Featuring in its lobby, This bright budget hotel is a minute's walk from Ximen metro station and 5 minutes by foot from the trendy Ximending pedestrian shopping district.Pared-down rooms come with wood floors, desks and en suite wet rooms, plus flat-screens, free Wi-Fi, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Kids age 4 and under stay at no cost when accompanied by parents.A complimentary breakfast buffet is served in a communal dining area. There's also a convenience store.
Spend the obligatory 8-day quarantine (3+4there. I appreciate that instead of the booked no-window room I was given a room with a window (with a view of the Ximen market). The delivered meals were sufficient (even though I would hugely appreciate some vegetarian options), particularly breakfasts. The employees didnt speak English much, but we usually understood each other eventually. The room was neat when arrived, however I had three cockroaches as roommates, which wasnt that pleasant ;What I count as probably the greatest disadvantage was the insufficient sound isolation (there is a loud ventilation going on the whole night so its wuite difficult to sleep). On the other hand, the hotel position is great, the price is very acceptable for Taipei downtown, and the staff there are really nice. Average to good CP value then
It says a three-star hotel but it was great staying here. I give it a 5 stars. I spent my 8 days quarantine here. It is located just nearby shopping district Ximending. Also, a lot of nice cafes, bars and restaurants around. Transportation convenient. The hotel room’s interior is pleasing to the eyes. Their bathroom has bathtub 🤩
I did my 3+4 quarantine in this hotel recently and want to share my impressions :Positive:+ Very reasonable price compared to other quarantine hotels+ Rooms are very clean, bed is big and comfy+ Staff is friendly and helpfulNeutral:/ Room has basically nothing "extra", no fridge, no fan, no desk, no wardrobe/ Meals are from 7/11, but at least they try to give you something different every day/ Room is small, but enough space for a workoutNegative:- WiFi signal is basically one out of five bars all the time- Sound isolation is pretty bad, you can hear every step on the hallway and every conversation of your neighbors- Theres a constant, low frequency, penetrating, humming sound coming off the walls in my room (811), like someone doing the vacuum next door, but all the time. It makes it impossible to sleep and gives you headache and hurts your ears. Its really torture and you just want to get out of there. Truly horrible, which is why I can only give 1/5
spent my quarantine in here.. affordable & nice stay.. staffs are kind & help me with my request and food delivery outside.. recommended 👍🏻
UPDATE: Because they provide quarantine in cheap, I have come to this hotel again. Worst decision. Their quality has become much worse than before. I came today from a delayed flight. They refused to provide me lunch because they said lunch time was over. Delayed my dinner too. Keeping me hungry for a long time. I dont know if day 1 is like this, how would be the rest of my stay.Place looks really good and comfy. The food was good during the first half of my stay. Though the food amound was not enough for me. Foods were always rice balls, checken and rice etc. Then they started to reducing the food. Today for break fast, they gave two pieces of bread, an egg and tea. I am like how can you degrade from rice balls and chickens to just a piece of dry bread!!!
I stayed here for my 2 week quarantine. Overall it was very stress free and I was very well taken care of. They asked me daily if I needed water, towels, or more toilet paper.3 meals were delivered to me daily, and friends could deliver to me easily. The effort to communicate in English was much appreciated! When I was too cold, even with the ac off, they supplied a second blanket. The free-internet wasn’t great, so do take note if you need better service. The hotel does remind you of this. The bed was very firm compared to US beds (for me thats ok).
Stayed here for my quarantine period! The stuff is super kind and always tried to help me out with my demands about food or room requirements, i just wish all the stuff speaks in english since sometimes was hard to communicate, the room was fine! I liked my experience here(overall of course for being quarantine time! Thanks.
Although they say its a three star hotel, Ill give it five stars.- Very clean.- Good staff- Very spacious and ygienic rooms- Located in City center near bus, metro
Reading the mixed comments youll get an accurate picture of this place. The positives are inexpensive small clean rooms in a very convenient location. Negatives: 1. terrible front desk attitude... They treat you like you are bothering them youll get friendlier service at the 7-Eleven which they share the lobby with 2. They will nickel and dime you at every turn...They have tip boxes in every room asking for coins 3. Terrible unstable wifi in the main building. I was on a business trip and needed stable wifi... Hoping to move to another same sized room with better wifi they said I would have to pay extra 4. The wifi in the back part of the hotel is better I told them I would book those rooms in the future.... They claimed I could only book those rooms at a higher price directly from them at the front desk rather than through an app even though I already stayed in those rooms before when I booked through an app ! Also on a previous trip when they assigned the room at the back of the hotel they said the rooms are smaller because I booked through an app if I wanted to be in the main building (with the bad Wi-FiI would have to pay more !! At the time I booked two straight weeks of rooms....I told them I would have to cancel then. They said go ahead. :)
Stayed at Tomorrow Hotel during Oct 2019 with my spouse. The location of the hotel was great as it is just 2 mins from Ximen station, and there is 7-11 on the ground level of the lobby. The not so good thing about the hotel was the room was small, and I meant extremely small. We have no place for 2 big luggage and have to close it every time when we open up to get our stuffs.Well, we paid what we get for so lesson learned. Next time to pay a bit more for bigger room and no more complains. Cheers! :)
The hotel was very inexpensive. In terms of quality: amazing location, rooms are ok, halls are noisy. Front desk staff were not very pleasant. I stood waiting for 6 minutes with nobody there. It wasn’t until I got the attendants attention a second time that she helped me.
