Town Beach Park in Kempsey

I was visiting a family member from Sydney who was checking in at our request i went to the office and asked to use the toilet i was busting, you would have thought that i had asked for a weeks free stay ... i was spoken to so rudely and i mean so rude i had stated that i will be posting this on trip adviser as i do this regularly i was spoken to even more rudely they just did not give a dam i had parked just out front as i needed to go to the bathroom i was then going to move it, the way i was spoken to for that was so embarrassing ... the staff has let this park down big time .... however on a brighter note the park looked really good well maintained toilets were quite clean, pool looked clean, my niece and her husband had a great stay so huge thumbs up on the park, but the staff OMG please 🙏 try and be nice to everyone you just never know who they are ..... i will be posting this everywhere i go and advising the major caravan traveling pages, i pray that the staff are all ok and not going through any personal problems i have most of this on video recording as my partner hit record when she heard that something was wrong ... truly conduct unbecoming of such a beautiful park.

What an array of exciting activities for children of all ages, right next to the river opening, beach, dolphins - and open-air gallery of painted rocks/memorabilia ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Swing with seatbelt and high back, rolling wooden tunnels, roundabout, tall slides...grass to play on, now a new skatepark... and a coffee shop! 😄👍

Clean cabins with good kitchen appliances, even a microwave. Good hot water with hair dryer and iron also provided. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Would stay here again.

Wonderful park that links Town Beach with the Breakwall. It has lots of seating areas, grass, some gym equipment and of course walkways. Such a pleasant spot.

Fantastic beach, watched dolphins 🐬 👌plenty of driftwood for me.

Looks like a great beach to visit in the summer with low lying waves, free parking adjacent for you with a cafe close by too.

Great place to have a rest in the trip - kinda secluded and family friendly at the same time ;)

One of many beautiful beaches in Port Macquarie.Has council lifeguard on duty until 5pm outside of SLSA times. Clean amenities.Parking limited but available next to the beach.Marine Rescue,now State Government run, used to be a volunteer Rescue Association ( VRAbase until it was handed over to the State Government but still run by volunteers who must do as the heirarchy says. Lots of money wasted as public servants drive around in government supplied vehicles while the volunteer base run raffles to survive.

Loved this place. Close to water, lots of activities for the little ones and not so little ones and a great coffee shop. Kids able to burn off excess energy before we hit the road again for home

Port Macquarie council have done a great job with this space. Great for surf / bodyboard events and small live concerts. The new toilets and cafe make it a perfect spot to chill while the kids carve up the skatepark™️

Great Park for kids of all ages. Great playground equipment. Good scooter area for younger kids. And a skatepark for older ones

Beautiful walk along the breakwater. Check out the cafe for a yummy organic juice or acai bowl. Or down the other end of town grab the best gelato ever at Blue Cow Gelato.

Enjoyed my morning walk here. Well maintained area and good cafes available as well

A great playground with a life size hamster wheel Ive not seen at any other playground! Great entertainment for a good age range. Skate Park local, toilets, parking, beach, grass.

This beach is very special to me. Not only is it beautiful, I pretty much grew up here. Close to town, (hence the nameI have made some of my best lifelong memories and friends here. Cafe has delicious coffee and a great atmosphere. Seriously, who could ask for a better view.

Either around sunrise or sunset the views are simply stunning. Port Macquarie is such a beautiful town and the locals are so warm and friendly. I love all the walks and little shops here.

Great spot to burn off some energy with the little ones - well equipped playground, cafe, toilets, skate park, open ground and of course Town beach (suitable for swimming, back activities etc).

Nice area to hang out especially if you dont want to get sandblasted when windy. Work going on at the moment to upgrade the coastal path. Nice cafe and shady area under picnic benches and trees

Town Beach Park is the entry for Breakwall Walk in Port Macquarie.. It is beautiful.. On top there is Gaol Point Lookout, some exotic hotels then beach and in park there is skating place.. All together a scenic view of Port Macquarie.. 😍

Great avo walk waiting for sunset. Amazing scenery looking over the Pacific Ocean. The skate park is fun and the playground provides additional fun for little ones

Ease of access well kept, clean with spectacular views, with eateries & Beverage s across the road

Clean, plenty of toilets, a cafe, a shower and foot tap to wash the sand off. The skatepark is awesome and there is also play equipment for the little ones. There is also a field at the back that is big enough to play firsbee or touch football. 3 tables underneath shelters for a birthday party or family/friend gathering.

Lovely park to chill on a sunny day on your way to Byron Bay or just as a stop-over. Skating, picnic areas, playgrounds. Also very nice to see the boulders being painted on!

Town beach has something for everyone. Skate park for land kids, great surf for water babies, breakwall art for the inquisitive, coffee shops and restaurants offering good food, spectacular views and friendly good vibes. Best views from the lookout. Great place to support the Iron man.

Ample and free parking space adjacent to a breathtakingly beautiful beach as well as just outside of town. Showers, amenities & a fantastic beach-front café (Salty Crewround of the already great service - by courtesy of the City of PMQ!

Awesome surf beach located at the end of breakwall walk, Port Macquarie. A great skate park is situated adjacent to the beach. Toilets are also situated here together with a number of covered picnic tables. A lovely place to take in the surf, watch yachts and other watercraft entering and leaving the river mouth or have sundowners when the weather is fine.Try @breakHQ coffee

Its one of the scenic locations in Port Macquarie. I specially loved the coloured rocks painted by tourists and mostly campers (there is an NRMA caravan and camping area running along the parkGood stroll. Has play area for kids and lots of space for adults to just sit, relax and meditate along the waterfront!

Was a beautiful day, the dolphins had a great feed!

Nice revamped town beach park - really nice footpaths , well kept gardens and Grass. Was a great little pier to fish off for the kids. Very close to center of towns which has all the great restaurants and pubs not to mention the shopping hub and Entertainment hub of port Macquarie (movies etc)

Great skate park, Plenty of room for Picnics or just hanging out. Beautiful beach with 1 of the worlds best body boarding waves. We have had 2 world champions from here. With Daemon king being a 4 times world campaign. 1 year he was drop knee world camp as well, only 1 to pull that 1 off so far. Because of the break the locals call Breakwall. Right at the very left end of the town beach near the wall & river. Port Macquarie has & still is producing some of the best body boarders the world has & will ever see.As for the surfers, if your good enough slot in at Breakwall or chose from middles, the point, or on big n/e Swells out the back at what a few of us call ports pipeline.
