Food was great, service was great. Decor could use a little upgrading. But all in all a good family restaurant.

Amazing breakfast as always, however our sever seemed to have disappeared for a while and I had to ask the hostess if she could track her down after waiting a long enough amount of time for her to come back after bringing our plates.I understand she is entitled to breaks, however we were waiting over 30 minutes once we were done eating, and hadnt seen her since we received the food so kind of inconvenient, but she did provide good service other than that!Not an issue we normally have either, everywhere is short-staffed right now, and I get that.

Was a great first impression..food was good ...waffle was a lil hard but ...other then that it was fabulous great staff and was a clean restaurant

Went for breakfast, got a coffe to start with. After drinking half of the cap noticed a lipstick left over on the cap from previous customer.Very disappointed.Talked to the manager and got the response he wont do anything for it.Technically looked like he doesnt care.What a joke.Evoid this place.Stay away. They use dirty dishes.

This place is soo good. Came in from a day on the boat, needed something to warm us up. I had the Super Star poutine, absolutely loved it. It came in a big salad bowl, green pepers, mushrooms, sliced meats. This tops all poutines Ive ever experienced.Thank you Mikes for filling our bellies.

First time there, will not be the last. Food was tasty, quick, and plentiful. That was a good carnivore pizza! Magnifique!

Good breakfast menu, affordable and a go to for my relatives living in Timmins. Been there now a couple times and had a good breakfast experience.

Great food, only issue was our server seemed impatient and generally displeased being there.

This is a local restaurant with a large menu and lots of seating capacity. Items are reasonably priced and they are known for their breakfast skillets. I have found over the years that service quality, speed, and cheer were lacking. For example not getting a check-in after your food is delivered and having to get out of your seat to find someone so you can pay the bill. I dont understand the hours either, with few local seated dining options, an 8 a.m. opening is too late for the business crowd. Still the best option for local dining.

Asked for one egg medium cantonnier Benedict. Got served long after rest of our table, and received a very soft egg. Didnt seem to have enough staff on for the volume of Sunday morning diners. Not blaming waitress. Seemed like my plate was an afterthought as it was not nearly as plentiful as other plates with similar orders at our table.

Always a terrific breakfast at Mikes. Thankfully the food made up for the mediocre service. They were a little busy, as is usually the case for breakfast, but I do expect more from a server. Ive had what qualifies as excellent service many times in the past, despite the restaurant being much more to capacity than it was on my last visit. So Ill be back for sure. Just try not to forget the maple syrup in the breakfast skillet next time... After waiting ten minutes for a bottle of ketchup, I wasnt going to mention it. Still love your food though!

Fantastic food and service, server went above and beyond by allowing us to order a breakfast meal that was no longer on the menu (coco fruit).

Me and my girlfriend had breakfast at this restaurant, the waitress greeted us at the door, and was very displeasing. She then seated us at a table, right in the middle of the restaurant, so we asked very kindly to switch to a booth. The waitress so rudely picked up our utensils and napkins and moved it to a booth and said absolutely nothing. This booth so happened to be another waitress’ area. We ordered our food and just after doing so, they were arguing about us, right in front of us! Never asked us for refills on our drinks, French toast was uncooked, and tasted like playdough, the hollandaise sauce tasted like warm water, and had no flavour. I had also ordered a parfait, which I ate with my fork, because she didn’t give me a spoon, never came to ask us if everything was okay, ( which it wasn’t and this was a very unpleasant experience. Never coming back here again. If I could give this place negative stars, I would.

We went for dinner and the food was okay. The wings are good though! I dont think Id come back, maybe just for the breakfast.

The pizza man. Ooof like its so good. Not everything is the bomb like I had breakfast once and the potatoes tasted freezer burnt or something idk. But thats why I cant give 5 stars. Otherwise like... the pizza man. Get the all dressed pizza. You can even get a side of spaghetti which is pretty sweet if you ask me.

