It was a really really nice room to something to eat in the morning or night time.

The food is of impressively high quality and the atmosphere is really welcoming. There are kind of booths to have a quiet dinner as a couple or a family. Im sad when I see people who go there just to eat all they can.

Dont try. At least 4 times reminding to leave on time during 1hr 50 minutes buffet time, It was so inconvenient and unsettling.Before we havent finished eating they took away our bbq pan tray 30 minutes early. The space is so congested and not a good place for family with kids or groups .

We had a very good experience here. The food, the options and the price were all very good. To have both Korean BBQ and hot soup in the same place means everyone is guaranteed to have a good meal. The staff are rushed off their feet but still helpful and polite. Will come back here again for sure. BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL!

All staffs are very helpful, clean and great service, food was awesome and staff always top up, not let trays empty, the place a bit tiny but everything all together are perfect

Ribs were amazing! And the pork! Didn’t really cook much other than the squid and edamame but yo amazing kai and ka rawe service! Will be back again x

Bustling restaurant hidden away in Newmarket. Great food variety, Korean BBQ, hotpot and Japanese/ Korean buffet ensures everyone is happy. Recommended

Everything here is neat and clean. attentive service staff, they often change the baking paper even though we dont ask for it. The restaurant has both grill and hot pot. They have the comfortable seats with convenient grill design. The hot pot doesnt have many options. Various grilled meats, vegetables served with grilled meat are good. The aisle at the food stall is quite narrow, just for one person.Meal times are limited to less than two hours, so everyone pays attention about that. Its crowded all time, so its best to book a table in advance. Otherwise you have to wait a long time outside.

They call to check you are coming for your booking, the service was lovely & staff are very helpful. I had the precooked menu & it was soooo good! My family did the hotpot too and enjoyed it all.

Just loved it, all 5 of us! The food was so good, huge variety, the staff were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. They gave us little tips as first timers which was appreciated. 😁We loved being in our own little booth. The cooking paper was changed regularly, plates cleared and everything you needed to enjoy your dining was provided.We all really enjoyed the meal, the variety, and will definitely return. Parking in the Wilson car park was an easy walk, and not expensive. It was a great find!!!

We booked a table for 5 but we were given a very tiny table thatd be hard to sit and eat comfortably. When asked if we could move to the neighbouring table, we were told its reserved but it turned out the table was empty the whole evening.The taste of the food was ok, but having eaten so many Korean BBQ, its the first time that we needed to add a piece of paper on the grill plate. When we tried to remove it, we were immediately told we must use it becos its hard to wash (but isnt it an issue for the restaurant to deal with, not the customer? Why other Korean BBQ restaurants dont have that issue?). The meat were not grilled at all but more like braised.Whats worst is another customer dropped and spilled raw meat with sauce onto my hubbys back. His shirt and coat that was on the chair turned into orange immediately. Instead of apologising, the restaurant staff tried to tell us it was the customers fault and not theirs. I was furious and told them how angry we were. Its not about whos at fault but the end result is our clothes were all dirty. They ended up offering a $20 discount but we wont be visiting again due to the poor service.

Have dinner here tonight for my son’s birthday and we have enjoyed the food so much. Wish that the place was big enough it was a bit overcrowded. Very friendly staff, we would love to go again.

Had a lovely dinner here with friends. The bbq, hot pot, sushi and dessert were all nice. The paper on bbq was changed often, water was easily available and plates were cleared away often.Staff were very friendly.I would recommend this restaurant.

Very friendly staff and a very good atmosphere. Kid friendly food and the food was amazing.Staff were very helpful with the changing of stove top wrapping which you cook your food on.Carpark on the street is hard to find a spot but there is 2 major carpark buildings which is like a 2 minute walk away so dont be put off by finding a carpark you wont be disappointed.Highly recommended and the very very good value for money.

Terrible helicopter service.You cant go there and sit comfortably .Tables are set too close together, you really couldnt enjoy your meal.Hated the cookers on the tables bcos that made our eating space even smaller.Buffet food layout is not designed to cater for big crowds.Tables set too close to the food so youre numping into diners as you walk pass.This is our f irst visit and will be our last.

Would come back all the time if you could make more sushi options and bigger sizesSushi , also cold water should be available for every table ……..my only suggestions would be better sushi and more options of foodOtherwise great place to eat thank you !

Not a great dining experience! Very cramped, hardly any space to move about freely, quite hazardous. Half an hour in we were asked to swap tables to accommodate some other patrons and they swiftly took our bbq cooker away so we could not bbq any meat. selection of food and dessert -appalling! Weird surcharge for food wastage. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing . Would not recommend AT ALL! 👎🏽 0 ⭐️ rating

Did not enjoy our dining experience here. Its too cramped the seating is not spaced out we were tripping over seats and saw other people tripping up from the small spaces between the tables. You can only go up one by one and theres a $5 surcharge if you waste food. We were only seated for about half n hour before a staff member approached us surprised we were eating dessert already as if she had been monitoring how much we are eating. She then wanted us to get up and move to another table to cater to another group and swiftly removed our cooker. They gave us cups but we had to ask for water. They have crammed as much tables in that small space to make more money. Not safe from covid so enter at your own risk. Wont be coming back staff are like helicopters hovering over you. Its Chaotic not very family friendly

Went there for my birthday wasnt enough options/space for the desserts. The sushi was okay. Not enough room to move around.

A good value bbq if you want to try a lot of different foods. They have k-bbq, shabu shabu and lots of other prepared food including tempura, sushi, chicken etc. The food actually exceeded my expectations and it was refilled regularly so there was always something fresh to pick from.The staff were really kind and helpful, always coming to change our bbq lining foil without even having to be called over.My only critique is that with so many options to choose from, the table is almost too small. It gets really hectic if you have the bbq, shabu shabu and other plates of food going on at the same time.