We stayed here for 6 days. True enough, the location is great because the subway station is just across the street. Theres a 7eleven on the same building and a lot of shops around the area. Our first day is okay but next ones are not. They always make up the room but they are not cleaning it thoroughly. The bed sheets werent changed and even though were telling them to change it, they couldnt understand. We also got a lot of insect bites inside our room!! Another thing is the breakfast. Its supposedly until 10am but if you go around 9:30am, you dont have any food choices. Like for example, the eggs and fried rice run out around 9am, they would not refill it. Anyway, the good thing is that the breakfast voucher can be exchanged at 7eleven for 70 NTD value. If I will be asked if we will stay here again, definitely not!
Clean, conveniently located next to ximengding mrt station (捷運西門町站and reasonably-priced hotel for the budget conscious. Comes with shower, TV and a big bed. No fridge though if the price youre paying for the night is very cheap compared to Taipei standards. A water dispenser is available along the corridor for the guests you fill up their bottles.
The location was great, walking distance to the Ximending walking street. Receptionist was not nice at all. They don’t have a service mind, not friendly and they can speak English just a little bit. If you come to check in before 3 Am then they will say “no no check in time is 3 pm” in stead of offering a luggages storage and call or email you when your room is ready. The lobby is in the same area of 7/11 and there is no place for you to sit down and wait for your room. I was freezing waiting for my room on the street
Conveniently located near ximen Station and night market. However, service standard greatly below average.Depending on the room selected, you may be required to go to the back of the hotel in order to take the lift up to the room. They segregate large rooms vs small rooms and make you feel discriminated. That also leads to the room not being cleaned despite the "make up room" sign being hung outside. According to the staff, they start cleaning from 5pm, at the large room tower, from the 9th floor. At 10pm, our room at the 3rd floor at the second tower still wasnt cleaned. Had to call twice for them to send the cleaner over.
This is a basic hotel. No fridge, no kettle. Hot water is at the lift. But is a very clean hotel and convenient. Exit XMD exit 6 u will see 7-11. The hotel is connected to 7-11.
room was clean and neat. only a 2 min walk from ximen exit 6. has a 7-11 at the main floor. breakfast is by a NT70 voucher to be used at 7-11. perhaps the only disadvantage is that the tv channel only has taiwanese channel and there’s no closet (for those staying for quite a few nights)
Great location right in the middle of ximen night market with 7-11 next to hotel reception. Easy to access thru train station and bus stop. Great value with suitable room space, clean and cozy, with proper amenities.
Room is ok. Bed is ok, bathroom has consistent hot water. But the wall partition is not so well sound-proofed. You can easily hear other people talking when they speak louder than usual. You can also hear the vibration of thermostatic heater and hair dryer from other near rooms. But I general this place is ok for quick stopover. Since thee place is located just at the corner of XimenDing. It has a 7-11 and a Tomod’s Japanese früh store at the ground floor.Rate is ok, staffs speak acceptable English.
No bottom washer in the toilet 😭 Why is that?!? The restaurant around the area have it and provide better restroom. Also, the room is not sound-proof.
Great location very close to MRT Ximen station.Room is clean everyday by maid but room with windows is useless of view.Maid here is honesty you can found lost items.
Basic place within 7 eleven. No breakfast or voucher as other guests have said in the past. Bottled water TV bed and bathroom is the total with a lovely view of the back of a billboard from our window. Still does the job
We had some problems when staying at this hotel. Some were small issues and some were more serious. The staff did quite a bit to try to put things right, otherwise this would be a lower-rated review. Id strongly recommend booking the slightly more expensive rooms if you want to stay at this hotel - theyre worth the extra.
The hotel rooms are very clean and no smelly, especially the smell of cigarettes. There has 7 11 at down stair. And outside is xi men night market and the mrt station. Location of hotel very convenient.
