You need 4 wheele drive to reach the waterfall. The drive to the waterfall is absolutely gorgeous and the Waterfall is Beautiful.

Highly recommended 4x4 to go on this road. Our sedan only make it to one mile and a guy told us that the road is going to be worse if we go further. He suggested us to turn back if we don’t want to stuck in the middle of the road. The guy was so nice waited for us and make sure we didn’t run into any issue.

Extremely difficult road to take to the falls. Not for the first time off road driver. 4x4 is required. And high ground clearance is a must. Your reward at the falls is worth it once you get there.

The road was rough and bumpy, definitely need a four wheeled vehicle. Once you clear a few bigger rocks, ruts and drop off it’s really not very difficult or technical. The road in offers amazing views, stop and appreciate the scenery. The falls are Fun! You can drive right over the top. It consists of two main levels. Bottom of the first fall is accessible by an easy hiking train down. Not too deep and there is a deeper area great for younger children to swim and play. The second level swimming hole is deep and the funnest way down is a quick jump of the rocks. This pool is very deep and quite large. We loved it!

High clearance! 4x4 (recommendedyou will make it if you know how to drive and find lines up some rocks. I made it 2WD until i started sliding. Cause i went when it was raining. Definitely rocky, and a bumpy ride. Well well worth it. I only have a few photos of the spots i thought were tough. I didnt know hut it seems like you can camp by the falls!

The ride was great. Unfortunately the recent flooding turned the water a chocolate brown. The drive was fun. A few rocky spots. The views are impressive.

A must see for locals and tourists alike. Head waters originate in the Upper Kolob section of Zion National Park and cascade over the falls inviting everyone to take a dip, do immersive exploration, and do cliff jumping into the shallow pools. Commute from paved roads is via a long rocky road. High clearance vehicle recommended.

The most exhilarating and unnerving drive Ive ever done to one of the most magnificent waterfalls in the middle of the desert to boot. Theres a spot to even cliff jump. I REPEAT DO NOT ATTEMPT DRIVE IN ANYTHING BUT 4X4 WITH CLEARANCE. YOUR MINI VAN ISNT MAKING IT BOB.

it says 4WD recommended, that is nonsense, do not take anything but a 4×4 up there or you may get stuck/ violently scrape your cars underside. I took a Sentra up there not knowing what I was getting up to (while also getting peer pressured by my girlfriend to keep drivingand a very nice family of 4 had to push our car out of a ditch. a very nice man in a Mercedes offered to drive us up to the falls and we hung out with him for like 4 hours. Go here, bring a 4wd capable vehicle thats not low to the ground and youll love the view! Thanks to Nick and the family in the Toyota Tacoma for helping me and bella make this trip as successful as possible regardless of our inability to listen to signs, God bless you people!

Super rugged road to get there. Needed to use 4WD and lock the differentials to get there. The kids were a little scared on the drive in! After the slow crawl in though, it was a magical haven in the middle of the desert! Cliff jumping, Creek swimming, fish catching, and shade to sit in. There were people out there in their razors and that was probably a more enjoyable drive in. We will definitely be going back!

Pretty water falls with nice, shallow areas of water to cool off in. Trail to access the waterfalls is about 5 miles and is very rocky with a few steps. High clearance vehicle with some off roading experience recommended.

Fun 4wd to the falls. Definitely dont attempt without high clearance. It was quite crowded with a partying atmosphere. Lots of camping and kids swimming. Its a beautiful place but not very tranquil if thats what youre looking for. I went a week before 4th of July and maybe it was all holiday celebration?

Great place to set up camp, or a nice picnic day. The drive up is what takes the longest with the road being what it is. Take an off road vehicle, or a truck with 4 wheel drive.

Fun oasis out in the desert. This was in the middle of June of a fairly dry year and it still had enough water to swim in. There are places to camp around the falls, but quite a few bugs, so don’t forget your repellent. Also went early on a Saturday morning and the only people out there were a couple campers until we were getting ready to leave, then a few more started to show up. The trail leading out there definitely requires a 4x4 vehicle and there’s lots of trails that branch off to go and explore. Saw some hikers making their way to the falls, but be mindful in the summer it’s quite hot and there is limited shade. But definitely recommend checking it out!

We have a Ford Explorer and it barely made it including a few bruises. The road is rough! Once there, the waterfall and ponds are beautiful. We went in June and the biting gnats were awful. There were sooo many! I would give it a five star if it weren’t for those. I say….. take the right 4x4 and visit in February or March.

