Tormes - Andalusian restaurant in Malaga, Spain
Gambas pil-pil were outstanding, and the salmorejo is always reliable
Delicious paella (lots of seafood)! Great atmosphere at the terrace. Lovely place for dinner.
Slow service, standard food, expensive for what you get.
Great vibe! Got here around 8 PM and it was nearly empty but picked up by 8:30 and was full by 9:00. Grilled dorada fish was good. The burger was plain but good. The bread was great! The grilled squid mostly just tasted like charcoal. Even though we got there early it still took a long time to get our food. The service folks were really nice but seemed understaffed making everything slower.
One of the rare places where we could make a reservation. There was a nice atmosphere on the terrace. The service was good and the food was nice - the paella de mariscos was a bit too salty but I guess it can happen
Buen precio. Recomendable, volveríamos sin ninguna duda.
Leuk en lekker restaurant. Vriendelijk personeel. Gerechten van het huis zijn heerlijk. De huiswijn is top. De locatie is top midden in het centrum, maar toch heb je niet het gevoel dat je op een hele drukke plek zit. Wel meer gewone gerechten dan tapas. Zeker een aanrader.
I just love this place, the food and the stuff. I would go for this place everytime!💚
Paella was delicious, 1 big portion it’s for 2 people = 12€/person => 24€ for 1 big paella, price is fair, customer service is good and the food was tasty.
I have sat here for 1 hour having ordered a salad and still waiting I do not recommend this restaurant
Good food, indeed.Quality 10/10Price/quality - 10/10Organization and logistic inside the restaurant - 2/10I had to wait for 2 hours to get the food on the table.
Slow service. Rude.
Nice food, perfect customer service! 👍
Paella is delicious, good portion, price is fair, customer service is very good. Very traditional decoration inside and tables outside too.
Good shellfish paella, huge portion
delicious food and friendly staff
Vamos a comer !!!
A wonderful family restaurant within steps of the Museo Picasso. Everything we had was homemade and served on a peaceful sunny side street and terrace. Try the home made vermut!!
Great food, a lovely family run restaurant. Best service in Malaga.
Always good food -cold drinks -a proper taste of Spain!
Just wonderful! Food was delicious (especially paellaand the service was excellent! Theres a truly family atmosphere! Also there are a lot of great wines, some of then served by glasses. I highly recommend this place.
Had dinner here on a busy weekend evening. Sat on the terrace which was pleasant if rather dark. Food was fine. Service seemed a bit hit or miss.
Nice food, nice staff. If you order paella expect to wait it, but its worth waiting.
Beautiful family restaurant in Malaga. The mother did the cooking and the daughter takes the order with full energy and good recommendations. We visited late in the night and the staff are active and accommodating. The food taste and material are excellent. The mix fried sea food is good. Paella is also good. You won’t go wrong with food.
Olives, beer, bread are good. Shellfish paella is so so at best.
Top
Paella could be better, but the location is amazing. Worth visiting (try to sit outside, by the wall)
We’ve been waiting just for starters over an hour and we didn’t get all orders. Another half an hour the bill. Avoid
Only had a beer, but friendly accommodating service. Lovely patio area to soak in the sun.
This restaurant just by the Picasso Museum is a treat. The oxtail and calamari are excellent, and the croquettes are also amazing. The service is attentive and quick. When in Malaga, eat with the locals.
Delicious food and excellent service! Would love to go back soon 😍
100% recommended restaurant to go when you are visiting places in Malaga center. Staff were excellent, always trying to assess you about the menu.If you go, dont hesitate to ask for pil pil prawns, the sauce is so savory! Fried fish are delicious and also the archicokes are so tender!I would go back to this restaurant definitely!
We did not like it. Swordfish was overcooked and king prawns were not cleaned properly. For the price it is bad experience.
Great staff, amazing calamari! ;)
Gut portions, but all dishes were too salty. Maybe the cook was inloved...
We did not try the food here because the man was so rude when we arrived basically telling us that if we are there only for drinks we had to leave. We ended up having a drink (and foodat the excellent and welcoming Madi next door.
Bad food but service is what makes the differenece - terrifying. Ordered three dishes. Goat salad was ok. Then came tapas. Cheap ingredient of rice and pasta, potato. Taste bad. What was not though acceptable that mussels and one creamy dish were off. Threat off food poisoning. As my partner is certified Australian chef he knew at once. To top it off there was plastic in Sangria. All it happens( of course Not in good restaurants)After telling waiter things were shiftly taken off the table. Then the owner arrived with full bill. After pointing out that this is not really proper the owner started yelling (!“you pay!” After I tried to record situation he physically attacked me.In the end an experience to write home to but if you don’t want to waist money on bad food, get food poisoning or have screaming fight with Spanish “gentlemen “ would recommend to avoid.
Really nice gambas pil pil and desser, but I didnt enjoy tapas selection.
Very nice place, kind staff and tasty food!
The best Spanish food weve had in Malaga! The gambas pil pil and mussels were to die for. Also, the staff was very nice and friendly :)
Rude people
best gambas I ever had!!!
Genuinely impressed, great spot for lunch right next to the Picasso museum. The food was very good, much better than I expected in the heart of the tourist zone. Lovely fresh salads, open burger from Angus beef. Served swiftly. Recommended
Personnel is very polite, very good sangria, food is ok.
fantastic Gambas pil-pil and mixed salad - perfect lunch, thank you
incredibly nice personnel and very good food. We loved the freshly baked bread and delicious fried seafood, fish... a nice place just in front of Picasso museum
Fantastic. The tapas very different. We enjoyed very much. Staff were very good as well.
A nice little restaurant off the beaten track. Its got a great sun trap terrace with finches flitting about. Nothing special about the food, but there was nothing wrong with it either.
Impeccable!
