Because booked fast track which meant we didn’t have to queue On a Saturday night which worked well. Shame cannot order beers at the bar as you have to have waitress service so waited about 20 mins for a beer.Golf was good. 5 of us 2 games. Luckily we have been before because there was no instruction on how to play or use the score screen.
What an appalling service they have and the food is terrible like im not even a fussy eater but its disgusting tried variety of things on the menu no one liked it and it takes 1.5 hrs to come to the table and if you are thirsty and need water you cnt buy at the bar you have to order to the table, so if you’re lucky it will come before you’re dehydrated. Wont be visiting again.
The Golfing was fun, but we had to wait almost 2 hours for a bay! Was not told how long the wait was going to be on arrival.During our wait we ordered food at bar (no table serviceand was told they had run out of food and couldnt order the food we wanted, we had to settle for wings and chips which came out wrong (was bought bbq and ordered buffalo I didnt complain because there was an obvious lack of staff. Tables were all pilled up with dirty dishes, we had to clean the dishes off our own table and request someone to come wipe it. Food was not hot and we had to ask for serviettes. Staff were all young and noticeably not interested in giving anyone any proper customer service. Overall a very disappointing visit, I wont be rushing back.
Upon arrival we were told there was a 1 hour wait. We waited for 2 and a half hours in which we saw many booths available and no one using them. I went and found staff to ask why the booths weren’t filled and after they had finished there chat they finally acknowledge i was standing there. They said that they give out 10 minute slots per booth for people to come and use it and then they reassign the booth. We sat at the tables indoors watching 3 booths available for over 30 minutes!!The staff were standing around chatting and flirting behind the desk. The tables were not cleaned between use and when food arrived we asked for some cutlery and napkins and no one ever returned with them!After speaking to other people around us they were not impressed either. This experience was not enjoyable and we left the queue and got refunded.
Don’t bother. Was there for 3.5 hours before we got a game when they said it was an hour wait time. Drinks take 30 mins to come, run by kids basically everyone’s just walking around. When you get on the bay no one serves you. Top golf has gone downhill it’s a poorly run company
Nothing cleaned, golf clubs never sanitised and even at the bare minimum food doesnt even come with napkins. Got sick here after not having ways to sanitise my hands. Youd think for a place of this calibre with so much shared equipment theyd know to clean up.
Can’t complain about the actual gameplay experience - it’s TopGolf at the end of the day, you know what you’re getting.However my 1 star review is due to the utterly shocking service you receive when ordering drinks. We ordered 6 plates of food and 2 drinks, the food came within 10 minutes and the drinks took over 42 minutes to come (even with us asking every 10 minutes or so where our drinks we’re).They will have on average 5 servers standing around the bar just chatting, looking at 1 person who is responsible for making drinks for 60 odd bays? The lack of efficiency is shocking, not to mention the managers who have no real role at TopGolf just walk around doing nothing when they could be behind the bar.Even with a 45 minute wait for drinks, the app was still accepting orders and we we’re told that they’re not allowed to pause the online orders - why? Greed!But do you know the stupid thing? They could make so much more money if they had more bar staff making the orders rather than each bay only having time to order 1 drinkBy all means go and play, the playing experience is fine however if you want to drink - just bring a flask with you
Extremely busy on my visit with families, we waited for over 40 minutes for bay, so Id recommend a more simple range than the setup at Topgolf if you are looking for game improvement, rather than a family day out.The prices are not what Id call cheap, whether it is for a bucket of balls or for food and drink.
