Tokyo Disney Resort - Theme park in Kanda, Japan
Tokyo Disney Resort in Kanda
Description
Privilege
Dream and fantasy world. But you should go there early in the morning if you wanna enjoy attractions
MoreMy wife said, happiest place on earth.I came here on Sunday, and it was not that crowded! I only wait for 20-40 mins for every games. Came not to early, but get 8 games for the whole day.Unfortunately it was raining, no parade and fireworksBut it was fine
More5 stars and more
We went for half day. You can enter the park before it opens and the m stand in line for the rides. It has a Japanese feeling
MoreWe visited Disney Sea on Halloween day and it was not really busy! Our longest wait was 70 mins for Tower of Terror. This is a very visually stunning park, the cast members are super enthusiastic (not like NA now). Crowds were super polite and orderly. The only thing I can say is it lacks some great rides.20000 leagues and journey are dated, while a beautiful land, the rides are fun but also need to add more or modernize imo.Now they are currently refurbishing some rides and adding a new land in 24!This place will be awesome.Possibly the best in the world! We have been to every park in the world and loved this park too!Disney still asks for guests to wear masks (as does all of Japan, without a mandateand 99% of people willingly cooperate, no question.Refreshingly civilized.
MoreStayed at the Disney Ambassador Hotel. Was a pleasant experience however one that I would have difficulty justifying again purely due to the price. The Mickey room was something to see, but would have been an easy compromise to select a cheaper option and stay more nights.
MoreVisit the happiest place on earth should make u happy but for me it was a total frustration. Rides q are 3 miles long, shows are on ballot and the final show stoppers the Disney parade was cancel n what was left for the day are only the fireworks. Walking around the park I only saw one character the miss Donald duck and taking picture with her u need to maintain socal distancing. I left without see any shows cos all my ballots are not successful. Disney should not make maximum tickets sales when they are not ready. I wishes Disney well.
MoreMight be my favorite castle park so far. Unique to Tokyo rides were amazing. Parades were great (and I usually dont care). Food was great and so reasonably priced for park food (and compared to the theme park in Osaka). Cant wait for a return visit after the expansion. (Was sad that 2 headline attractions were down at the same time)
MoreIt was a Saturday in late October. Saturdays are busy but it was the only day we had available and we were prepared for crowds. The crowds were well managed but we missed out on the Hanuted House because by the time we figured out that a standby pass was required, none were left. Otherwise we made it on all the most popular rides, except Space Mountain and Pirates which were closed. Not happy with the Genie + but we were pretty much forced to use it for Bells palace as we felt we could not afford to spend 3 hours in line for 1 ride. As always, the staff were amazing and everyone had a good time. Side note, being that it was October, many quests were in cosplay which was amazing and added a little something special to the experience. Most everyone, if not everyone, wore Disney spirit wear, more so Id say that the US parks, which again added to the over all experience!
MoreI spent 2.5 days at the Disney Resort with my family. Honestly, I would be lying if I didnt say I felt a little disappointed. I was expecting magic, not literally, but at least the feeling of wanting to go back after leaving. 80-90% of the time is spent either walking to another attraction or waiting in line. If it was just this I wouldnt have minded as much, however, the way they try their best to ring your pockets dry is very annoying to see. It destroys the whole land of fantasy image they spent so much money to create. I will give 3 simplified examples.1. Merchandise: the quality of the material used does not match the price they are charging.2. Attractions: some require you to pay extra to use it.**I paid 10,000yen/person to get into the park, I feel I shouldnt be required to pay extra to use any of the attractions or see any of the shows.3. Paid VIP: waiting in line for 1 hour and 30 minutes, just to watch someone who paid for the Disney VIP, I forgot the name, service get put in front of the line, repeatedly is frustrating to the MAX!I only gave it 3 stars due to the few attractions that put a smile on my familys face.
MoreVery fantastics with many attractions.
The entrance fee as of October 10, 2022 is 9400 yen for the weekend! There were fireworks show at 20:30!Saturday was quite busy and crowded. For the ride of centre of the earth had to wait 85mins. インディ・ジョーンズ had to wait 65mins. Raging spirit had to wait the same like 65mins. Unfortunately we could not go ソアリン...but I recommend if you would like to go restaurant, you need to book in advance online!!
MoreFantastic place to visit. Have a lot of rides and parks. Some rides need to wait 30 to 50 minutes in line.
MoreNo.1 place to bring kids to have fun.
A magical place like no other. One can never be too old for a visit to Disneyland. The helpful, kind staff and the spotlessly clean areas make the whole experience even more enjoyable. On the negative side, the endless crowds can be very exhausting, especially on weekends and holidays. It is recommended to purchase a Disney Premier Access pass whenever available.
MoreBeautiful place. Very friendly staff always smiling 🙂.
