Nice staff, but I was disappointed that they are no longer offering the good "margarita madness" special. The promo was actively listed on their instagram page, which I showed the owner. Not only had prices increased, but they now also require the purchase of a main dish, (appetizers not included). Such a shame. I will be taking my margarita happy hour some where else.

$15 guacamole was watery and mediocre, husband’s seafood was over cooked, my entree was bland and had no flavor. You will notice that the margaritas are the only item on menu with no pricing - I think they change prices based on who they serve. Was charged $26 for a margarita flight with zero alcohol in it (found out the cost when bill was brought over and mentioned $26 is a LOT of money for juiceand the waiter’s immediate response of no one would believe me since I drank them made it sound like they’ve heard the complaint before. Admittedly, I noticed right away that I didn’t taste alcohol and that my husband who hates tequila said they tasted good (red flag), however I thought maybe it was just minimal amounts and my sipping each one meant I wasn’t tasting it if it was at the bottom, so ended up shooting them all and still tasted/felt absolutely nothing. Even if there was a 1/4 shot of alcohol in 8 minis, that would still be 2 shots worth. Even at 1/8 it would still be a full shot, and for someone who has minimal tolerance - I would have felt SOMETHING. The so-called manager who came over to discuss condescendingly told me I didn’t order tequila shots and that there are other ingredients in margaritas. I noted that I know the difference between a margarita and a shot of tequila, that I knew fully well what I was supposed to be ordering and that there was zero alcohol in my drinks. She rudely stated that there WAS tequila and walked away. I have no doubt it’s an intentional scam for tourists.They had live music which was nice, but unless you are getting bottled beers and not wanting to eat flavorful food, I couldn’t recommend.

Over all excellent service, food and ambience

They are the worst Mexican restaurant i have been to. The food is okay. The service is very very bad. It not a Mexican restaurant. Don’t ever go there. There are many other options in the area 100x better and they serve real authentic Mexican food.

Awesome food, great staff and beautiful. I was grateful to find this place while vacationing in San Juan. Authentic Puerto Rican food and also great cocktails. Highly recommended if you are traveling to San Juan. Staff was great, make sure you tip if you can!

Medium service rating, waitress was very nice at table, food was just OK, really wanted to like this place but not that good unfortunately. Also overpriced, but so are most restaurants in the tourist areas. Money better spent other places, the flight of Margaritas was neat, unfortunately follow up was not. Fajitas were not great, dry and had no flavor.

Some of the best Mexican food weve ever had. Gina the owner is super sweet, met us at the door and took our order. Luz our bartender was no bilingual, but that did not stop the service and food from being phenomenal! Gracias por todo Tomate! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fantastic Mexican good. My fiancé said this compares to the homemade food his grandmother has made.

we had the greatest experience here on the last day of our trip to PR, food was delicious, had some of the best chilaquiles (next to my abuelita’s), and staff was so welcoming and friendly, treated us like family! definitely a hidden gem for flavorful mexican food, highly recommend!!!

Great place! I was honestly impressed with this restaurant. The food was delicious. We had the tacos sampler (the pickled vegetables on the fish taco were amazing), and a guava-pineapple and passion fruit margaritas. Their mole sauce with chips was absolutely delicious! The owner was around and I asked her if she sold it in jars because it was that good (she doesnt... yet ;)The atmosphere was super chill, just as you would expect of a Mexican restaurant at the Beach in Puerto Rico. The service was top notch, kudos to the young waiters taking care of a busy dinnertime crowd. The chef was talking to customers in the dining room. The owner was around and very friendly to customers. I will be back!

Had to go by and help celebrate Cinco de Mayo with them. The Cinco de Mayo margarita tasted like about 4 or 5 more, but I was the driver. Food and service were great. Would recommend to anyone. Really great folks! We’ll be back! 🎉

This place was a lovely surprise. We dropped in for a late dinner and made it just before the kitchen closed. They couldn’t have been nicer. The food was great and the margaritas even better! I enjoyed the mole. And they had live music on a Wednesday!

Nice cozy place in Isla Verde. Good margaritas menu. Food is tasty and with flavor. Needs more dishes in the menu.