NOT WORTH THE HYPE. 25 MINUTE WAIT WAS ACTUALLY 3 HOURS.I went to topgolf yesterday for the first time as I’ve heard people talk about it for years and I am utterly shocked at the service I received. We arrived at 2:20 with a queue going out of the door and down the ramp. There was no indication of how long we’d be waiting, your just joined max after AN HOUR we finally reached the front of the queue where we filled in our details, paid and were told a bay would be a 25 minute wait and we’re number 5 in the queue. So we got some drinks and went and sat down. The online queuing system is great, we were only number 5 in the queue for about 10 minutes and jumped from 5 to 2 within 20 minutes. We were all starving but didn’t want to order food as the viral queue seemed to move quickly and we were told 25 minutes. We were number 2 in the queue for AN HOUR!! Again we didn’t want to order food as we didn’t think we would be waiting long and you have to order food to your table number. After that hour we moved to number 1, and that was another hour wait!! By this point we had been waiting 3 hours and were five minutes away from walking out and not even bothering with a refund. When we went to complain to staff they couldn’t be less interested and told us that if someone comes in and fast tracks the queue then they are automatically pushed to the front. When we looked at fast track prices they were £140 on top of what we’d already paid!! So people were able to turn up, see the queue and pay stupid amounts of money to jump to the front… with no regard to people who had been waiting hours. it’s absolutely shocking! Just a sick money making scheme.The staff were utterly useless, all very young just standing around in groups chatting, no urgency about them and when you were trying to move about the venue they just stood in the way and didn’t have the courtesy to move, just glared you down. Whilst we were sat in the bar area we would watch tables be completely empty for 45 minutes at a time and when asked the staff just shrugged and had no excuse or reason for this.Finally at 5:30 we were given our table number and headed to our bay, walking past 6 empty bays in the process. Once we were in our bay playing we had a great time, able to order food and relax but it definitely wasn’t worth the wait and I will not, or recommend anyone to return again.
Long wait to get a bay (after queuing 30 minutes, we were told it was an hour and a half wait on a Saturday afternoon). Food was ok, but we waited 40 minutes to get our drinks as the bar seemed understaffed.The game itself was a lot of fun and a good way to spend time with friends. I would go at a quieter time to avoid the long wait time though
First of all when we arrived to the venue there was no indication of the waiting time even the queue was quite long. We decided to wait it out.After 50 minutes we got to the front of the queue at which point the front of staff member asked whether we wanted to play upstairs or downstairs. We asked about the difference and the waiting time in general. He said theres not much difference and the waiting time shouldnt be long, so we decided to pick an upstairs bay. We were number 9 in the queue waiting to get a bay upstairs.At this point we set down at the bar and ordered some food and drinks. 30 minutes later I went to check on our drinks and they couldnt find our order. Without an apology, the girl at the bar said shell redo the order. When we got the drinks 2 out of 5 of them were flat so we asked to change them at which point they gave us the wrong drink so we had to go back again. Still no apologies...2.5 hours in waiting, (in the meantime we moved to number 7 in the queue because we heard someone leavewe were eager to find out why is it taking so long.So when we decided to ask someone they informed us that they have 10 fast track groups HOURLY, which would obviously bump us back in the queue. I understand that, as they paid for fast track, however, I also just found out at this point that they have a big group event booked for the upstairs bay, which they also failed to mention earlier when asked where we wanted to go. We were offered little assurances and no alternative, our queue number shortly shot up to 23, from 7!At this point we decided to cut our losses and get a refund. The staff at reception desk gave us a refund. Again, no apologies... They were petty enough to deduct the £2 trial membership though!I appreciate that it was a busy day, however, there was plenty of staff just lingering around the bar and various places chit-chatting. All this wouldnt have been a problem if we were advised about the potential waiting time with all the fast track guests and the large bookings. Communication is very important. Also if they would just apologised at least once, just to show that they care.. even just a little bit.All in all we travelled 1.5 hours to wait for 3 hours at TopGolf. Spent £150 to get £110 of that back and went home...Left a lasting impression...
Whilst the activity itself is quite fun - customer service and wait times are abysmal. Definitely need to book in advance (which is what we do), but the bar staff and food takes too long to serve.
An amazing experience! This was not my first time attending this venue and it probably wont be my last. The energy of the staff was brilliant, along with their patience in teaching us how to handle the clubs and other skills needed for the game. The food was excellent. There was lots of it and it was cooked to a great quality. I like the feature of not necessarily having to play in a certain order and still having your points count. Furthermore, Im fond of the manual point system that acts as a failsafe if the scanners in the holes are acting faulty.
Always a fun time to be had at Top golf.Service from all the staff is always served with a smile. Facilities are always great and clean whatever bay you are allocated. Highly recommend Topgolf to anyone and is a great venue for all the family!
Great palce to have fun day and night here. We had good time with this facility. I suggest air circulation to be improved in restrooms. Smell here was over powering. Small improvements makes facility better.
Not been for a while but thoroughly enjoyed our time here today. Played 2 games each,had a nice breakfast bap and drinks served by friendly staff. Only suggestion i would make is being able to book slots online rather than having that queueing system at the door

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Bailey the duty manager is not willing to listen to the customers at all. We have been regular customers for years and never experienced this before. Traveling from Dubai where the customer service at Top Golf is top notch, its absolutely ridiculous here.
