Tombstone's Historama - History museum in Tombstone, United States
The Historama is included when you buy tickets to the Ok Corral show along with tickets to the Epitaph. Its nice to do that after watching the show so you can sit inside and cool off for a while. The historama is super old and spins in 4 different sections showing the progression of the town. Its actually pretty comical when some of the figures move. Theres a screen that comes down and Vincent Price narrates in-between the figures moving. The only downside was the lady forgot to turn the projector on so someone had to go out and inform her of it. It was so distracting with doors opening, closing, and a lot of chatter. She shouldve restarted the show since we hadnt gotten very far in the program.
Fun but mostly shopping and walking.
Cool to see once.
It is a very knowledgeable experience Im glad that I was there to see their show
Had a great time walking the street and checking out all the stores. Had lunch at the Crystal Palace Saloon. Sat at the bar and enjoyed my brew & food. Entertainment was great.
This was an interesting presentation on the history of Tombstone, but it seriously needs an update. It was completely white-centric. The Apache were mentioned briefly as "marauders", while the white settlers were "brave". Then the Indigenous people completely disappeared from the narrative, save for Geronimos surrender. When we know better, we can do better. Its time for the Historama to do better!
This short film gives you the history of Tombstone; we learned some interesting facts. The tickets came with the purchase of the O. K. Corral gunfight tickets.
Great historic gem in a town drowning in history. Glad to see the true story and show have stayed in Tombstone and off the internet. Go and see this neat little show!
The silver mine tour was a great experience to try.
Excellent history and gun show a must in tombstone
Good for people who wanna know about tombstone history
A different way of telling the tale of the wild west. Tickets come with OK Corral Shootout show tickets. I wouldnt miss either.
Doing the combo with the OK Corral,is a nice finish to a good reenactment of the gunfight. Gives you a lot of history in the AC.
Worth the money
You get a brochere with admission
Yall need to see it
See it while you can... Its been on display for a long time and probably wont be replaced when it eventually breaks. As is, its a great overview of Tombstones history, narrated by Vincent Price!
Very well done
Great first stop ,gun fight then movie loved it!
You know, I didnt do this the first three times we went to town but we finally did, and I had fun. It was a nice cool place to sit and relax and learn a bit of history about the town. The Historama is actually pretty cool. I would take someone there again.
