Tony Luke's in Atlantic City

I had the reg Fries and boneless bbq chicken. It was pretty good. One thing I noticed was the first time we went my order had maybe 6-7 pieces and nicely sauced . We went back the next day, same cashier same chef (the 1 I could seeand my order had seriously 10-12 pieces, but they werent really sauced all over the chicken. I wish I had taken a pic for this post. 🤦🏽The one thing I didnt like was they charged me for ranch dipping as if a dipping sauce shouldnt come with any order of boneless wings. AT LEAST 1...However the food was good🤷🏽 but its the whole experience for my be hard earned pennies to be spent.

Good cheese steaks but a bit pricy. Worth a try.

I wish i could rate with No stars. The worst food i ever had. And they have all over how the chef beat Bobby flay. How? My 5 yr old nephew can cook better. The burgers had no flavor and the pull pork was disgusting. Never ever again will i visit any of the locations.

It was delicious, but it wasn’t what I ordered. There was no way I was going to wait another 20 minutes for my correct order. Tots were bangin

I wish there was an option for zero stars, I came here last year and years before and it was excellent service excellent food and this year it was absolutely disgusting. My sub was soggy within 30 minutes after taking it back to my hotel and super super salty. I am so disappointed with the Tony Luke’s food they changed their recipe and cooks !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hands down by far the worst cheesesteak on planet earth. Tasted like meat flavored water. If i wasn’t starving from a gambling bender and hadn’t paid $17 for it i would have tossed it in the trash

Cheese steak and burger came out fast. Peppers on the cheese steak are a must.Bread is great.

Just got Tony Luke’s Atlantic City. It makes the real Tony Lukes look bad. The sauce on the pizza steak and for the mozzarella sticks was so watered down you couldn’t taste it. Maybe if I could have tasted the sauce the food would have been better. Couldn’t even finish the sandwich. I have had Tony Luke’s and this was not it. For $50 I expected a lot more.

Food just nasty I ordered chicken parm and I get this dry no sauce sandwich then had to wait 10 min for a server when I took it back never again.

Awful. My local pizza place makes better cheessteaks. Chickies and petes is actually alot better than this place.The lack of actual steak on the sandwich is alarming to say the least.

Food was delicious. I have to say its one of my favorite places to eat when Im here at Tropicana.

Placed several phone calls to this location and no response. Decided to walk there and order only to fine put that employees were rude not knowledgeable and food was terrible

Sit down outside, no indoor seating. Looks a bit grungy. Sandwich was pretty good.

Horrible experience. Tasted nothing like the Tony Lukes in Philly and the dude working here was extremely rude. Asked for a manager and he said there is no manager! Also, be prepared to be told you need exact change. They werent willing to give me my change!

Tony Lukes has one of the best cheesesteaks around time and time again. Enjoy! I know I will.

Overpriced average cheesesteak and mediocre fries.

Food was not prepared correctly and we recieved 9 onion rings and was charged $7.99 i ordered a italian hoggie and received a few pieces of meat and no oil or vinegar on my hoggie.my wife ordered a pizza sub and got some meat we didnt even know what it was we didnt even go back to take it back and was charged $42.47 for this food wow what a rip off and terrible customer service

40 minutes for tater tots….they forgot it on the line and didn’t buzz the pager. The only reason I started to get annoyed is because a girl with the same order got hers in 5 minutes… I knew they were slow from my last experience but this was ridiculous. I know they were busy but they had 12 people working. Also, the tater tots were digging when I got them.

Good authentic south side philly cheese steak, gotta love it.

Pleasantly surprised that they offered a vegetarian/vegan Mixed Veggie sub. It was actually tasty. A++ for the consideration and the team member who was super polite when we placed our order!

The hot wings were just how I like them. Ate wings from here two days in a row. After tasting my wings three other family members purchased some and gave me mine back.

