Top One Pot Xinyi Restaurant - Hot pot restaurant in Taipei, Taiwan
Top One Pot Xinyi Restaurant in Taipei
Description
Privilege
Its a nice Taiwanese hot pot restaurant. I highly recommend coming here.
Disappointing hot pot place. If you want instagramable food pics then this place might be for you (e.g., hanging sliced meat from stands or rose shaped meat). But If you are looking for tasty food, nice hot pot broth, and high quality food-I would suggest you avoid this place.
MoreParking is IMPOSSIBLE here at this branch on weekends. Had to spend 25 minutes to look for a single spot in a parking lot and it’s $60 an hour and pretty far from the restaurant.
MoreExtremely slow and chaotic service! Not enough flavor in the mala soup. No system in the service, not good! There are so many hot pot restaurants in the same area that are way better both in flavor and value for money!
MoreIncredible food. Perfect service. Impressive ambient. For anyone who is looking for a unique culinary experience, the Top One Pot Restaurant should be the first address to consider.
Moredefinately worth going! i would recommend this place to go with a few people, bc the portion is pretty big! so u would be able to taste more platters if u go with several ppl!
MoreDelicious broth and other hotpot ingredients are nice quality. Will definitely com visit again!
MoreMy favorite hot pot restaurant in Taipei. I know youre generally not meant to drink the broth (only for cooking the foodbut theirs is so dang good I cant help myself! Their marbled beef is delicious. You absolutely must try it. The gourd slushie is also quite delicious, but there are also complementary yogurt slushies at the end. The ambiance is radiant, with traditional and modern elements. Its a bit on the pricey side but honestly is so worth the cost. Its also a great place to take people who are visiting Taiwan or have just moved here!
MoreThe ambiance is amazing. Top notch. Feels like you are Chinese royalty. The waitress was so attentive and had a great attitude. The presentation of the seafood platter had so much pizazz... it had dry ice and all the steam rolling off. The quality of the meat was very good. Great marbeling on the beef. Lastly the flavor of the spicy ma la hot pot was good but could be light for those who like more of a spicy punch.
MorePretty OK hotpot restaurant -- 60% style 40% substance. The appetizer which consists of this sheets of tofu "paper" that you can paint on is pretty fun.
MoreCame here with a Chinese friend thankfully that led the ordering experience. Ill do my best to summarize what you should get depending on your group size. We went for the spicy base pot. Got the cheapest beef, pork belly and then veggies which was actually so much food. For two people we were quite stuffed. On top of that theyre rice is so good and we also got meatballs and their coconut mango smoothie. Super good all around and was one of the best hot pot meals of my life.
MoreAlways good choice for mala hotpot.
Had a wonderful experience at Top one pot! The food was absolutely delicious and the price was really reasonable too! I had an accident with scalding my finger and the store manager 溫凱鈞,actually went above and beyond to ensure that I was seeking the appropriate treatment for it (burn cream and rapid cooling to relief pain). He also constantly checked up me to see if theres any other help he could render. Overall, an absolutely wonderful experience where the hospitality shown by the store manager manage to easily overwhelm any discomfort and pain from the scalding incident.
MoreGood beef, fresh seafood set, yummy hot pot. Service-minded staff. Recommended!
We came over at almost 9 pm on a Sunday evening and the place was still jam packed with people. The ambience is really cool. The food overall is good but not outstanding. For the price we paid, I would expect more. We had the chicken broth and the mala pot. The mala is not really spicy. We also did the assorted seafood balls. Was ok. Not really fine. The balls tasted a little hard and lumpy. The assorted dumplings was much better. They also had this tofu skin plate where you write stuff in it and then cook the skin. Really fun and tasted really good. Nice place to come to because it opens till 1 am.
MoreThe food at the place was not very good. The variety of sauces were very few, no sesame oil, no salt, or pepper. Lighting of the place was also quite bad, hard to see if the meat was properly cooked, but I think this might be the cozy ambience the restaurant is going for so its fine.Service was also not the best as waiters/waitresses took quite long to clear the empty plates from our table. Table was quite full because we ordered quite a bit of dishes. But this may also be because when we went it was peak hour so the staff may have been too busy to notice. Asked for WiFi password, waiter said he would get it for us, but didnt return with it. Staff may not be as attentive as expected. We had the chicken soup and it was not bad, flavour was good. Quality of meat not the best and not the worst.Overall price was reasonable.
MoreEvery dish, food is good taste, good service then you will list to go visiting again. but need to book seats in advance.
MoreDelicious and fresh food. Yummy sauces! Excellent service!
One of the best hotpot restaurant in Taipei city that you must try. I likes the mat lat (spicysoup. The ingredients are fresh, 5 stars. Please remember to make a reservation else you might have to spend some time in queue ;)
MoreVery great service and awesome food! We always take guests from out of Taiwan to come here. We even celebrated my wife’s birthday and they accommodated a special request. Highly recommend!
