Tony's Italian Delicatessen in Conroe

Food was amazing, huge flavorful sandwiches. It was our first time and wont be our last. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our favorite sandwiches so far are the rueben and the Stallone, but have tried almost every sandwich and have not been disappointed in any of them. The hot sandwiches are great also. Definitely go and try it out, it is a bit out of town and lacks parking but worth the drive.

Food was great, had their special beef stew sandwich, Mama Mia!Mangia bene! They also had great music, Frank and many Italian greats!

Not only is this the best sandwich I have ever had, it is also one of the best meals I have had. Got the Lucky Luciano with peppers as recommended by the staff. The peppers and sweet Italian sausage with deli meats are perfectly balanced. Bro, and that bread.... crunchy, not hard, and soft on the inside. Sandwich is enough for two people or a meal for later.

Love the food. Need half sandwiches for small eaters. Doesnt do well as leftovers. This keeps me from going very often. Too expensive to waste half.

First impression: I walked in to clean lobby with the smell of pure goodness hits your nose. Someone immediately greeted us with a friendly “Welcome to Tony’s” from the back. Good Italian music to set the vibe right. And then the food came out, and completely rocked! Definitely will be back!

The sandwiches are delicious, service was incredible. They went out of their way to accommodate a large order, and they were the hit of the bridal suite!

Enjoy yourself or share, the fully loaded sandwiches are huge and beyond yummy. Great place to stop in or pick up to go. Enjoy!

Tonys is the type of place everyone wants around the corner from their house; serving up authentic italian sandwiches! Almost all of their sandwiches are named after notable Italian people, (The DiCaprio, The DeNiro, The Pacino, etc.which provides an interesting twist to this joint. The Meatball sandwich is fantastic and a must try!

I just left, been wanting to go for a long time. I am speechless.. I had high expectations obviously, but I was blown away by how good it actually was. I got the chicken parm sandwich. Already plotting to go back, and see whats next up on the menu!

Keeping this review simple. All of the sandwiches here are amazing. However, I am addicted to the Lucky Luciano. That is all.

I Love Little Old Italian Joints.. The Grinders a.k.a Subs are Huge, They Remind Me of Going to the Corner Grinder in Hartfords Little Italy. We Had the Meatball Ones, Im 3rd Generation Italian American and Im Very Picky About My Meatballs. The Meatballs Were Really Good and Homemade. Made Me Miss Being in Hartford.

This is my go to uber eats place, and I went in when I was in the area and didnt have my newborn with me. They are absolutely excellent. Great portions. Quality food. And delicious taste. Highly recommend, especially their meatball sub.

Tried these guys on recommendation, and lets say it was well worth it. Everything about the sandwich I ordered was amazing. Nice crusty bread, great taste, and for the price, you get a lot more than youd expect. Absolutely will return.

Everything I’ve had here has been BOMB! So authentic and melt in your mouth good! FYI does not travel well. If you order delivery, the subs tend to get soggy. Would highly recommend!!!

Best sandwiches in Montgomery. Every sandwich is made to order and loaded full with meat from the first bite to the last. The sandwiches are large enough to make two meals or to share.

I am checking out living in this area and this place has good reviews. It can be difficult to get there but its worth it. Walking in and ordering was easy. Its friendly in a market that is expanding and I was impressed with all the staff. I ordered the Danza and the sandwich was delicious and the place was clean. My only hold back from 5 stars was the cold meat at the bottom of the sandwich next to the mustard and a slightly soggy bun. Its a 5 star place with a few issues for me but there was a perfect amount of meat and cheese and it all tasted delicious. Go get a delicious meal there.

So delicious! Each sandwich can definitely be split for two and you will be full!! Got the chocolate cake and it melts in your mouth and super light. We’ve had meatball, turkey melt, the cold turkey sandwich, and roast beef melt alllll so delectable! Staff is always friendly and chipper and place is very clean!

One of the best sandwhich shops in all of Texas. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite in the area. Have tried multiple sandwiches and have enjoyed them all so far.

Great food, have always loved this place. Always is a nice atmosphere and good service. Only downside is the location and sometimes its near impossible to park there.

This is our first trip to the restaurant. We had a great order taker who helped us out very much. Great portions for the price. We also got dessert. Also very good. We enjoyed the real sugar soda and tea.

After trying two sandwiches here, I would like to try everything on the menu. Unfortunately, we live over 200 miles away, so this will take a while. The sandwiches are ample, on wonderful bread, and every ingredient is flavorful...Now that I have visited this restaurant several times, I deem it my favorite in all of Texas, and perhaps the known universe.

Such delicious Italian sandwiches!! The Minelli was a perfect Ruben!! The sandwiches are huge, we saved 1/2 for lunch the next day. They have real sugar fountain drinks and root beer etc in glass bottles 😋 It is pricey but so good and you basically get 2 meals out of the one 😆 definitely recommend for great sandwich and Italian food and desserts. Enjoy the Italian upbeat music playing.

Was very disappointed in my order yesterday I asked for spicy and no effort was taken. Was a completely different sandwich then the one I ordered once before. This is supposed to be the Best sandwich place in town and for $27 for lunch to not get what you asked for no thank you the cost includes doordash fees, quality should be first and foremost over quantity... Wish I could attach a pic. Hoping it was just an off day.

