Topcu Kebap - Turkish restaurant in Antalya, Turkey
A local guide recommended Topcu, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the piyaz, kofte and kabak tatlisi. Hands down one of the best meals we had in all of Turkey.Service was abit questionable though - we saw some girls that were flirting with the waiter get their order before us even though we came first.
One of the best kebap and Iskender i have tried in Turkey
❌ Dont go there if you are tourists.🤡 Once you choose the dish, the waiter will pull out from his pocket a piece of paper with size and price. Apparently whats on the menu is only the price for the "smallest" size! Food was cold and dry.In the meantime a French family came and soon after the gig by the waiter, they left.
Fresh and delicious food! Sis kebab’s were a highlight (as is the bean side dish). Feels much more like a locals place, despite the location. Fairly priced. Highly recommended.
Tasty food, though it took about 20 minutes till we got it and the price on the menu was per 120 gram which was not mentioned on the menu.
One of the best places in Antalya to try real traditional Turkish food
Good place for a quick lunch, the food is simple and tasty, decent portions, fair price, fast service. Enjoyed my kebab and pumpkin dessert 👍
Döner kebap was good. Meat in Iskender was a little bit tough. Waiters and the owner were so kind.
Omg simply an outstanding place. The onwer was very accommodating and he presented a complimentary dish for us. The hotel has been running for 3 generations. The menu is limited but whatever it has is absolutely delicious. The hotel is very affordable. I highly recommend Topcu Kepab. After lunch you can also shop in the old bazaar.
4th generation family restaurant authentic local Turkish food, best quality, really tasty, excellent friendly service and very reasonable prices 👌
tasty and fresh food for quick eat (full of locals, servers and cooks always busynice servers, good prices and no scams. recommendable :)
Wonderful authentic Doner Well worth the time to find it. Courteous and prompt service !
The best kebab I ate so far in Turkey, the meat was delicious, the service great. I recommend this place.
Just a nice Kebab-store with friendly service.And...... very good kebab.
This restaurant Topcu kebap exists since 1885. They have won few medals (showing on front window).Very tasty lamb kebab (I have ever tasted in my lifeI ate yesterday. Today I took kefte and piaz entree. Prices are very reasonable and less expensive than 100 m on cumhuriat ave.All waiters are very polite, humble, customer oriented and few understand a little bit English.
Best doner in Antalya. From the outside it looks like a little hole in the wall but inside there’s a lot of room. The staff are very nice 👍🏻
Simple menu, but you don’t need anything else. Great quality and a very reasonable price.
Best place for döner and meat in Antalya since 1885. First restaurant of Antalya. Eating tzatziki with kebab is a favorite habit of the customers of this restaurant. Famous with Arabian Kadayif and Tulumba Dessert
Small portions, the staff can’t explain anything in English. The taste of diner isn’t nice
Nice place full of locals. Food was so good I took 2 doner!
This is one of the oldest restaurants in the old town and we went here on the recommendation of a local guide. What a lovely recommendation it turned out to be!We had Sis Kofte, Doner, Tahini Piyaz and Aynar. Everything was lip smackingly delicious and was gobbled up within minutes. The meat dishes were very subtly flavoured which was perfect. Prices were very reasonable too. Only disappointment was that the pumpkin dessert had finished by the time we got there so we couldnt eat that.I would highly recommend this place for your next meal when in the old town.
Fantastic dining place at very reasonable prices. Super location amongst the shops abd close to old town.
An Old Restaurant in the city center, seems to be a landmark from 18 hundreds. The food ingredients are good but i deduct 2 stars.-1 star for the few food quantity, i ordered the famous Köfte dish and it turns out to be 4 small portions.-1 star for taking long to serve the food, we waited for 10 to 15mins.
For my experience, its the best turkish doner you will eat in all antalya, there dine in is okay ,but they have out side seats too, there tea is good too, Ill back to eat again( I recommend you put service fee in the manu dont make it surprise).
The best kebap I have eaten since today. The taste of the meat is so delicious and intensive together with the own fat sauce of the meat that you do not need any sauce or side dishes. The service was also good and friendly.
the best döner kebap in my life !!! never had this taste of meat👌🏻
I did read reviews and decided to go here, maybe this place was good , Im a kebab lover and I did order it, that was worst and smallest kebab that I ever had :( not fresh bread mixed with lamb and so much ketchup no salad... and service is bad, I did ask for menu of drinks and they went like what do you want!!! Fanta!!! Coca cola!!! Sprite!!!! That was so rude. Will not recomend.