Really fun experience. Only issue is some things should be given to customers as common sense. In particular, handwipes so you can start eating after putting and straws.
We took my boy for some food a couple of games and sat down to order food and drinks whilst waiting for the games and just sat there for ages whilst large groups of staff just stood there chatting. we then could see 5 trays of drinks on the bar about 6 feet away from us and the group of 4 staff just stoof there near the kitchen door chatting. our drinks were sat there for 5 minutes so I just got them myself.Same again upstairs at the bay. ordered food and drinks and after 15 mins the lady came back to say card payment hadnt gone through. so i paid again and then waited another 15 minutes for my hot wings to turn up. but we still hadnt had any drinks after 30 minutes of playing on a very hot day. again we could see the drinks sat on the bar for several minutes so told a member of the team hi the drinks we ordered 30 minutes ago are just sat in the bar she said I just need to deal with one more thing and I will sort it for you. the team member then got back into their 3 way conversation with work colleagues and after another 5 minutes i just walked past the 3 of them went downstairs and got the drinks for myself.will probably never return due to the lack of customer service. loads of young staff acting like its a social club rather than a job and no noticeable management keeping them in check.
Top Golf is a good place for some fun and a quick bite. The place is popular so there maybe queues to get in. The golf range is good fun for both beginners and pros. Just be warned food may come late. They had run-out of milk for our milkshake so the drinks came just as we were about to finish.
For someone who’s a regular customer, I’m really disappointed with my last visit. I paid for the games only to be told the payment hadn’t gone through and to pay again. I’ve now found out I’ve been charged twice and trying to call them not once have I been able to get through. I watch the staff hear the phone ringing and completely ignore it. As well as this, you order food and have to remind staff over an hour later about the order they forgot as they’re so busy!? I shouldn’t need to visit again to be getting my refund, I need someone to contact me immediately.
Terrible experience!! I paid for a bay on fast track, dont bother, its no quicker and nothing extra given. Once we were in the golf bay we tried to order food and drinks, this was an ordeal, eventually, after an hour, someone came andsaid the order was coming, BUT they didnt have the drinks we ordered so we compromised. Very slow, food cold, not a good experience for a birthday celebration 😕
Perfect place to have some fun and catching up with friends.The duty manager Sylvester was very kind to show us how to play the game and hit correctly, he had some really good tips for us.The food is lovely but overpriced.Definitely coming back soon.
Expected to wait on a summer weekend but Christ we were in queue for 4 hours! We could see 5 bays had been empty for over an hour and the staff said it was reserved for an event and that if they didn’t show in 10 mins they would be cancelled (which didn’t happen). We were told on sign in that wait was an hour, the. It changed to 3 then 4 all staff saying they didn’t know or it wasn’t their responsibility. I wouldn’t bother going unless you’re a bay of 5 event reserving the site for 3 hours or more tbh
There is always some issue with this place. Either the food takes more than 1.5hrs to be served or the beers taste funny. Today we ordered Heineken beers from the tap and they tasted extremely funny. We had one sip and complained and the manager, Bailey, refused to do anything and talked back in a really rude way. I would not recommend this place
Recently this place has gone downhill big time.Arrived at 4pm on Saturday to a short queue as I decided to take my partner for her birthday before out 9:00pm dinner reservations.On the door I was told the wait would be just over an hour.FOUR HOURS LATER, we got to play and while we waited this four hours, also waited an hour for Nachos as we were starving after not expecting the wait. We watched tons of customers who arrived after us, playing before us and spoke to one couple who said they didnt use the fast track system, so why we waited so long I will never know.I waited at the bar for 10 minutes on my own while 5-6 staff members gossiped and laughed before the bar became busy and the staff began serving everyone but myself. When I pointed out that I was still waiting (Debit card in hand on display on counter), the staff said they thought I had been served.Once we got to play finally, half of the balls didnt register scores even though they scanned on the machine and were clearly going into pockets. The staff said this happens and that there is nothing they can do. Most other players around us were all sat eating for the hour that we played for, which explains why the wait is so long. The website states two hours or two games. Why is this not policed by management to allow everyone to play? People are waiting four hours to play golf while others that have a bay are eating and not even playing the game.EXTREMELY unhappy with the service. A WASTED day and in total a waste of around £80. It seems if you actually want to play, you have to book fast track online which costs money, doesnt reserve a bay and doesnt provide any free games.