Unexpectedly basic! We thought the photos looked good but we were a bit shocked at how small the room is - A square room plus a square toilet. There’s no safe, which is something I didn’t realise initially. No area to store anything as well. Even when we set the airport at 25 degrees, the room seems so cold regardless. The service at concierge wise, I think it is quite good. We had to exchange our breakfast vouchers everyday to claim items at the 7/11 downstairs at a limit of 70 NTD per pax. This concept is quite interesting. And we just claimed other snacks instead.Regardless, the location of hotel is fabulous! Very near exit 6 of ximen station.
Small, but it is bigger than expected, but the walls are so thin that you can hear everyone talk or close the door. Slipper is not comfortable at all. The shower is too high and got wet everywhere. The dress hanger is so small.
I give 5 stars for location but 2 stars for overall experience. Hotel has created many small rooms within the given space on each floor so rooms dont have any windows. I think that may not be legal though......The amenities in the room is bare minimum. Shower screen is only half so the toilet floor will get wet. It also dont make sense to have the hair dryer in the room where the only mirror they provided is in the toilet. There is no wardrobe, no kettle, no sound proofing. I see all these as signs for cost cutting. Not ideal for long stay.
About as good a location you can get when visiting Taipei (ximending area)! located conveniently above 7-11 convenience store and directly beside the walker Street with wide range of shopping and food options. although it is located beside the busy ximending, you do not get much noise (staying at level 9 burning my trip). room is clean. a bit small but is sufficiently spaced for moving about (probably doesnt matter much as you would be out, busy exploring the street of ximending!)
This hotel is the nearest to the Ximen MRT Station Exit 6. The hotel entrance to the MRT station is just a few steps away. So very near. The bathroom was clean, the bed was huge and comfy enough. I would just like to comment on their breakfast deal. You shouldnt expect their breakfast to be the usual hotel buffet breakfast. Theyll just give you coupons worth NTD 70/person to be spent in 7-11 which is just located beside the reception area of the hotel. So do not expect a full or buffet meal when you book this hotel.
The rooms are small but decent. The walls are thin, you can hear all kind of noise from other rooms like the toilets running water, hair dryer and people talking and walking at the lift lobby area.
Loved the location, just a few steps from the Ximen MRT.Bed is a bit too hard though. And its difficult to get a wifi signal in the room. You get breakfast coupons for 711 located in the lobby.
Superb strategic location, Ximending is just next to you. Room is enough for you to pack and unpack luggage. Slightly noisy for those rooms thats close to main street. Overall is a good place to stay if you like Ximending.
Interior is acceptable.Ridiculously overpriced during the weekend at USD$70 per night for a room with no refrigerator, no wardrobe, no window, no safe box, no nothing at all.TV Channels are appalling. If youre a light sleeper, prepare to be woken up by people walking by outside and making noise inside the next room (Its that bad).Bathrooms only good thing was the interior, otherwise expect thin bath towel and no proper toilet.Bed was huge at first until I realized its two single beds merged into one.Only good thing is the location, 2 mins to the subway, hotel lobby has a 7-Eleven, and 3 mins walk to main Ximending area.Staffs are decently friendly. Most guest are family orientated, thus you can have more safe feeling.Been in Taipei many times, there are better hotels out at xmd
Their rooms are so clean and comfy. House rules were written in Chinese so we didnt understand anything. Cleaners of the room were honest. Everytime we arrived at the hotel from our tours, the room was always very neat. I love the bathroom especially the tub!! Location of the hotel is really an advantage for travelers. Concierge staffs were not all fluent in English though, and we always had a problem with our complimentary breakfast. They dont have a restaurant so theyre giving us 7/11 coupons worth NT$70. However, even though we had booked a room with free breakfast, they kept on telling us that we had no breakfast. So we always have to show them are booking receipt. All in all, it was still a great experience. ^^
Location of hotel is great super convenient but hotel is like no frills motel with minimal deco. Most ridiculous thing however is they charge entry to the toilet at the lobby even for guests. And you have to pay for your own toilet paper. Initially I thought the pay per use of toilet was only for the public. Just thought the service could be better.
Nice clean room and 7-11 is in the lobby. So close to MRT and in the heart of Ximending night market. Staffs are friendly. Reasonable price.
Super convenient. 7-Eleven on the ground floor, MRT station only couple of minutes away. Shopping, food, cinemas are all within walking distance.Room is a little small, but its within standards around the area. Great for solo travellers, would be cramp otherwise.