Take out was delicious. Food was ready fast, pick up was easy and the staff was very friendly. Haven’t had a delicious breakfast like this in along time. Def recommend!

This was a great place. I had a superstar poutine which was generously loaded with thinly sliced steak, mushroom, onions, green peppers, and loads of wonderful gravy. The staff were attentive and polite. Would recommend :)

I would recommend the salmon and alfredo. The salmon was so tasty, perfectly cooked and seasoned, good size too. The pasta was great: not heavy or greasy, light and delectable.Fish and chips, and choco Mike also yummy. Excellent food and service: family friendly, business casual. The hockey game was on. We went as a mother and daughter dinner.

Dissapointing, ordered an appetizer it was late being brought to the table. It no sooner came when the main course arrived. Had to ask for salt and pepper, a long with cheese for the pasta and caesar salad. The cheese grater was near empty. Had to ask several times for coffee. Waitress reached over our meal to remove the appetizer dishes. Then stood their waiting for payment then cleared the table before I even finished my drink. Felt so rushed. Not recommended if you want a nice relaxing meal. Price was nice at 2 for 1, but could have better customer service.

Familiar with Mikes after an experience in Quebec a few years ago. I dont normally go to chains, but I needed a quick breakfast before an 8 hour drive, so I went with a known entity. Expected, and got, a good meal, what more does one need?

We love going to Mikes! Food is consistently good. Always good deals to be had. The pizza deal is awesome for families. I find their pizza recipe to be the best in town. It tastes more like an authentic pizzeria. Try it and you will love it. Some items to consider are the bruschetta rolls, carbonera pasta and any pizza with stuffed crust.

Food was really good. Tried the pasta and salad and found it tasty. Seating is plenty and staff are very friendly and outgoing. Service is a little slow which is why I went with four instead of five stars. Overall would recommend for a healthy option of food. Tastes like home.

Breakfast was good service not. Sure it was pretty busy but wating staff should also provide the same amount of service to a single customer as a table of four or more.I asked for water and did not get it nor did my coffee get refilled nor did my server even return to ask me how my meal was. And she passed by me several times. I guess I am not worth the hassle. Will take my weekend breakfast elsewhere.

Breakfast was very good. We had sausage,eggs and home fries well presented. The service was excellent always asking to refill your coffee, very sweet and polite waitress. We were also greeted right away as we came in.

Update to my recent review. The owner came to our home and handed us a gift certificate personally and apologized for the rare poor service. We have since been back twice and the service was great. I will add that the food is always great. I would, however, like to see real hollandaise sauce being made and used.

Hospitable staff. Best place for breakfast in town. Great central location close to all amenities. For the rest the day Mikes becomes a Italian eatery where specials such as seafood is introduced. Havent seen a steak on the menu yet.

My family loves eating here whenever we get the chance. The food is great & the service is always good. Each time we eat here the waitresses ensure you are taken care of. Always look forward to Mikes, as we know itll be a worthy dining experience.

Amazing breakfast! However, the dinner horrible. The dinner was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had; avoid like the plague. Was given the same dirty cup twice, the meal was bland and cold when it showed up at my table, and the desert (cheesecakewas watery and the consistency was all wrong. The breakfast was amazing though so it just about balances out.

Had lunch there yesterday. Food was edible, but bland and uninspired. My "Philly Steak Sub" came on a dry hot dog bun, no sauce, no cheese, not even the grilled onions that were in the description of the sandwich. Just some shaved beef and a pile of lettuce. Would have sent it back, but the food took so long to eventually arrive that I didnt want to be late going back to work. Should have known better, Mikes is always disappointing, but every six months or so we give it another try.Edit: Breakfast here is actually quite nice.

In town for a wedding. Missed breakfast at hotel, they recommended we try here......well very good choice. Our server Linda was great. Lots of energy and very attentive and caring. 100 percent stopping here agian. Great food selection.