Really good fun. Pretty busy towards the evening but even then it doesnt take long to get into a game. Games are cheap - £8 a game for 20 balls, plus £2 for a 30 day membership. Ive been a few times now and enjoyed myself, definitely considering lifetime membership!I cant speak of the food since Ive not had any, but it does look and smell good!
The problem I have with top golf is that there is no structure.We arrived on Sunday around 13:15 and waited in the queue to register our names. When we spoke to the lady she informed us we would be 17th in the queue. We asked how long would the wait be roughly and she said she “didn’t know as there is no time limit on the bays & these guys have been here for 3 hours so it’s up to when they decide to leave”.I think that is so poor to not have a limit on bays. When we looked up we saw people just sitting on the bays drinking around the table and not actually playing a game. There are plenty tables outside and inside to sit and eat. I don’t think it’s fair that you could potentially wait hours ( which we did for a game.We finally got a text that our bay was ready at 16:48. When we got upstairs, there was at least 9 bays free.Which brings me to my next point, they don’t release bays until staff have gone to check if they are empty. The last time I came here we watched 6 empty bays for 20mins until someone released it. And no, there was no cleaning involved.My last point is the cleanliness. The whole time we were here from 13:15 until we went up to our bay, the tables had not been cleaned. The same cups and food was sitting on the tables for hours. We watched many staff members come out to bring food and drinks and not once were they tended to.
Came on a Friday night and after waiting 30 mins just to book in, then expect to wait almost 3 hours to get to play (3.5 hours in total). In the meantime, it takes over 1 hour to get a drink and almost 2 hours to get any food, with zero apologies, just ‘we’re busy’ when there are numerous empty tables. They even lost our friends order and by the time they realised, they had ran out of food!! They were told they would have to contact customer service and wait 3-5 days for a refund! Never received such ridiculous service.
We planned to come and enjoy a night a top golf, we sat down at table 12 at 8:30 and ordered food and drinks, an hour later nothing arrived, we finally got our drinks an hour and a half later after we ordered, however still no food. Another Hour was passed so after over 3 hours was completely not acceptable after discussing with the manager on shift, she advised they had lost our food and we had no dinner. We waited another 20 minutes for a replacement after 20 minutes we was told we couldn’t have any of are ordered food but they could offer us some cold chips and onion rings.I will never return to this awful venue
Had a team meeting today at top golf and the lovely Di looked after about 12 of us. Went out of her way to make sure all was ok. Had a great time and absolutely loved it. Amazing service 👍
Avoid avoid avoid!!!I went to top golf with my partner and the waiting time was absolutely ridiculous. I had to wait 2 hours just to be able to play golf.I placed an order for burger and sweet potato fries and the food came burnt and freezing cold, we asked for a refund and they refused. I don’t know how they can dish out food and prepare this to the customer looking like this. The service has gone down hill and the staff have no control over the services they are proving. I wouldn’t even waste your time going here and waiting in long queues and be served absolute dog food.
We took our kids over for a game of golf and food as we had a school insert day. Needed a few hours of fun.We had such a lovely experience and was well looked after my a member of staff called Susan. Susan what a lovely caring person you are. Just so friendly and attentive.Food was lovey and we enjoyed our games of golf.I would highly recommend it in place
Great day out! I dont even play golf but I really enjoyed it and it was easy to get into the game & be competitive. The food is decent too, the bufallo wings were especially good. I shall return ⛳🍹🍗🍔
Nice Morning/Afternoon with friends, great atmosphere and food and drinks were nice to. Recommended to anyone how wants a bit of funny and has no idea what they are doing 😂. All so plenty of people there that did know what they were doing and putting us to shame when we was watching them 🤔😂.
Have been going here for awhile & today had the rudest security guard being aggressive and using foul language over me sitting and watching my family play. Luckily ceejay (sorry if I miss speltbut she was amazing! Such quality service & looked after us all night. Special shout out to her need more staff like herself 5* for her. But the disrespect from the security was uncalled for.
Definitely a good change from your average driving range. Went during the early afternoon and it was very quiet which meant not waiting for a slot. The games are cheap and they last as long as you want them to. Only issue is that the food and drink are a little on the pricey side but youre under no obligation to purchase
14th May 2022 - upon arriving at Topgolf we was informed the queue for a game was a hour. Waited for 4 hours and was only 9th in the queue (from 27th. Joke customer service, no apologies, after waiting so long was told that this is how it usually is on a Saturday. Spent £60 on over priced drinks and no golf before deciding to leave.Horrible experience and cannot even comment on the game itself.Update.. Finally "got" our Bay at 7pm. Over 5 hours wait for a game. Would have really appreciated a semi accurate estimate of the queue time. Waste of a day.