A really great atmosphere and wide range of delicious tasty food available. Being able to BBQ at the table was very enjoyable.

The lady in charge of taking calls is extremely rude and unprofessional… I tried to make a booking for Saturday but there were no seats available at 5:30 but at 7:20 there were, apparently she was busy and told me to call back 10 minutes later, I did so and the answer I got was “ we don’t have any table for Saturday” bye, ok? Bye. She didn’t even listen to me.. all she said was bye 4-5 times.

Called to confirm a booking made a month ago for Mother’s Day as we were coming from out of town and told no booking under that name and got hung up on. Had to scramble to change plans. Very disappointing. Will never go there. 0/5

Sushi was a big let down. Rice was hard like it had been left in the fridge uncovered. Pork ribs were nice but the overall price just doesnt justify eating here.

For a first time it was yummy xoxo staff was awesome ❤❤ I think my family and I got too full on what we are use to eating we forgot to try the hot pots or the bbq meats so I think next time we come in Ill be going straight to the hotpot and bbq stuff first then the rest... awesome dinner lastnight. If you ever feel like you want a night out eating subpar food, with strangers guts and bums in the back of your head, and a very strong chance of catching covid, then youve come to the right place!The food was just soso. But the main annoyance by far is being seated right next to, almost in, the buffet area. Which means trying to eat while getting nudged and pushed by the dozens of people moving past. Absolutely absurd that table arrangement even exists. Probably catch covid since youre literally going to have your space invaded by everyone in the dinky little restaurant all night. Absolutely never going back.

The Korean/Asian buffets Ive been to are similar when in comes to the hotpot, bbq and desserts. But this place so far has the best tasting side dishes. They also have good selections of sushi. And among their hot foods, their beef rib stew and pork ribs are the best sellers as they are scrumptious. Its relatively small place though so definitely need to book. Theres a charge of $5 for leftovers...which I doubt youll have any. They charge per table so, if coming with group of friends, assign someone to pay for everything. You are allowed up to 2 hours dining time to fill up to till you pants dont fit. 😋

Was ok. Meat selection is fine and service is good (frequent paper change without need to request). Also like the dividers between booths giving a sense of seclusion. Sensible COVID rules as well (eg 1 person per table getting up at a time). The let down is the quality of ready made buffet items. Eg tasteless samosas, gyozas taste stale (no crisp at all), hot pot vege selection is pretty limited (no mushrooms at all etc). Sushi average/stale depending on type. Ice cream difficult to tell flavor due to lack of label. 2 hours time limit is plenty of time to eat a meal. Was ok.

I never knew Tombo was here and what a gem it is! The staff are great; helpful and friendly, and the food was so good! I enjoyed the variety and how it differed from many kbbq places Id been before.

Nice place. The staff were lovely as it was my first time having Korean bbq I wasn’t entirely sure of what to do. they gave their recommendations which was much appreciated. The food was nice besides the sushi rice was slightly hard. Good experience. Would recommend.

Visited here 2 years ago. Food was great however the owner was a bit rude. My friend couldnt attend because of sickness so I attended alone instead of two people. The lady wasnt happy and expressed it unnecessarily. Sickness does happen and she should be thankful that patrons dont bring sickness into her eatery.

Nice restaurant for a small group of people. Was abit crowded when we arrived. Booking was made in advance. Food was great especially the pork ribs. Definitely worth trying out. Not much choices for desert. You can also cook your own food option on the tables. We just ate the ready made food.

Nice marinated meat. I also like the salads and sauces. The Kimchi was a little bit old (over sour). Staff were very very nice and attentive. Reasonable price.The only thing that made me feel not comfortable was about the 2 hours maximum for a staying. It was quite a pressure to me, since I’m a slow eater. I really enjoyed the food but not 100% because the clock was ticking 😅😅😅. Apart from that, overall is good and I still recommend with a 4.8 ⭐️. Thank you very much!

Friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff members with great price and plenty of food; despite having 2 hours limit for dining. Booking is recommended as they are really busy; however, please expect the host trying really hard to change your booking as they please if they think that they can get a bit more money by doing that: they were close to forcing my wife to change to tiny 2 seats table because they think that our toddler is too small for his own seat in a bigger table, and arguing that they can fit 3 of us into their 2 seat table; which would be a real life magic as that setting is already too small for 2 person let along adding the 3rd chair into that table; It would only be possible if the 3rd chair is on top of the stove.I wont come back nor spend extra money just because of that.

Nice BBQ and hot pot for 35 bucks, good staff and service, but I feel couof had more seafood. But over all good eats and atmosphere

Nice small buffet restaurant spot and lovely service from Ji and her team. They have hot pot and Korean bbq with a variety of raw meats to choose from and side dishes, a dessert station and coffee station too. The ribs here are so good. Highly recommend!

It was a lovely experience, very kind staff , you have assorted meats that you can barbeque korean style on your table, you can also make instant pot noodles with mini octopus, there are plenty of ingredients , the brownie is a must try , parking is on street free after around 6 pm , fairly easy to find a car park depends on your time of visit as it can get busy with neighbouring restaurants, will visit again 😄

I went here for a farewell party as one of our friends went back home country. Food was very nice and clean. And not too much MSG like another Korean buffet. Staff was so nice and kindly, mostly the owner, she always keeps her smiling face.

Its more than a restaurant, If you never had Korean food, its a great place to give it a try. Its a really nice place to talk with friends or family.The staff is really good. Food is great.

had dinner here which I hadnt done in a long time. The atmosphere and food have been changed and developed which was better than before.I had pork first and beef with hot pot. The beef was the best! Chewy and melted in my mouth.Will visit again for the beef!