What can I say? It’s Disney! We have stayed at the Disney Resort hotel multiple times to use our Disney Vacation Club points. It’s never a disappointment. You can enter the resort earlier if you stay here. You can buy all your park tickets as well. We were given two fast pass ride tickets per person this time. Not sure why, but it was great. But it’s only good during our stay. Maybe a bonus for staying at the Disney hotel. We didn’t get those the week before when we stayed at the Miracosta hotel. You also can park for 3,000 yen per day plus 1,000 for each additional day. You can stay parked in the lot until 1400 the day you check out. Although at Miracosta you can stay until midnight! The rooms allow 3 adults which is from 13 and up plus two children max. We often do a sleepover for our children’s friends. Even if they don’t go in the park it’s still quite fun.The buffet at Sherwood Forest is very good but you should make reservations in advance. We were not able to get seats for two the day we wanted. But the dreamers lounge near the lobby overlooking the park entrance is usually open. But they stop seating at 0930 and food at 1000 and you have to be out at 1030. So it’s not a place for a late breaksfast.
MoreBusy busy even during covid peak 7th wave. But well organized and most of the queues are well managed as you dont have to wait much time under the 34°C sunny weather. The new Beauty and the Beast ride is a must-go
MoreGo to Maihama Station, Tokyo Disneyland will welcome you outside the station.Everything here are very accessible.I recommend you to go on weekdays and check the weather. It is more fun to explore the place on a sunny day rather than rainy day. Bring water, towel and umbrella. And ride all the rides here, it is so fun.You would know why it is the happiest place on earth.
MoreA few rides were closed, and like every other Disneyland in the world it was very packed. Plus the heat didnt make it any better. In character experiences were very limited if at all. And you had to be 6 ft away from the character
MoreSo much fun and so much to do and see.
The experience here was amazing. Staff are super friendly and attentive to your needs. Park is the cleanest place I’ve seen for how many people are there. Go during weekdays for easier time getting on rides never waited more than 20 mins for the best attractions. Would definitely go back again.
MoreI have only been to the parks now (July 2022so I didnt experience much from the resort overall. But the environment of the whole place is always amazing and magical. The monorail is definitely worth a ride, even if you dont necessarily need it. And when you do it, I recommend going all the way to the front of the train to check on the view and the fact that there is no conductor in sight. Its really cool!!Also, if you have time, go visit the Disney hotels lobby areas. They are beautiful!!! (I did it last time I was around)
MorePlace where your dreams about far away locations comes true!
Atrocious wait times, even on a slow day. The rides arent that good. Very pleasing visually, but not much to them otherwise. The only reason it takes a day to see either park is because everything is so spaced out it takes forever to walk to each section.
MoreGreat location!!!! If you booked this hotel but were not able to get tickets online, just buy them at the hotel. The staff is great and tried to be as accommodating as possible. Theres a mini Mart in the first floor thats open from 6:00am - 11:00pm. The beds are firm so dont expect a soft plush bed. At the end of it all, we enjoyed our stay.
MoreAwesome amusement park, beautiful Ambience. Actually takes you to the different world. Must visit
MoreIts Disney, but in Japan. An amazing little faux town that is a spectacle in itself. The rides and are mostly oriented towards children but I still found everything charming and enjoyable. Tower of Terror is rather intense.
MoreI love this park. All the cast members were helpful and awesome. Definitely coming back.
MoreWe had the best time here. Due to the pandemic and Japan being closed to tourists and the fact that we came on a weekday, it meant that there were no crowds. Many rides had zero wait time and there was only one ride (Beauty and the Beastthat had a longer wait time of 45 minutes. To note - if you’re vegetarian or vegan, the food options are extremely limited. Essentially you’re going to be eating garden salad in a cup, French fries and popcorn.Make sure you check out the little popcorn stands dotted around the park - they all have a different style of popcorn container. These are collectible and unique to Tokyo Disneyland.
MoreThe place of my dreams! Haven’t experienced anything like that in my life and it’s definitely worth it!
MoreA heaven on earth.Booking is not easy, prepares yours in advance, you can buy the ticket at Disney store, online in website or in any convenience store.
MoreWith the Standby pass there were no waits longer then 15 to 20minutes. Everything was magical and enjoyed it very much with the family. Its been a while since I went back to Disney but it was as amazing as ever!
MoreSuch a great time. The Beautiful and Beast ride was amazing. Truly love going here and it wasnt very busy so the ability to ride different attractions repeatedly was great!!
MoreWent very early to try to get the bypass for the most popular attractions, also going very early in the morning will allow you to visit one or two popular attractions without bypass before it gets crowded. Also, I was lucky to get admitted to meet Mickey in his home. The Disney app is essential to utilize your time much better and visit as many attractions as possible.By all means the electric parade shouldn’t be missed. Breath taking carnival of flights fracturing Disney’s most classic heroes. Then, at 8 pm the fireworks near the Cinderella castle are amazing, even if it lasted for 5 minutes only.
MoreNice place for one day trip. You will love it whether you are disney fan or not. The only issue is long waiting lines and huge crowds. Plan your schedule accordingly
MoreIt was an amazing experience during this pandemic but Japan as always strict and weird rules on everything, example to buy a PS5 you have to win a lottery to buy one and the same applied on Disneyland (lottery to reserve a place on any famous attraction.I tried my luck but unfortunately I didnt get it.