We absolutely loved this place! There are a few ways to get here, and we took one of the ATV trails since we had our side by side with us. The place is beautiful and fun for everyone to enjoy the water. We did some cliff jumping into the waterfall pool below and it was awesome! The only bad thing about this place is that there are a lot of gnats and biting flies so I recommend bringing lots of bug spray or other type of insect repellent for before and after playing in the water. If you can get past the bugs, the place is awesome to visit.

Drove to Toquerville Falls on a late Wednesday morning in May. The road is very rough and there are several small ledges to navigate. High clearance 4wd and experience in offroad driving is highly recommended. I have a 2016 Sprinter 4x4 with open diffs and we made it with a few moments of "excitement." A Subaru Outback was in front of us but they had to stack rocks throughout the drive to get over obstacles. The falls were not crowded and several families were able to enjoy themselves without being on top of one another. Great experience

This is a pretty amazing place in the middle of nowhere, with fun trails to take you in and out, on either a side x side, jeep, or a dirt bike. I highly recommend the trail with about 30 creek crossings, boulders and all.

This is a super fun destination if you are into a little offroading or dirt biking. We make this an annual ride each year when we come down to St. George. We ride the toquerville twister trail and come across the falls about halfway through the ride. The loop is about 23 miles depending on your route and is moderate with a handfull of difficult sections. There are also a dozen or more river crossings that vary in difficulty.

3 shelves on this trail about a foot high. Rocky the first 2.5 miles and then smoothes out after. 5 miles total to the falls. The falls are beautiful and there are many campsites.

This is an amazing place to see. However, a 4 wheel drive, high clearance vehicle is recommended. The dirt road is not maintained so its rutted, rocky, and steep at times.

January 5th 2022. Trail was muddy but fun. Has a few steps that need negotiation. Falls is worth the drive though just under 5 miles once you leave the pavement. Two of the hills are around a 11 to 12 degree grade.

4 wheel drive is mandatory in my opinion. Ground clearance can be an issue.Very rocky sections. Potential for flash floods. Approximately 5 miles to falls from town via steep and rocky sections of road. I thought it was worth the drive. I did get caught in the rain. Egress was intense.

Listen to the reviews that say you need 4wd and clearance, you most definitely do! It’s slow going and rough. But that’s what we love about Jeeping! When you get to the falls it’s so worth it! There were lots of people there and the camaraderie was great! It had rained all day the day before and we were told that was why the water was muddy. I don’t know for sure but it was still a cool sight to see!

DON`T GO IF YOU DON`T HAVE A 4X4!!!!!I read some comments here saying that you could go with a conventional car so me and my boyfriend believed them and tried to go in a Jeep Patriot. THIS PEOPLE MUST BE JOKING OR THEY WORK FOR AN INSURANCE COMPANY, thats the only explanation!!!!Its hard for a 4x4 to get there, but for a regular car its just OUT OF QUESTION. After realizing that, we both left the vehicle and tried to take a walk to the falls (which was supposed to be a 1h30min walk), but the road was so rough that we couldnt make it. It end up being a nightmare just because we believed some people who said a normal clearance car could make it.

Just an amazing place. Trail in has some challenging spots, but my Subaru did fine. I wouldnt recommend doing it in a 2wd, or car. You need high clearance. Its also hot in Aug.

The falls were beautiful. The lower pool smelled of urine. I guess thats to be expected because there are no bathroom facilities. High clearance recommended. 4x4 is nice peace of mind. There are some trails that are for atvs only. Dont take a truck through those trails. It can get very dangerous.

As many others have stated, 4x4 is ideal! There are some drags of the road that are easy and relatively flat. But the tricky parts and rocky/bumpy parts require 4x4! We have a 4Runner and used H4 for most of the drive except the stickier/bumpier roads where we engaged L4 and multi terrain for mogul/rock.The water is pretty clear! It’s not potable but you can swim in it, at least most do. It’s very refreshing. I recommend bringing some Tevas or water shoes! The bottom pools are easily accessed from the side

DON’T GO, unless you have a 4X4!!!It’s a really nice falls in a beautiful setting and the drive is fun but it’s popularity and people taking the wrong vehicles is ruining the road.I took my stock Supercrew F-150 and that’s the BARE minimum for entry, others can make this drive easier. I won’t take this truck again.Beautiful destination but be responsible don’t ruin the road the the next person...