We visited here at 5pm this evening for my husbands birthday - a gift from our daughter. it was really busy but some bays sat empty for at least 20 minutes. There were 46 people in front of us, however 3.5 hours later we were still only 8 in the queue. We were told it should only be another 40 minute wait and there isn’t a time limit on how long groups use the bay. People have ten minutes to get to their bay meaning we had up to another possible 80 minutes wait. The website says two games or two hours. The staff were unaware of this rule.We left without playing, but with the promise of a refund by Grant, the front of house manager - we are still waiting for it to come through, with the additional promise that our daughter would receive a refund for her £25 gift voucher.You can fast track the queue for £35 but this only jumps you to the front, you still have to pay for membership, £2 for 30 days and £8 pp, per game. Why you can’t book a bay is beyond me. At least two other families walked out when we did.What should have been a fun night out was ruined by a poorly organised venue with staff that don’t know company policy on the length of time at a bay. “They’ve booked an event” being ghe excuse for bays being used for three hours.
Came here at 2pm and was told at the entrance when signing up for a game was a guaranteed 1hr wait however, Ive been here for the past four and a half hours and Im waiting here and there 10 people ahead of us. When asked members at the counter they seemed clueless and couldnt help . When ordering at the bar staff got all the order wrong. And when we re-order at table service the staff member was lost and didnt know how the tablet worked while waiting for a slot to be free it took another 1hr for 6 drinks to arrive. When I chase up the staff member he couldnt remember we ordered drinks and was just standing at the bar not asking the bar staff whats happening. I had to go up myself and recorder the drinks.Now its 5.55pm and Im still waiting with 10 people ahead .If I knew the wait was gonna be this long i would of went somewhere else. Not only I felt lied to from the start but Ive also received slow service and un-experience staff knowledge.As Ive have made plans for somewhere else at 6.30 meaning I purchased a yearly subscription and wasnt able to use it as the queue been so long.
Staff had informed that it would be a 1 hour wait to get a bay, which we agree. But have waited over 4 hours and still were not given a bay. Services for food and drinks were slow whilst we waited.Group decided to leave as we had another booking in the evening. If staff had been honest with the wait time then the group could have re-arranged for something else. Absolutely unacceptable and dishonest.
Great golf experience, the bays work well and ideal for group socials. Love how it remembers past performances on your card, rewards you with free games and generally very well-functioning.The food is okay. All of our burgers were a little dry and the service via the app is somewhat slow and soulless - 40 minutes for food and even the staff bringing the food from the bar were mute!
What a fantastic venue. It doesnt matter on skill level, the facilities are large and modern and good quality food and drink! When on a Friday for a company team building day and it was fantastic for all. Would recommend for everyone!
Amazing place for golfers and not, live sports great crew for players and serving very good food. Fun for any age and the entire family!… nice pro shop!
Went on a Saturday and booked ahead so we could get straight in (which was needed as people at the back of the queue when we got there were 29th in the queue). If you want to play 4 games then it works out better to get a lifetime membership so we did that. There were 4 of us there for a friends birthday and we all ordered a burger. After around an hour and a half, only 3 burgers were brought out and we had to ask 4 different members of staff to look into it before anyone did and even then it took another 45 minutes to get the last burger (which was awful). The golf itself is really fun though so 3/5.
It didnt have a Que!!Its top golf, it is what it is. Service was friendly and quick. Clean place.
Not as advanced of a system as I imagined. You have to go get your own balls and manually tee them. The ball scanner is iffy and the score screen isnt intuitive and I can compare it to a cheap bowling screen. People keep screwing off and interrupting players games. For the amount of staff working here, most just stand around. Used and dirty dishes just sit right next to the bays. Food is mediocre and microwaved. Go to the States if you want to play real Top Golf, not this 2nd rate knock off.
Really fun and enjoyable for the whole family. Free parking available at front. We booked two booths together. Was amazing as always.The food was hot and nice and yummy.Staff were very friendly and helpful.NHS workers get 50% off on food and games.
Loved being able to organise a night out. They staff were super friendly and each bay was separated. We had 6 people in our group and there was hardly any room to move around. But it felt safe to take off our masks.I would definitely go again.
