Centrally located luxury hotel. Super facilities. Heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi was really nice.

Do not get fooled by their 5 stars..this is a 4 star at best.The rooms are EXTREMELY OUTDATED and there isnt even a coffee machine in the room. You get an electric kettle with instant coffee that you have to pay $7 for. Amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste arent included either and you have to pay for those as well. The location is great and the bed is comfy but this hotel is WAY OVERPRICED. I have had better experiences at 3 star hotels.

During my stay in Seoul, Lotte Hotel has been my favorite hotel so far. From check in to check out, Ive received courteous service from the staff. Conveniently connected to the department store and its food court and restaurants, this hotel is in great location. I will come back definitely!

Overall good but sometimes wifi in the lobby was week. Rooms were small and there is no toothbrush. For breakfast we had to stand in queue.

Hotel is not a 5 star more like a 4 star. Room wasclean and Location is prime - close to myeong-dong which was really nice. What made this an awful experience for us is the other guest who would follow us around in the gym and would move my stuff from the bench. I went to tell the worker and he just brushed me off and said he was busy. The other issue was when we checked in the lady told us breakfast was not included but we could book it, so we did. Then when we asked two different people at the buffet if it was being charged to our room they BOTH said it was included. Skeptical, I went to the front desk girl and asked her if it was included and gave her my room number and she also said it was for one night so we decided to book a 2nd breakfast. Upon checking out the girl told us it was NOT included. Just so much misinformation at this hotel and the front desk staff were not friendly or helpful. Like others have mentioned the staff here is very xenophobic and racist. I would not recommend this hotel.

The facility and the room itself are decent. Location is great. The service is not, the dinning options are not, and the information provided by the front desk is NIL.They have several dinning options- all overpriced as expected. That’s would be fine if the quality was 5 star class. With the exception of La Sienne which is both the best value and the best quality, check the reviews of the other options in tower and you’ll see mediocre and way overpriced especially for Korea and even Seoul.The reason this place gets terrible is because i was never informed that the restaurant La Sienne, an amazing buffet restaurant with all you can eat 5 star quality items, is a reservation required restaurant. They say I checked in i was received without reservation. The next day, they have BOTH dinning sessions full, the whole night.Was never given ANY orientation to the hotel, dinning options or even a layout of the hotel from the front desk on arrival, nor was it volunteered by the concierge. Guess I got the “white round eyed devil” treatment huh? I get this is a Korean Hotel in Korea - but maybe just maybe hire ONE person who is comfortable with English to be actually helpful.As a result I was so mad I decided not to eat at all before I leave tomorrow. I will not return and will not recommend this hotel with any friends family or business colleagues. Go to the Westin or Hyatt, competent establishments.

Lotte hotel Seoul has good location and convenient transportation. Furthermore, Accomdation is so comfy and cozy, adding to that, Breakfast is outstanding with a variety of foods. Most of all, all staff are service-oriented, so friendly. That part was the most impressive one. I definitely visit again soon!

A lot of people crowded hotel, but for a reason.Its one of the places that anyone can invite and enjoy because of its friendly staff and easy access.Id like to recommend this place to my boss Sally, too. :)

It was so scary. They literally bullied me. I know they are big local company but they really made me feel like a second class citizen. My card didn’t work the first night after I paid full three night room fee, they almost kicked me out after I offered the only cash on my person.The next day- I literally called my bank, booked other things online to make sure I could stay. They told me their system would not even take my card number and then told me that ‘ this was the process’.It is sad to me because lotte is such an international company. They literally put Korea on the consumer product map globally.The only staff member who was kind was luke. The front desk manager was very xenophobic.I know it’s tough w the global tensions in Asia but as a fan of lotte and korea- I am so disappointed

The staff are friendly, it is directly connected to the department store, and it is close to the tourist attraction, so the location is the best. Breakfast was good, too, Im going to recommend it to my friend.

It was a great stay. The breakfast was good and I was very happy how the staffs were very kind and caring. I would love to come back again.

Very convenient location to get around in Seoul.

I stayed here in 2009. A beautiful hotel with great service! I must admit that staying at this hotel was literally life changing. My wife was staying here for business, initially, and I joined her for vacation.The rooms were great! The lighting under the bed inspired me to do something similar in my childrens rooms when they were young. They never woke us due to being scared of the dark! We both really liked the heated toilet seats and bidet. Something that I would have never tried or considered getting otherwise.My wife fell ill during our stay. She is originally from Hong Kong and so wanted congee, what she eats when unwell. The concierge explained that this was an uncommon food at local restaurants so called the chef at the restaurant upstairs. After explaining the dish and its ingredients, he/she made the best congee my wife has ever had, though on the pricey side. The shredded chicken in the congee changed how she made the dish since as well as how she now makes soup.The place was just excellent!

