Food taste is OK, I think its a mix of Burmese and Thai cuisines rather than Authentic Thai version.Overall service and Ambiance is good.

Good food but very pricey

Located near downtown with a lot of delicious food dishes, friendly staffs, quick service. The space is very quiet even though it is quite crowded at noon (I suppose that it is the same at evening).Parking and decoration is ok.Highly recommended.

Best Thai food restaurant in Yangon.Variety of Thai cuisine to choose from. They also have rice and a curry to choose from,so that you dont have to go with others because their dishes are too big to handle solo.Little bit pricey but still foods are decent.

Price, service, ambience and quality of foods are all noticably way above average.We have been the regular patrons of this branch and Kyauk Kone branch of Thai 47 for years, and it is safe to say that they have well-maintained their standards throughout. Without a doubt, this is one of the most well-operated restaurants in Yangon!

I love all the dishes we ordered. Although it was nearly the closing time, the dishes were cooked carefully and deliciously. The staff are attentive and friendly. There is also a parking lot around the restaurant so you dont have to worry about not getting a parking. Its good for large and small groups and pairs. The dishes are good enough for two people. The price is reasonable. I really live the food here.

The serving time is so fast. The food are so delicious. Nice environments with AC. Kids friendly. Suitable for family and groups dining.

Delicious and good place,, recommended thai food

This is the first time ever I give 1 star. Went to this restaurant with good expectations based on TripAdvisor reviews. But it turned out to be not the place for me. Many waitresses but only one spoke a tiny bit of English. Beer was not on the menu and she did not understand I ordered a beer. Finally made it clear and that was okay. Food I choose was not available. Choose something else and ordered also rice. Dishes came without the rice. When I asked for it again they did not understand. There were 8 girls waiting in front of the cashier desk and looked very bored. Nobody paid attention. For the bill I need to ask somebody’s attention. Paid it and wanted to leave. Then double checked the bill and there were other drinks on my bill as well. Complaint, nobody spoke English. In the end I was there with approximately 15 staff around me saying nothing and doing recalculations and new bills. Finally they return me the extra drinks which were not mine. Really I don’t understand why people choose this place as the ambiance is also not worth it. The one 1 star I gave is for the food. But there are many other places in Yangon to go to for Thai food. Never again and waste of money.

Very nice for family party, stuff party, birthday party. There have a lot of car parking place. Foods are tasty. Service is very good. All the stuff are always ready to help you. Price is a little high but you can get an excellent service and clean environment.

Interiors are nicely decorated. Very popular and its necessary to reserve if you want a table on Friday and weekends. But the food is quite poor in my opinion for the price they ask for. The tom yum soup and the pork curry i had didnt deliver authentic Thai taste. Id suggest you go somewhere else if you are looking for good Thai food.

The taste is better then we had in Thailand thats what my friends said who we all visited Thai and Burma together on a trip. We hit Thai local spot and we love this Thai 47 a lot better! Their coconut smoothies is great!

Very impressive! Thai Tea is served as a welcome drink. Food and drink are so good; tasty and suited for all nations to try. The price is reasonable. Well-decorated and clean.

The food was wonderful, but a few minor issues that keep me from giving it five-stars: some of the staff seemed a little clumsy, and disrupted us a few times during our meal (i.e. tried to take the menu while we were still looking at it). Also, several of the items we tried to order were currently not available, which while understandable, should be a rare occurrence at a more upclass restaurant. (It happened with 3 different items during this meal). However, that being said, I would happily go again! Worth a visit in you are in Yangon!

You get nice authentic Thai food. Some dishes are quite unique. But the beef is always overcooked.

Its located near the downtown area of Yangon. The first experience of entering into this restaurant is good, quiet, staffs with welcoming smiles and greeting. Price is not expensive but the foods of Thai 47 are not much tasty as I expected. Foods are so sweet and could not persuade to come back again. Conclusion, Its good place to sit for talking and drinking but not for eating delicious foods.

Good restaurant in a coloneal style building with enough car parking for coustomers. Taste is delicious and different menu and style of cooking which worth trying.