I was hungry and craving one of their delicious pork sandwiches yesterday afternoon. I’m local so I usually call and place an order to pick up. It’s relatively fast (around 10 mins). However, yesterday I call to place an order and the phone rings 20-25 times. I hang up and try again (20-25 rings). I’m thinking this can’t be right but I have the phone # programmed so I know it’s correct but just to double check I go online and confirm that it is indeed the right #. I call again only to hear endless rings. I’m thinking there is no way they are this busy so I park 5 blocks from the Trop and walk to the restaurant. Sure enough not a single customer in sight. Not even at the pizza place across. So, I call while I am right there and sure enough I can hear the phone ringing but no one answers it. I step to the counter and sure enough a guy immediately emerges from the back to take my order. I didn’t even feel like it at this point because I was so hungry and I didn’t want my food tampered with so I just ordered, got the food and went away not inquiring about the phone situation. We all can draw our own conclusion on why the guy wasn’t answering but I can assure you that this place is LOSING A TON OF BUSINESS for antics like that. And with everything that’s going on you would think they would be going out of their way for business not trying to avoid it. If I call there again and they don’t answer you can be rest assured that I won’t be making the trip. Who wants to wait around as opposed to having it ready when you get there. It was a totally unhappy and disappointing experience.

I went to Tony lukes in atlantic city. I was standing on line. Then someone else came up and the cashier started to take her order ...i politely said that I was here. Cashier told me I was "on the wrong side" ....clearly she could see i was standing there waiting...i dont know why she didnt tell me....so she ended up taking me next. I had an entertainment coupon buy one get one free....they told me supervisor was not there so they could not give me the deal...i asked them to call the supervisor...they told me they dont have his/her number..i asked well what if there is an emergency..no one can reach anyone?......then they put cheese on 2 of the 4 sandwiches that I asked for NO cheese.....

Went here with a group.. we all ordered Philly cheesesteaks and mozzarella sticks... waited 30 minutes.. finally got our food.. only to open it up and see they didn’t give us any Philly cheesesteaks or mozzarella sticks! They gave us 4 chicken wings each......

The best thing I can say about my Philly cheese steak there was it was filling..... kinda...... honestly, didnt look like a true Philly cheese steak at all......it Should have been called Philly Steak on a Tube Bun......small, slender, tubular looking bun......not a very big sandwich for $11.....and the taste, kinda bland, they should put a touch of Marina sauce or something on it to enhance the flavor of the tasteless meat....my girlfriend got the smashburger, poor tasting burger......Id say it was a frozen burger, nothing fresh about the stiff burger👎

Terrible experience. if i could give it less than 1 star i truly would. The subs are subpar and the fries taste like theyve been reheated (iykyk). They took all salads off of the menu but i was able to order it on doordash. my doordasher had to let me know that the salads were discontinued because no one answers the phone there. these people still charged me for the salad, but here i sit, not a single salad in sight. i tried to call and fix the issue but like i said all of a sudden they dont know how a phone works. not to mention the owner is allegedly in trouble for tax evasion, so money problems seem to be a running theme. dont waste your time or money here. there are plenty of other more professional places to eat from.

Very disappointed paid nearly $40 for 2 philly steaks & they didnt put a very small amount of cheese & when I asked for some more they wanted to put it on the side!!!! What can I do with a cold piece of cheese????

The 1st time I tried Tony Lukes was at the Borgata Casino and I was really impressed.I think it was the Brocolli Rabe / steak sandwich that just blew me away because it wasnt overly stuffed with meat or extra cheese.Sometimes more is not better.The perfect balance is the best.They have a fair price for a great sandwich and I do rate them higher than both Pats and Genos in Philly.Tony Luke is by far the best Philly Cheesesteak sandwich in the region.

We were very disappointed. Food look like it was just thrown together and tasted like it. No care at all. There was only 3 employees working (cashier, fry guy and grill guy). SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. Nothing like the other locations. Will not be back!

Ive been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks and they have gotten my order wrong all 3 times. The 4th time I was there they told me at 7pm that they not serving anymore chicken cutlets that they close at 9pm and the clam shells are already cleaned for the night.

They make a really good Philly cheesesteak. It taste 10x better than the one I had at Ginos a few months back. You can access from the boardwalk or from inside the Tropicana hotel. Pleasant customer service as well 😊

Wow dont know what all the hype is about wasnt too impressed overly priced I got a cheese steak with American cheese totally lacking in flavor. Very under staffed, very long wait times. if you want to try a real Cheesesteak come up north Exit 30 off of Route 80 place called Davies hot dogs about $5 less and the sandwich is about three times the size with peppers onions the works whatever you want no extra charge get it to go and get a side of fries comes in a lunch bag best fries in the world

Today i go to tony lukes and the ppl they have working there should be fired. They have attitudes when you ask questions then the male that worked looked like he was gonna do something to my food so I canceled my order me him had couple uncomfortable stares for whatever reason. Then I go across to Perry’s pizza and get told there is no more cheese pizza how don’t you have cheese pizza it’s either a race thing or they don’t like the jobs none of it has anything to do with me. So I would avoid these places

Came all the way from Indiana to try the philly cheese steak from here. We asked for onions mayonnaise and vinegar and oil our sandwich was plain no flavor. Sandwich tasted like frozen meat just plain nasty. We called to tell them how they didnt do our sandwich correctly and we had already left they said since we ate some of the sandwich all they will do is give us a free drink if we come back. That is ridiculous why would we want a drink in place of a 11 dollar sandwich. Never going back very disappointed in the food and service.

