Worth the 20 min detour from main highway. The falls are in themselves very beautiful. Theres some tables, cottages, and a swimming pool with natural water. I also liked the stairway down through the jungle into the ravine. Local inhabitants are interesting to meet. Also easy to drive to/from nearby Mapaso hot spring.

If you like nature with cheaper means of travel, this is the place for you. I recommend that you bring your own car for a convenient transportation.

Nice place to go with friends and family. Not so expensive. Have to bring your own food. And things you need, like soap and shampoo . Be ready for a long walk from the parking lot, going down to the pool, its about 270 steps going down to the pool. The falls is amazing. We love it❤❤❤

Since the earthquake in February 2017 there is only a swimming pool there. Cannot swim in the waterfall itself due to the damage. On the positive side was no entry fee. 6km drive from the highway, manageable journey but road is still under construction. Unfortunately monkeys and eagles in cages with no water, so bring a snack for them.