My stay here was great. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect being right above Ximending which pretty much had everything you need and incase if you want to travel to somewhere further away, the MRT is only a minute walk away from the hotel. The staffs are very well mannered and were quick on calls. The elevator is very well managed and clean but it is quite old and doesnt hv a sensor to detect any objects in the way when the doors are closing, so Id advise to be careful whenever operating the elevator. The breakfast buffet isnt that great either (maybe it just doesnt suit my tastesso Id advise to instead claim it and the 7-Eleven downstairs. Overall, it was a great stay and I really enjoyed it.
Location is perfect. The hotel walls are not well isolated can hear noises and the rooms are very small with lack of charging port. Tip boxes are also almost everywhere. The service is good though
One of the staff, whom I believe is the supervisor of the service counter is very unfriendly, treated us like we owe her money. Not a kid friendly budget hotel. Room with a queen sized bed is too small and not furnished with electrical water kettle. This is very inconvenient. No window in the room. The only thing we are satisfied with is the complimentary breakfast provided and one of the friendly staff there.
1.very dirty room on bedsheet & blanket full of DUST & HAIR !!!!2.got so many bed bugs bite until we both peoples legs all got and very itchy and after come back from trips want go to visit doc!!!!!3.)i travel so many countries b4, 1st time i saw in hotel everywhere including room also got TIP BOX !!! somore wrote on there 1usd = 30NTD4.)1st time i saw the hotel you must requested to clean room, but they no change the bed sheet & blanket one, you want put the card to asked them change they just got change one. But got change equal to no change mayb more worst because all the bedsheet & blanket there full on dust !!!!5normally the hotel check out time is 12pm, but this hotel is 11am!!!6.the water heater & water tap you want opened around 5mins just got hot water come out!!!!7.)Poor soundproofing8.the only advantage is very near to ximen mrt only and the downstairs restaurants staffs are very friendly & good manners..9.)Price not worth for this such hotel
Nice hotel. We initially had an issue with our internet and the gentleman that helped us couldnt have been nicer. Very good service from him. Breakfasts were nice and it was a fantastic location right next to the train station and night markets.
Rooms are quite small but newly renovated. Bathrooms are of good size with complete toiletries i.e. towels, body gel, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrush, tissues. Good staff. The hallways may smell of smoke though so consider that too. Very convenient to go around as location is very central
WOW. Just wow! I have never experienced a hotel this terrible. First of all the elevator to get to the rooms is located in the middle of a 7-11. Yes, that’s correct, you have to go INSIDE a 7-11 to get to a hidden elevator to get to your room. Room was very dirty when I checked in. The bath mat had stains and long black hair on it. I then pulled back the sheets and there was more hair and stains. The sheets were not changed. BEWARE THEY DO NOT CHANGE SHEETS FOR NEW GUESTS. I didn’t even sleep at this hotel the first night but I made it look like someone did. Guess what, next day they didn’t even clean the room. Didn’t even touch it. There is a large tip box attached to the room wall that I kept running into because there is no space to walk in the tiny room. Your keycard needs to be reactivated every day. OH, and this hotel charges you a 100NTD for the keycard. The walls are paper thin, I could hear the neighbors phone vibrate! It was so bad. I wouldn’t stay here again if it was free.
Clean room but late house keeping. Only do housekeeping after 5pm. Breakfast variety is almost the same everyday but taste good. Very close to MRT station, only 3 min walk. Sound proof is poor as we can hear car noise inside our room.
I chose this hotel solely for its location. Saw other review about noises from adjacent room but I didnt have this problem. Instead, there was a crane working on the opposite building half the night but I was too tired to be annoyed by the noise. Breakfast was decent.
The staff are pretty rude and inflexible. Theres a need to renew your key card everyday. When you book a small room, its really really small. After putting 2 large luggages you wont have space to walk
Small room but nice and clean. Just next to Ximen station exit 6. Provide breakfast with option to convert to voucher to use in 711 next to hotel lobby. Great friendly services from most staff. Great great location.
The location of the hotel is really good. It is located at a street opposite the Ximen Station Exit 6. Theres a 7-eleven connected to the hotel. Can easily grab a snack if you are feeling hungry in the middle of the night. Room wise, it is passable. Towels may not be very clean. Would be good to bring your own.
Worst hotel experience ever! It was the summer break and most of the hotel nearby was fully booked so we settled the night here for 2. When we reached the hotel I had a shock of my life as my bed was wet as the aircon was leaking. Not to mention that the room was tremendously small (after opening up my luggage I could only jump and crawl ard the room). Ohya! I spot a dead cockroach on the floor as well. When we went down to the reception, the staff was all girls and gave us attitude when we complained abt the room politely. However, the security and housekeeper whom helped us was very nice and helpful.
