Tower Hill Heritage Garden in Parry Sound

I have been to Parry Sound but never visited here.It is a pretty cool experience. They have a great garden. There is a museum you can visit for $5.The tower is a pretty cool experience and its free. When I went, it was windy. You can really feel it up top. Dont worry though, its safe.It is such a great view from up there.

Went up the tower to see the fall colors and the view was soooo stunning. Luckily good train passed the area which was like cherry on top. Worth going up thise stairs.

The views from the tower are great.Shame it can get so crowded.Some annoying people brought an infant and it sounded like a daycare the whole time I was there. Made it impossible to enjoy the nature & views of the location.😒

tower was cool. had good views. worth the stairs lolgarden was nice. lots of trails that we didnt have time to do.little fishies in the pond.

Excellent place to go and enjoy. 130 steps gets you way up to get great Panoramic Views and Camera Advantage!! A Must Go To!!

Beautiful gardens surrounding a very sturdy modern steel structural tower with amazing views over the town and the sound. We visit every time were in the area.

Beautiful view, can see water, train tracks, trees, boats, town, lovely! Wasnt as bad of a trek as I was afraid of, very sturdy and had a bench to sit on around the half way point. What a beautiful day to visit, glad we made it!!

Beautiful gardens, fish pond and the tower for fun to climb. Great place to stop with kids to let them burn off some energy. Also a good workout for the adults to climb the stairs.

Great place for a morning walk, and great views of Parry Sound from the tower.

Its a nice area up by the tower, walk around and youll see plenty. Theres a pond, flower arrangements the tower, the museum, time capsules, sun dials, old buoys, old logging and grading equipment, benches, picnic tables shade... theres all kinds of trails behind the museum you can wander. Great spot, near Trestle Brewery and Bowes Street.

Didnt really see why they say its about a 2 hour venture, but the gardens really are quite nice. Climbing the tower, 130 steps, offered up a nice view. Unfortunately the museum was not open on Civic Holiday Monday. May try to catch the museum next year.

Great place to stop and stretch our legs. Lots of nice views and a fish pond. Tight roads for our 35 RV to manoeuver but we found parking in the museum lot while it was closed. Not enough space in the park parking.

If you want great pics of parry sound it’s a must see! You go so high in the lookout, the view is so beautiful!

Beautiful place and its open until 11pm but the museum closes at 4pm

Gardens were all well maintained and the flowers were spectacular. Folks can still climb up the tower if they want.

Cute park filled with flowers gardens, a museum, and an observation tower.The tower is 6 floors high, and offers a good 360° view of the surrounding area.Some things you will see at the top are the train tracks, Lake, Perry Sound city, and its Marina.

Great overview of Perry Sound area, free parking and free access to the tower. There is Museum there but it was closed in Thanksgiving Day.

It is really wonderful if you like nature, flowers, or gardens - really something special. Paths winding through the forest leading to nifty little nooks. I really love this place.The tower view is pretty spiffy too :)

Really cool place to see if youre in Parry Sound. There is a tower you can go up on and get a great view of the lake and the town. Definitely recommend taking 15 minutes out of your day to go there, you wont regret it!!

Was so good a must see grounds very nice for family a must see but the museum was not open would love to see but yes stop there for u will enjoy plus to the grounds keeper

Absolutely beautiful grounds and views from the top of the tower. Plus theres a cool art gallery on site featuring beautiful work from local artists! Well worth the visit.

Never too busy. Great spot for a picnic lunch and a walk up the tower to work it off. Great view of parry sound. Fun to be there and watch when the train crosses the giant bridge. Not good for folks scared of heights or if one would struggle to walk up about 10 floors. As a parent you can wait at the bottom and pay your kids for every time they go up and down the tower

Tower is closed during lockdown but the gardens are nice and there is still a good view from the hill

Excellent park in the city of Parry Sound. Park is clean and well taken care of. Clean chairs all around the park for you to sit in and enjoy the views. The old fire tower is a beautiful view of the bay and city.

Amazing view of the surrounding areas. Not too high and not too busy! At off peak hours. You can even go later in the day!

We arrived too late to go into museum, but it was great to go up the tower. The garden paths and fish pond were nice. Amazing view from tower

The museum was closed when we visited, but the grounds were really nice and we enjoyed the views from the top of the tower. We hiked along the rotary trail to get up to the museum and it was very pleasant. The trails, tower, and museum are fairly simple, but worth stopping and checking out.

Very beautiful view of Parry Sound when you climb to the top of the tower! Too bad the grates get in the way though.