MoreVery delicious hot pot , amazing flavor on both the Malat and clear soup. The meat was from good cut , and so fresh. Very attentive service from the staff, they will refill the soup and other ingredients , if you are cold they bring you a blanket and they provide apron as well so you dont stain your clothes. Super happy with the meal.
MoreVery delicious meal of the day. Need reservation for the peak time.
Our friends recommendation brought us to this restaurant! Staff was vey friendly and can speak English well. The meats (beef and porkwere hi quality one. No wonder our children really enjoyed their dinner.
MoreGood food. Good service. What else do u need?
Meat Quality was good. Service was friendly and attentive.
Food was fresh but not much non meat selections
The soup base is good, though some of my family members says the mala hot pot is not spicy enough but I personally think is just good. The meat are good quality, while the beef tendons, and alike are tasty which should order if you visit. Very close to our hotel Park Taipei. Just 6-7mins walk!
MoreDecent if not highest quality meats and decidedly touristy Ancient China decor (with a massive crystal dragon no less). Excellent peppery soup base. Selection of sauces somewhat limited and at this price point, value is questionable as one is paying for the decor but overall, very good food and service
MoreFood was not bad. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed by the dinner crowd and so service was a little iffy.
MoreFresh & quality food. Staffs are very keen to provide help even at its busy hours. 1 star is put down because I invited some friends who could not use chapsticks requested for knifes & forks but this diner had no such option! Hope it has western cutlery now.
MoreReally great food and sauce for Taiwanese hot pot
Good experience and great food
We tried the spicy & chicken pot. Like other places, there is a lot of source prepared so you can customize the taste to your own like. I preferred more spicy so used the chill source. Chicken was a bit blend first but got tastier after a while. Store is made luxury style and clean.
MoreA solid hot pot restaurant, with private rooms and reasonable prices. Almost as good as Orange shabu shabu. They have a very nice sake available with a great finish.
MoreDelicious broth and tasty / fresh ingredient, really good and helpful service
Very tasty hotpot restaurant, high price/quality ratio. Dessert and icy drinks are gifts for tourists. Staffs are nice too.Recommended and will visit again next time in Taipei.
MoreVery traditional looking place. They have really great presentation of the food.Everything is paid separately, which means you have to pay for the soup, then the type of meat, then the veggies. The meat quality itself is pretty good. The end dessert is very delicious
MoreDelicious soup base. Nice ambience. We were given complimentary slushies and a taiwanese dessert after the meal. Overall a very satisfying and filling meal for the price.
MoreThe ambience is really nice. If you are a foreigner (heheheyou get a free(?meat dish. The half and half soups are a win! One is spicy and one is a chicken/herbal broth. We spent about $56 (CADand because we are Canadian, the quality and service for that price was a steal! Great place 😊
MoreExcellent food. I am Thai and have been here for 3rd time but still enjoy the food. The soup is very nice, good service, well decorated place and reasonable price.
MoreSuperb! Great service and the soup was deliciousGood meat quality
The ingredients are very beautiful and the food is fresh and delicious
Service: fast and attentiveFood: this is a very delicious hot pot I tried ever! Can really taste the quality and all ingredients are freshLocation/Environment : in the center of taipei by MRT or taxi will be good. You feel like eating inside the old Chinese palace. For those who loves Chinese traditional culture u must come here to tryPrice: its expensiveThis is my second time. If I have budget I will go back again and eat here.
MoreSuper nice soup base, and fresh ingredients!
Agree nice place but soup base wasnt as good as the Ding Wang Hotpot that I tried last week. Service was not great but not bad either. Overall nice place to sit down for hot pot with family or friends.
MoreSpacious, good service and good quality of food
I like their soup and variety of ingredients. Very good service too.
Mala soup base is a bit watery, not spicy and mala enough for us, but love their great service.
MoreVery nice food wth reasonable price
If you like some flash to go along with your food, then this may be the place for you. Me? Im all about the food, and Top One soup flavor just doesnt stack up to the other mala hot pots Ive had in Taipei. The service was also on and off. We had to ask for a glass of ice 4 times before it was finally delivered. To apologize for the error, the waiter offered to comp an extra set of yogurt shooters if we finished our current order. We didnt finish our current order, and he didnt offer anything else.It is, however, a gorgeous venue to host lunch and dinner parties with friends. They seem to be able to accommodate lots of big groups, but make sure to reserve tables in advance, especially on the weekends. What I did like was their personal sauce station, with options like minced garlic, green onions, sesame sauce, and hot sauce. They also have a great selection of seafood (scallops and shrimpto meats for your hot pot.