MoreI loved it!! It was great to see some things that Disneyland took out in California here in Japan. It was magical so magical and everyone is so helpful and polite. As is Disney tradition the park is very clean and the food is amazing. It was a wonderful day for me to spend a whole day at Tokyo DisneaSea. The magical amusement park that you must visit when you stay at Tokyo. You need to arrive here in the morning, especially if you want to try all playground. one of the happiest places on earth indeed. all rides are amazing. everything is well maintaned. things are organized. i love every second spent there, and will definitely go back.
MoreDuring Corona they are handling it super well, lots of precautions and theyre still super friendly but just not as hands on. Many rides are closed and some food stands too ~ But it is still a very magical time! - There are still many parades and meetings but youre not allowed to go too close and there are markers to where you need to stand. They take your Temp at the security gate too. Its also alot less busy than usual! (BooHoo..Also yay! CHRISTMAS!!!! (I went just before the Third wave on the 9th of December so Im not sure if things got stricter from there.I hope i was of use!
MoreIf I could give this 6 stars I would. This park is the perfect combination of Disney magic and Japanese imagination. The food selections are supremely tasty, the cast members are polite and super helpful. The English is limited so it’s a smart idea to have some sort of translation available (shout out to Google Translate). The merchandise is unlike anything you will see here in the US. My favorite part of the whole experience is the crowds. Polite and organized! Buying the ticket can be a bit tricky. My best recommendation (outside of buying a ticket at the parkis stopping at a Disney Store in the area and buying it there. Overall Tokyo Disney is a must for any adventure seeking Disney fan!
MoreA fantastic resort that you dont have to add any comment. There are two separate parks, Sea part is more suitable for adults, while Land part is more suitable for kids. But there is one annoying part that there are too many people, which will make you to wait a long time especially hot ammusuments.
MoreWe were at Disney Sea near the end of January. While the park is beautiful and the staff are amazing the number of guests in relation to the number of rides makes it less enjoyable. The queues for everything were long, including getting into the park in the first place. If you can get a Fast Pass make that your priority. We waited 30 mins for the Indiana Jones ride in the single rider queue (the normal queue was 2 hours). For Journey to the Centre of the Earth we had to wait 2 hours. We wanted to go on Tower of Terror but didnt have time to wait in its 2hr 20 queue. We just had to make do with walking around the different areas of the park, which was fine. Overall we liked the park, but the queues!!!!!
MoreOnly took all the thrilled rides when we were there. Thankfully it was non peak season so the longest queue was two hours. Which is the main attraction. Stayed there till 8pm to watch the fireworks. It was a great experience. Yet it was cold too due to the typhoon .
MoreMarking this one off of my bucket-list! By far my favorite Disney park of all time. I Previously worked at Walt Disney world and have visited Disneyland Cali and Disneyland Paris and this is by far my favorite Disney Park i habe visited.. The place is huge.. it’s so well made and so impressive. The rides and shows are next level and the employees are extremely accommodating. Always wishing for more character experiences but enjoyed the character meetings I did encounter!
MoreDisney is Disney all over the world. The park is beautiful and carefully crafted. Its a wonderful visual experience, but insanely overcrowded. A long day at the park is enough for maybe four rides. We never waited less than an hour, and this was off season! I appreciate the craftsmanship of the place, but the lines are not worth it.
MoreThis is probably a controversial rating but in its current state, it just isnt with going. So much construction going on. Both castles are under scaffolding and plenty of the park is behind temporary walls. We went on a Tuesday which is probably the lightest times waiting for rides. 3-4 were closed for unknown reasons. The rides that were open were fun, like Star wars your and thunder mountain. My 8 year old had a great time. It was disappointing that everything seemed to be worked on at the same time but we were only in Tokyo for a few days. When it is fixed Im sure it is more of a 4 star place, just not right now. Remember to use fast passes wisely. get a pass for a ride and go so other stuff while waiting. Fast passes are Tiffany valid for an hour ago you can get around and do things with shorter wait times
MoreLoved it. Its ultimate fun. Recommend taking fast pass to enjoy every ride. Usually the waiting time is more. The best part was flying simulator. Would love to visit again.
MoreWow ! Amazing. Make sure you stay for the end of the day music and light show. Its a long day so try to make most of some of the bars while you wait. Was tough for us on the day we went as two rides were down for maintainence. Make sure you plan ahead and get your fast passes as soon as you can.
MoreHad a fantastic time here with the GF. The staff is very friendly to foreigners and it was insanely affordable including the food compared to the park back home in Anaheim. I highly recommend arriving as early as possible though as the lines to both buy a ticket and get in can be pretty crazy.Impressed with the food and drinks. Impressed with the rides and wait times. It was truly a magical day.
MoreNice place to visit. Make ylsure you bring extra cash to buy fast passes otherwise expect to waste 90 minutes or more to get into the main attractions. Average price for meals is between $15 and $25. Bring snacks and eat some where else when you leave the park.