Great Service!Engagement ceremony at Toh Lim on the 37th floor, a Michelin Guide Seoul 2022 restaurant.Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful from the moment of arrival to departure.The room was spacious and view of Seoul city was extraordinary.

I stayed more than three times in this year bay the lotte hotels this the best hotel I ever stayed the locations in the center of soul city near the downtown the rooms was great big and had good few My booking was in the exclusive tower witch the VIP SECTION it has Owen front desk but at night you should go the main front desk the staff was nice

Thanks for your response. On the plus side the lifts are great and wait time minimal. Found a remote control to activate curtains. Pillows are too soft for my comfort and request for extra pillows during booking was not supplied.

It was wonderful to return to this property and to inhabit its public spaces after 40+ years. OmGosh what improvement, what incredible use of the space below - the shopping, the connection to the subway system and more.It was great to still find the waterfall and greenery out back of the primary lobby level restaurant.A sophisticated base for a stay in the heart of the capital.

Went there for staycation with friends. We got two adjoining rooms (for 4 ladieswith 4 beds for each. Great city view, fast service and nice location (which is located in the middle of Seoul). Hotel is walkable from the metro and all the well-known shopping centres and touristic places are walkable (if the weather isnt too hot). Very accessible to all places

Lotte Hotel is such a great hotel! Staff were so accommodating, and they speak English too which is very helpful for foreigners! They also offer a breakfast buffet. The rooms are so good! I love the bath tub and the shower in particular. The view from our room was great too!

No designated smoking area, one should walk down the street for 300 metres for a quick smoke in a very cold weather!

Deluxe Double Room.Wow! The rooms is very spacious located on higher floor like 26th or above. It has been while since I stayed at the hotel last time, it has all renovated, very new, you can expect better than you paid.The location is great, city center, shopping myongdong or Namdaemoon market, and sightseeing place like gyeongbokpalace and galleries or hanok , the room service food is wonderful. Connected to thr subway station, and Lotte department store. Complimentary Gymand complimentary swimming pool and Sulwhasoo spa is great, it has sauna,thouh not free.Very good value in July 2022!!!Two thimbs up and a100 % happy stay!!!Will definitely come back :)

A great hotel located in the heart of the city. Amazing view from the rooms, with sparkling clean beds and amenities.There is complimentary breakfast with a variety of different meal options. There is a Duty Free shopping centre on the first floor of the hotel.Recommended for stay with family. The staff is extremely pleasant and help with all processes.

The hotel is in a very good location to see Seoul. Buffet food is very delicious. The receptionist is kind in the lobby of the hotel. Its convenient to move because its connected to the subway station and department store.

Amazing Experience! I stayed here for the IKAA 2019 conference. As a Korean Adoptee, this was my first time visiting Korea. Staying at this hotel and having the IKAA conference here was phenomenal. The staff were so friendly and kind, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and theres a large cafeteria and department store in the basement and connected to it along with a bank and subway station! It was amazing! The location is great too as it was right next to Myeong-dong for shopping but I was also able to walk to the popular stream at night as well as Insadong to shop!

I visited ex-tower before, it was grateful experience for me. They can speak not only English but Japanese. And all clerks have kindness, smile, even-if good explaining. U can enjoy full of happiness. U won’t regret.

Very nice and clean, not cheap, the corridors are so thin though!Quiet and enjoyable, normally offer breakfast too.There are conference rooms, there is a cafeteria in the basement.A lot of Foreigners use this Hotel.

Ok impressive premises. Nice view. Good location. Slightly aged decoration. User interface and quality impression of the remote control for the curtains is a bit clumsy. I also recommend to schedule shower head maintenance soonest. The water did not fall straight in all holes and some of it was dripping through the seam. The heating of the water takes ages!Same issue with the card reader as all Lotte Hotel branches this far. In case of foreign mastercard credit/debit combination card the reader does not support fully functional card and the receptionist needs to type in the card number manually in reservation management user interface. Many receptionists are not familiar with this procedure and and it should be trained throughout the chain to all receptionists basic training unless the readers will be updated. Now it took additional 15 minutes at check out to get it done.