This was a great spot. Huge sandwiches at great prices and local fountain sodas. We had the meatball sandwich and the Italian Beef special. Both we spot on. Couldnt finish they were so big. I highly recommend this spot!

What a find! If youre looked for a great sandwich, this is the place. Generous portions at a good price. Our table ordered the muffuletta, the Minelli, and the Corleone. I had the Minelli which was a Reuben. Corned beef was tender. The rye bread wasnt toasted but that didnt matter because it was delicious. I definitely see a road trip on the near future to try the deserts.

Definitely one unique sandwich. Most hot sandwiches come on a garlic sensation presentation 😋. Quality meats with fresh toppings to match. One star deduction for price point and lack of over the top goodness but definitely worth a try of you want a gut bustin good time!

Liza Minnelli / Reuben sandwich is huge and better then any I have ever eaten before and Ive tried a lot.

Absolutely amazing, Im originally from little Italy in New York. This is the absolute and best food Ive had since i moved to Texas 21yrs ago. I love coming here, it reminds of home. Every little detail takes me back, from the decal to the music that plays. I very highly recommend Tonys.

Do yourself a favor and eat here. Just ate a sandwich there for the first time, after my sister had some desserts delivered from them for my birthday. The desserts were delicious- you really cant go wrong, but the limoncelllo and tiramisu were my favorites. I couldnt shut up about the limoncello for days-- not too sweet or heavy and perfect texture. Today I had a beef melt and it is easily the best sandwich I have had in years. I was pleasantly surprised by how huge the sandwich was- enough for me for two filling lunches.

Delicious real deal italian deli, honey had meatball and I had R.Deniro. They have Delicious homemade pickles. We will return because they have a vast sandwich menu!

The people are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and each sandwich is enough for TWO meals (if you can restrain yourself.This place is an absolute treat and I frequently drive in from Spring to eat here!

Im amazed at how good a sub sandwich can taste. I ordered the D. Martin, toasted with a whole pickle and obsessed over that sandwich so much that I was back again the next day. The sub sandwiches are huge and enough for two people. This is truly a hidden gem in Conroe that you do not want to miss out on. I travel for work a lot and lucked up on this spot while in Conroe. Cant wait til Im back in the area so I can go back again!

My Fiancé told me about this place that had delicious subs/sandwiches and asked if I wanted to go for new years since we were in the area. This we came on out and had lunch twice! Food was delicious, fresh and quite amazing! The turkey melt substituted with Swiss was excellent! My Fiancé ended up ordering it on our next day/second day lunch Date 😁😁😁

This place is amazing. Great sandwiches not just good! Most named after some famous Italian. Absolutely delicious and too large to eat in one sitting unless you want to risk straining your duodenum or other vital organs. Great bread, crammed with meat and other fillings and dressed just right! Im glad and sad at the same time that this small family owned establishment is so far away from me that its usually a special treat when I get me one of these meaty masterpieces. If it was closer Id probably be a few more lbs over my doctors recommended load limit. Friendly counter service from an older strip center so dont expect the Ritz Carlton but there is plenty of seating inside with comfy enough chairs and tables to scarf a huge sandwich down at. Enjoy! I know you will! So good!

The sandwiches here are big enough to feed two people. This is serious deli, hand cut meats and hand built sandwiches. The parking can be spotty if you hit it when they are busy the overflow is around back. To be honest that is the only down side to Tonys, they need their own parking lot. Great food, great staff, not a discount joint but not crazy either. Totally worth it, I am a repeat customer.

First time to visit. I asked them to give me their best seller, the Lucky Luciano. It did not disappoint. Very large portion. Would easily feed two people. Great bread, red sauce was very good and the sweet Italian sausage made the sandwich. Will be returning.

Great local shop near Lake Conroe... lots of fabulous sandwich options (how could you NOT want to try a Minnelli, Sinatra, Peschi or Danza?!The Minnelli was a fantastic Reuben and the chicken parm was awesome.... perfect limoncello to end the meal. All I can say is WOW. After being recommended to me by family members and friends who raved about the deli sandwiches I decided to overlook the drab strip mall and try Tonys Deli.All I can say is dont let the simple decor dissuade you; Tonys is legit.From the moment you walk in you can smell the sweet aroma of home cooked sauce.The people that work there are all friendly even recommending one sandwich over another when I had a hard time deciding.The location is remote, the decor is stripped down Italian deli and the sandwiches are some of the best Ive ever had. Perfect ingredients for a hole-in-the-wall find!

Went into Tonys and this place was awesome. Made me feel like I was getting my moneys worth for sure. Asked for double meat and the owner I think said no need saved me some doe because these things are huge!! People listen stop going to Subway ex spent the extra two bucks and go to a local store who actually provide a meal you wont regret or leave with an empty stomach. I ordered to go and there is something to be said when your quality stays 100 percent weather you dine in or out. Thanks guys looking forward to the entire menu.

WOW!!! is all I can say. This was by far the best sandwich Ive ever eaten. I ordered the rocky Marciano add roast beef hot sandwich. Two people can actually eat off of this ginormous beast. I live an hour away and will definitely make the drive to eat here again. The staff was very friendly and welcome you with a smile. Thank you for the awesome food and customer service.
