A top recommendation.Super food, great atmosphere, beautiful ambience & excellent staff. We will be back.
Great food, friendly staff, would highly recommend
Delicious food reasonably price. Will be back for sure
I have been here many times over the years and the food is always great. It was busy as usual when we arrived but the service was prompt. I got the chowder which was lovely. My husband loved the breaded prawns, so tasty.
Very Good Customer Service lovely food very friendly staff
Perfect food but the interior design could be a little warmer.
This place is a touch of class!Beautiful traditional setting in Ennis town with some delicious food and wine!Been here for dinner and felt so warm cosy! Staff are well trained and provide a great service!
Amazing bread platter, tasty seabass salad, great staff, would definitely visit again!
Lovely food and wine friendly staff well worth a visit
Lovely atmosphere when you enter the premises, nicely decorated. The food is delicious. Ive had lunch several times here, evening dinner and really enjoyed it. Well worth a visit plus they do delightful scones!
Very enjoyable,Food very good.Staff very attentive.
This is my favourite place to eat in Ennis. The food and atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are so friendly.
Popped in for a family meal, the food was very tasty portions average. Social distancing well maintained. Stall nice.
Delicious food and felt very safe with social distancing being adhered to. Staff are extremely nice
Lovely restaurant with excellent food and lovely staff. I would definitely recommend this place.
Very attentive and acommodating staff (Aine & Barbara). Food was delicious (chowder, pork belly, lamb shank and chicken supreme). A highlight of our trip to Ennis!
Visited for family celebration 🎉 lovely meal, just noticed prices on set menu have increased by five euro, now 35,,, food delicious, service excellent
Great food, nice staff and great value for money
An excellent place to eat. Wonderful food and wonderful staff.
Fabulous food. Great service and staff. Very best restaurant in Ennis. A must visit if youre in town
Fabulous menu, food is top class and the staff are excellent.
As always the food was beautiful here. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful . In these strange times with corona virus, everything was spotless, sanitation provided and all the staff wore masks. Love going there and highly recommend it here. Definitely well worth a visit.
Its a very nice restaurant. The service is fabulous and the food very very delicious. Its a good value for the price. If you search a good restaurant in Ennis, try the Town Hall Bistro
So disappointed that the staff were NOT wearing face coverings last evening. I should have phoned first to ask, Im afraid I will not be going back until management respect their patrons by staff wearing face coverings. Food great and staff very friendly.
A place for great dining in town. Quality of food was excellent however the interior is not that great as it looks like some random pub. Staffs were friendly and welcoming.
Came here for a valentines day meal with the better half, the food was amazing and very well presented, the staff were very good aswell, no long waits and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend to others.. Great fine dining in Ennis
Always brilliant. Staff are really helpful and friendly. One little thing... After 20 or so years, I still havent figured out what qualifies one for a nod or acknowledgement from the owner, Mr Flynn.
5 euros and 20 cent for a coffee and scone; service so slow we were about to leave. Coffee lukewarm and tasteless, scones not much better. Avoid this place; much better quality and value in other cafes in Ennis.
The town hall in my opinion is regarded as one of the best options for a fancy meal in town and the food and service most definitely does not disappoint, all three dishes that I got were spectacular I had the pork belly for start, pan fried fillet of beef for main and Oreo cheesecake on special for the day we went as dessert all of which tasted amazing were good portions. We visited as part of a work staff party and we were all looked after exceptionally and left stuffed. The only comment I will make is that the drinks we were received were not great and we changed to a bottle of wine instead. But overall a great meal and would highly recommend.
Visited here mid week. Interior was excellent. Staff were friendly and the service was quick. Had the set menu, three courses for €29.99. Every dish was from starter to dessert was really good. Portion sizes were also excellent. Good selection of wines also available. Very nice restaraunt, would most definitely recommend.
Wow.Came here as a last minute plan after a long day out. Better than the best restaurant at home. Did a bit of a crab feast with a crab tasting as starter and monkfish with crab claws as main and it was as amazing as that sounds. To remember. Go, you wont be disappointed.Service was excellent.
The most enjoyable dining experience Ive had - both food and service are at an exceptionally high standard - made my daughters occasion a night to remember and friendly front of house lady took lovely photos for us .
There is a lot of really good cooking going on in Ireland these days, but the dinner I had at this restaurant stood out as one of the nicest. I particularly liked the array of various fresh breads that came to the table, and the duck I ordered was delicious. It came with a huge side of various vegetables. Due to a tricky dietary restriction, Im guessing the chef had to cook up an entirely different sauce for my duck, but they were all so welcoming about it, and the results were excellent. It was kind of like having a dear friend who is happy to make you whatever youd like but the friend also happens to be a superior chef :-You are in good hands at this restaurant!
Very interesting venue. Extremely child friendly. Warm atmosphere, very pleasant staff, young Malachy in particular. The food was seriously delicious, slow cooked Lamb with red wine Jus. Gratin potatoes were More without hesitation. As my brothers looked on in surprise. They were the first to be scrumptiously enjoyed. Lamb was falling off the bone.Service was very good, and staff took on board we were embarking on a long drive.Highly recommend The Town Hall in Ennis. Highly recommend Ennis.
Very Good Service. Monkfish very disappointing. Over cooked lacking in flavour. Very dry. Pork belly starter very good. Irish and calypso coffee very well executed.
Love this place great food great prices staff are brilliant. Always go for lunch when in town. V good to kids and will try and suit them for food.
Really nice meal, lucky to get a table as we hadnt booked. Definitely go back. Lovely staff too.
Lovely spot for a catch up with a friend or family . Lovely food , lovely staff and very welcoming here. A very busy place. Definitely well worth a visit.
Love this place. The food is amazing as are the staff. The atmosphere is just lovely there also.
I booked a party of 14 for dinner without specifying what the occasion was. Just after we ordered our food the restaurant manager Mary brought two helium balloons to our table congratulating my partner and I on our engagement. Everyone except my mother ordered a starter so rather than have her sit there watching us all eat they brought her a little espresso cup of soup complimentary so she wasnt left out! After the main course we received personalised desserts congratulating us on our engagement with our names written in chocolate even though I hadnt even ordered a dessert! Such a special night made so much more memorable by Mary and staff, her friendliness and professionalism blew us away. We have had many many family occasions in The Old Ground Hotel and have never been disappointed they ALWAYS deliver. David Maxwell has also been extremely kind and helpful on previous occasions. I could not recommend this venue highly enough. Keep it up.
Fantastic quick food. I got the pork belly starter with the vegetarian curry as the main. Could not fault it. Everyone else at our table was also very pleased with their choices.
The food here is superb. Our table had vegetarian curry, lamb and the monk fish with a variety of appetizers, and everything tasted great -especially the lamb and monk fish. Nice flavors and large portions; the cook on the proteins was perfect. I highly recommend the crab appetizer. They offered a selection of delicious breads, and gave us a vegetable + potato dish on the house. To nitpick, traditionally, the pork belly (appetizershould be sliced much thinner (like ham or even bacon thinness).
