We love this place in San Carlos, in a great location and great music. Variety in their dishes and their firewood pizzas are delicious.

We ate both dinner and breakfast here and both meals were wonderful. The steak had so much flavor, and the huevos rancheros were pretty standard. Service was outstanding and prices were appropriate. We’d definitely come back.

Great atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food, fair prices, very fair. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in the area. I will sure be coming back soon.

The resto has a nice outside dining table with yellow light at night and live music, popular for local too.. ordered steak in two occasions and they serve good quality meats. The price is considered high for local standard.

Had breakfast there last Saturday. The service was atrocious, with only two waiters for a fairly full restaurant, but whatever you order, DO NOT ORDER EGGS BENEDICT. The chef has no idea what a hollandaise sauce is. Absolutely inedible and I refused to pay for it. 12 months ago it was excellent, but I think they have a new chef.

Delicious food and quick service. Great English for non-Spanish speakers. Lovely outdoor seating. However, on main road, so cars can be kind of loud.

Food was excellent and I was very impressed that when told my wife cant eat gluten the chef went out of his way to make coconut shrimp gluten free so that she was happy. When shes happy Im happy. My food was also good, the setting beautiful and the staff friendly.Revisit: hamburger was fantastic, if a little small. I had to get another side of fries. Wife got the same fried shrimp and said they were the best ever

Worst pasta carbonara on earth..... everyone deserves a chancewent back five months later. 140 pesos for a small margarita.....,weak..... I will not go back. So over priced. I can simply say that the beef burgundy was slop......the owner needs cooking classes....I feel sorry for the ignorant customers that go there

I drive by most every day on the way to my boatAlways people on the patio. Now I know why.75° and sunny today with a light breeze on the patio. I had an ice cold xx amber in a frosty mug and the best coconut shrimp and salad I have ever had. There is more good news. 250.00 pesos.

We have been here several times. The staff is friendly and the daily specials are well priced. Good breakfast too.

Simply the best steak Ive had since leaving New Zealand! Mouth watering. Im still in heaven today. Good service too. Unfortunately the wine selection was almost non existent, so they let themselves down there. But Id defs go again. Not the cheapest, caters more to tourists, I think.

We came here to dine and celebrate our 21st anniversary and were not disappointed❣️😃. We started with piña coladas which were prepared to perfection! My husband chose the Chicken Parmésean which was very flavorful and he loved the mix of the noodles and the homemade sauce. I ordered the Fish Filet of the Day and was very happy when they told me it was Sea Bass since thats one of my favorites 😋 It was excellent surrounded by rice, pistachios, beans and asparagus in clarified butter. We sent our compliments to the Chef, it was that good!! We sat out in the front and they had two musicians playing music which we enjoyed dancing to. The staff was courteous and helpful. It was a wonderful evening and we highly recommend this place 👍👍👍👍

Usually wonderful food. Really disappointed this time. Coconut shrimp had a thick batter and no coconut, chicken enchiladas had a wonderful sauce but hardly any chicken.

Its a quiet comfortable and romantic place to dine. We sat outside and listened to live music while we ate. I really liked the ambient and food was great.

Serve was good. the desserts were ok. Only went to get sweets but wish I went for dinner the pizzas smelled and looked gooooood.

Although the waiter was a little less than enthusiastically friendly, the food here is absolutely amazing, and it comes at the most reasonable prices. Borderline very cheap, for some very good food. I have never been disappointed when Ive come to this place. I would highly recommend!

Excellent service by Paco and staff! This place makes their own delicious bread,both sweet and savory. Great breakfast place! Have not tried their pizzas and dinner but my friends raved about the new years dinner they had this year with them!I did try the pizza it was good they have an outdoor wood burning brick pizza oven. I ordered the prosciutto and basil and I only wish they would of added the prosciutto after cooking the pizza. Other than that it was good. Sea bass and risotto was good also. And lastly the burguer also good. Great dinning at this place overall!

Great pizza. But do not order eggs in the morning for breakfast. Have tried over-easy six times has never come out right yet

They have excellent customer service... the food was on point. Every bite was delicious!! This is a must stop every time we visit.

Our meal at Tortugas very tasty. We enjoyed the sausage plate, fettuccine alfredo with chicken, fish plate, cambrilla, and coconut shrimp.

More like 2.5 stars, but I decided to round down. Unfortunate experience. I was recommended this restaurant and had moderately high hopes. My Surf and Turf was fine, if nothing great. My fiancee had scallops and they were way over cooked and chewy. And expensive - $33/$31. Then once we were done I had to hunt down the waitress for the check after shed already cleared the table. A/C was a bonus. The restrooms were not.

One of the best places for a meal and dinner in San Carlos. It is not a fine dining place but their meals are well prepared. They offer specials which are worth to try, they claim to bake their own bread, it is good. The pizzas are great. Their wine list is terrible, I wish they had another wine list offer, something they need to work on to improve.

Dine casual in the bistro or upscale in the dining room. Service was okay, not great. They were not crowded at the time we dined. I ordered beef Wellington which is one of my all time faves. Flavor was good but I ordered medium rare and got medium well. You just cant send back beef Wellington, as it takes a while to cook. The waiter did bring out a complementary dessert for the meal being over cooked.

Service was slow and inattentive. The beef Wellington was overcooked, but the garlic shrimp was fabulous. The waiter made up for the disappointment in our experience with a free tiramisu.

Very good food in San Carlos. Both informal and formal dining sections. The restaurant is owned and run by a professional chef. Steaks are very good as well as the seafood dishes. My wife and I had an excellent fresh tuna based salad from the menu.

Great restaurant owned by a French expat. The best prime rib in town and the eggs Benedict are a good breakfast treat on Sunday after church. 15 peso tacos on Tuesday. The bar has 3 TVs for watching sports. The dining room is classy. As with most places in Mexico, a romantic meal or a chance to visit with friends can be ruined if they have a band playing loud music. Prices a bit higher then other places.

Im a breakfast person and they know breakfast. Owner is great he gave us our own room so our baby would sleep in peace.

Up beat restaurant. Two sides, one for a more refined dinning experience and the other for a laid back, walk in cantina atmosphere. Outside tables or comfortable inside tables. Live music some nights, andalways great staff. Breakfast was lacking.Dinner was great.