Valerie(Valeria in Spanishwas our waitress and she was amazing! This is the best customer service I have seen in a look g time. This was her 3rd day but she handled everything like a pro. The food was good and the drinkers were also great. She gave us recommendations for good breakfast spots nearby and she really went out her way to make us feel welcome and comfort bark. I would come back here for the customer service alone!

One day its great; food and service was excellent. Enchilada plate was very flavorful, and our tacos were delicious. The waitperson was communicative, very attentive, and took good care of us. We come back 2 days later, and its terrible. Food was slightly better than ok, but not by much. The fajita meat this time was a bit chewy and the mix was missing some flavor. We placed orders for drinks before we ordered food. 15-20 minutes pass by, so we had to ask about the drinks. The waitperson says we will get our drinks soon. We get food but drinks still not served. We ask the person whom we thought was the bartender, but he tells us he is not the bartender. Then our waitperson brings over drinks that did not taste right. He apologizes and tells us the bartender wont be in for another hour. Why not tell us that to begin with, so we dont order drinks from the bar?

I was referred to this place by a friend. Not much parking. The restaurant has its charm, nice decor and friendly servers. The Menu was a little confusing and very limited compared to other restaurants of the same category.The drinks were good, and the appetizers were enjoyable. But the prices were a little on the high side compared to others.The restaurant needed more attention to cleanliness because the floor was sticky throughout.Overall it was a good place to visit.

I would give em 6 stars if I could. Adasha the manager is amazing! Fajitas are so flavorful & drink specials are too good to resist. Highly recommended!

Was a recurrent customer for their MargaritasThis last time I went i was charged $15 for a Margarita. They were great, but very overpriced for the product we were being provided. Cool place, great drinks and the bartender came over personally and asked if we liked them. I highly recommend the margarita sampler! Regarding the food, I had steak tacos. There were 2 3" pieces of meat in each taco. That was all. It was very disappointing.

Visited this place in June 2021 during my recent trip to San Juan and boy do I regret it. We started with the margarita samplers - and we liked it though it was light on alcohol there were distinct flavors in each shot. For the food, we went straight for the tacos - chicken, pork and fish. Now I am honestly struggling to decide which one was worse than the other. We wanted to order shrimp tacos and they ran out of shrimp that night. There was a weird smell coming from the chicken and pork tacos. The pico de gallo was a joke. These cold tacos do not deserve to be served. Finally we asked if they could get us some hot sauce and apparently they ran out of bottled hot sauce as well. Service was good but food was horrible. I am honestly surprised with several positive yelp reviews about this place but my experience was HORRIBLE and we literally went to bed hungry that night having paid a lot for horrible food. Please stay away or take your chances.

Food has a different spin on some old favorites. We had the margarita sampler which was tasty but definitely lacking tequila. Perhaps thats a good thing because the full size drinks (we had one eachhad a normal amount of tequila in them. Our waitress was awesome. She was full of good energy and recommended several items.

Service was good, but very slow. Maybe they are understaffed in the kitchen?? But the owner was here. The tamarind margarita was great, the watermelon jalapeño one was difficult to drink because it was too chunky. The coconut shreds in the drinks look nice but are very incovenient. Tacos had good taste, but the corn tortillas fell apart. Had to eat them with a fork and knife which was sad. Changed it from 3 starts to 2 because of the super long wait for dessert.... There are only 6 tables here so Im confused. Wouldnt come back because of the time we had to wait for the food?

Service was good but very slow, but the food was awful and so expensive! We complained a few times elote cold, queso with meat was over done and the cheese was hard on the bottom, and the $17 meal I got looked like it came from the kids menu! Server was very kind but food was so bad and over prices $60 for two

A gem of a Mexican eatery in Isle Verde! I had the good fortune of staying near this place during my stay. The restaurant smelled of delicious entrees as we walked in. We ordered the enchiladas, tacos and margarita samplers with Patron. The table next to us had an iron skillet of queso that we kept eyeing and wish we had room for. Everything was fantastic and flavorful! The service was the most generous of anywhere we went. The waiter ensured everything was to our liking and took some time to write down his favorite neighborhoods and restaurants when we asked for recommendations! This will definitely be our go-to when we are craving good Mexican food in the San Juan area!