This place is one of the oldest still going restaurants not only in Antalya but in Turkey and all those years shows in the taste of the food served here.the menu is very simple yet perfectly executed. the şiş kebabs tastes perfect, the Döner is done in the Antalyan way and tastes good, the Antalyan piyaz is perfect aswell. and to top it all the staff is very friendly. the settings places are also great with good vibe.this is the place where you cant go wrong whenever you go.. recommended and the first to come to my mind whenever I am in that area.
Great food, great hospitality and reasonably priced! Tables are always filled, and the staff try their best to accommodate. If you do decide to eat here, ask to sit in the courtyard. Great experience overall.
Very nice place
very authentic place, I advise you to try Iskander kebab - a traditional dish. Also very pleasantly surprised by the prices - very tasty in the historical center of Antalya
They serve doner and meatballs, and they really know what they’re doing. Recommended by a local Turkish friend who knows the best places. I’ve never had a piyaz (bean saladlike that with tahin, but surprisingly good. Also the kabak tatlisi (pumpkin dessert with tahin and walnutswas perfect.
This place was recommended to me by the proprietor at another local restaurant when I asked for a place that would have the famous local pumpkin dessert, even out of season. He said his family go here when they want kebabs. Admittedly, the restaurant was full of what seemed to be local Turkish people. Which is why it was even more confusing when the food was utterly mediocre. The piyaz was not even half as good as I had other places (like Dikkat Et). The kebab was so flavorless it required salt and the bread underneath was absolutely drenched in oil. The kofte was a really small portion. Even the service was not very good. The only redeeming quality was, in fact, the pumpkin dessert which was excellent. Definitely not worth everything else, though. There are other, much better restaurants nearby.
Best kebab in the world!!
The most delicious Döner i have ever eaten! Order "Döner" and " Tahinli piyaz".Deserts are great here also.Surely you will enjoy the meal👍🥰
Very good! Great service, amazing food. Very flavorful and delicious beans salad with tahini sauce, juicy kofte (meatballs cooked on skewersand good iskender kebab. Definitely recommend it for midday meal. Place is open since 1885
They only have a few things on the menu so they spend time getting it right. Iskendar and meatballs definitely tasted good. Really easy to get to near old town and staff was really quick with the food and service.
very tasty kebab, Im full, so I highly recommend it. keep in mind that only kebabs are on the menu
I asked for traditional Turkish kebap and thats what the waiter offered me. The meat was the best I had in my entire life. Im not a big fan of lamb but that meat was just incredible. Little bit crunchy and super juicy. Combined with crunchy pita that meal made my day.
I came to old town with the family and stopped at Topçu Kebab. I was attended by Koray and welcomed by Tankut. Wonderful restaurant recommended to us by next door Haci Muatafa Han Patisserie (yummy baklava). Please try the piyaz at Topçu Kebab famous only in Antalya old town. Wonderful hospitality, clean environment and warm-hearted people. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Very good food, definitely you need to try it!
Number 1 in Antalya! Real authentic experience and very very delicious food. Dont miss out of köfte and piyaz with tahin
Real and very good kebab in Antalya. Friendly service, low prices. I recommend Iskander kebab.
Beef kebab cooked on charcoal!! Not sure if this is common in Turkey, but was the 2nd time I had the opportunity and it was definitely worth it! It’s about 5€ per portion, but I wish the portions had more meat. Had to order 2 portions, salad and fries, to feel I had enough food.
The food was authentic and excellent quality. Price was reasonable for the location. Easy to miss since store front is small but there is a large back room/outdoor patio for dining.
Very family friendly and cozy tables. Very easy to find on maps. The staff is very friendly but the taste was less than expected except the curba (best curba I had in Turkey. It is bit more expensive than other restaurants but you get five stars service in return.
The best restaurant we visited during our stay at Antalya. In fact, we went there twice on consecutive days. There isnt much to say about the food, only that its just right on every level. The place only really serves three main dishes, Iskender, Kebap and Döner, which are served into a photogenic dish, which might be regarded as being a tad small for some folks, but I believe its just right for the oily dish.Despite being in the scam-filled touristic area, the restaurant retains its authentic Turkish touch, which follows throughout, from the dish to the decor. Staff are friendly and professional, too.
We have been waiting for 40 minutes now. Tables that arrived later than us are already served and they are leaving the restaurant now. I cant comment for the food because I am still waiting for it!Edit: Got the food. Şiş köfte is indeed delicious but doesnt worth waiting for this long.
expensive as well as the quantaty was littel .I do not recommend it .
I tried the combination of main dishes, one lamb and the other beef. Both were awesome! 👌❤ I also tried 2 types of salad, both also yummy. Nice staff.