Food was lacking and pricey. We got one burger, one cheesesteak, and one order of fries for $30. Only one type of burger with limp toppings. Cheesesteak cannot be compared to Philly tasted like frozen steakum. Fries werent fresh. Two stars only because the food was cooked quickly.

I had a traditional cheesesteak "wit-out" tonight. First the good; the bread was fantastic, the meat tender and the food served hot and fresh. The only issue, it had NO taste what-so-ever. Totally bland, no flavor. Maybe the onions are the secret but with my acid reflux they are not an option. Maybe some sauce (Heinz 57 would have been goodbut just Ketchup and Mustard didnt add much...Salt? Anyway, at $15 for the sandwich I expected much more flavor and was very disappointed.

Really bad for the price here. Ordered a cheese steak sub with provolone and a pizza sub just to try it out.The cheese steak barely had any flavor/seasoning and the quality of the meat was subpar. Expected the pizza sub to be more flavorful because of the Mariana sauce. Boy, was I wrong. The mariana sauce was bland and tasted like it had no personality. The sub was barely toasted if they even toasted it at all.I was wondering why the place was empty when the boardwalk was really busy at the time. Even the other half of the store where the pizza business is had a decently long line while Tonys was empty.

Not having best of luck there. 1st time got a cheesesteak with provolone and cheese hardened. Second time ordered chicken cheesesteak with American cheese. The sandwich was a grilled chicken sandwich without cheese. 3 time will either be the charm or they strike out.

Horrible. The cheese steak didnt have any flavor and the hoagie was very nasty. The bread was falling apart because of all the juice that use which made it soggy and not tasteful at all. No they wouldnt get my money again its not worth it. Staff members just standing around wouldnt even wipe the table off for us. We had to clean it ourselves. I had to see what all the talk was about and believe me its nothing at all.

Just emailed the company per request today. Will update with results of 2nd try of location.---------------Why this place is even open is beyond me....way beyond. We were looking for a place to eat and we walked up the walkway to the pizza place but that pizza looked dry like it had been out way too long so we tried this place.Big mistake!We saw all the signs about how great the Cheese-steaks were and thought they must be amazing. They were not. They were tasteless! Seriously,we had the onions and all. I even waited to put ketchup on them, t get the full taste of the flavor they intended. But after a couple of bites realized ketchup would be the ONLY flavor in these very expensive sandwiches!"Where is a Steak-um?" Just an average sandwich. I went here for lunch on a break during a class. Ordered a cheese steak with mild provolone no onions. It had no flavor, still had pieces of onion and the cheese was lack luster. The guy at the register was okay at best, took my order but said very little, not even a thank you.

Every time I go to Tony Lukes. Its a tasty experience. Its not like other food brands that varies taste depending location. No, here you always get good tasting food. Have yet to experience a bad time. Once in as blue the light be wait time. But what do you expect from a good food spot?. Right, so enjoy.

Ordered 3 cheesesteaks (2 steak, 1 chickenall with onions/peppers/mushrooms that ran me $46 dollars & change. The 2 steaks were supposed to have L/T/Mayo. They didn’t. You’d think for a $15 dollar cheesesteak they’d at least be able to read a simple order. Steak was dry on top of it & cheese was scarce. AVOID!

Grabbed a sandwich with wife while walking Boardwalk. Wanted to see if as good as the one in PHL airport and Philly. A little disappointed. Wasnt as good. It was okay. Ive had better. I had cheesesteak with american cheese. Roll was fresh, the sandwich had way too much cheese. About the same amount of cheese as steak. Cant put my finger on why this steak wasnt good. I expected so much more especially with all the awards and accolades. Staff was friendly. Place was clean. Its off season so not that many people. Im giving a 3 rating because I had higher expectations for a cheesesteak.