Worst food ever (does not match the photos)! Its literally like your 7 year old child cooked for you. I would never go back. Fish tacos have a small thing of fish on bread with maybe 5 cubes of peppers (nothing else). Steak tacos have slices of steak on bread and some onion (nothing else). Chips were fried but super cold when we got them. Drinks (margaritalooks good, taste ok, but Im pretty sure there is no alcohol in them. Basically you are just getting over priced juice. The server was very nice but it felt like they knew we would hate everything before we even ordered.

Server was great but the worst food Ive ever tasted. They didnt have the variety shots nor guacamole. I got a variety of different tacos and all they had on them was big pieces of onions NO pico de gallo.. nothing... the queso wasnt creamy it was cooked cheese so when it got cold you couldnt pick it up with the chips.

Jose , Carlos and Adasha are amazing servers. Specially Jose who was the most attentive! Excelente food and music, I highly recommend!

Alejandro is the best server, he served us one of the best guacamole I’ve ever ate and the chef even came to talk to us at the table and she is not just making delicious food but she is very nice too!! All the staff is, actually! Highly recommend it!

Hands down this was the best spot we ate at while in PR! I wouldve eaten here everyday. Everything on the menu is delicious. And if you check in on two theres a coupon for margaritas.

Customer service is still king! The fajitas and Mojitos were great. Customer service was ok...felt neglected a few times.

After spending a week in San Juan Puerto Rico on our last night we came here and this restaurant was more than what we were expecting the staff was very welcoming and very attentive one individual stood( Mateo He was very knowledgeable and really created a mood of fun. Unbeknownst to us we came during happy hour with our margaritas started off as one dollar this was an added treat this restaurant is definitely a hidden treasure. The next time I’m in Puerto Rico this will be one of my first stops.

Food quality was good. My husband had fajitas and liked them alot. My daughter and I had chicken tacos with a side of beans and rice. I loved the taco and rice. The Pico de galo was fantastic in my opinion. Loved the fried ice cream - best Ive had, and Ive had it in Mexico and Dominican Republic. Service was a bit slow for me, but I am American. Not sure if thats the style. Ive noticed alot of places are slower in PR than Ive experienced in other countries.

Great Pico de gallo. They offer tacos of flour or corn, alone or in trio. They mahi mahi with with sauce taste delicious. Excellent variaty of margaritas to taste.

Really cool and nice! The owner and staff are very welcoming abd attentive. The "queso fundido con chorizo" is amazing, must have! Margaritas are awesome, different flavors. Had a chicken tostada- good portion and taste. Coming back!

A cozy Mexican restaurant in the bustling city of Isla Verde. Right from the owner/manager welcoming us to our friendly waiter, Siul constantly checking on us... Everything here was great. We started our lunch with a very refreshing watermelon mint mojito and passion fruit juice. We ordered the guacamole and spiced it with pineapple and harbenaro. It definitely added the heat we liked... But if you cant take the spice levels, it might be best to stick to just the pineapple. The chips are more authentic where tortilla are fried. In other words, they are fresh but not always crispy. We had the pan fried mahi mahi... le I was skeptical about the coco-chipot but it turned out to be great. The rice was very flavorful. For our toddler, we ordered the fried chicken which was different from the ones we usually get. It wasnt chicken tenders and seem to have different parts of the chicken fried not just the breast. May be thats the way they do it here but it just seemed different for me, as I wasnt sure what exactly my toddler was eating.Nevertheless, the overall experience was great and Ill highly recommend this in the isla Verde area.

Excellent authentic mexican food. You should try the Margarita Sampler (8 different margaritas shots to tryand the Taco Sampler (5 different tacos). Staff is very attentive and accomodating.

I am so happy I visited this restaurant, the front desk at the ritz Carlton recommended this place for dinner and I had such a wonderful time. Service couldnt be better, from the bartender, waitress and owner. Margaritas is the best I ever had! They have a huge selection of flavors. Food was very high quality with great depth of flavor. We were chatting with the staff the whole night and just felt like it was a family gathering at home. Will definitely return again next time Im in San Juan.

Good for drinks and guacamole. Guacamole is made with really fresh hass avocados. If you like spicy food..ask for Xnipek sauce. Margaritas are awesome, with multiple fruit flavors and tajil (only place in pt offering it)
