Toast Espresso Bar - Cafe in Maryborough, Australia
Excellent coffee, including soy cap.
We were very fortunate to stumble upon Toast Espresso Bar in Maryborough. We both really enjoyed our coffee and were extremely impressed with the friendly customer service.
Excellent coffee from a small personal shop. Lovely outdoor seating area and they even cater for your pet.
Nice and clean, good service and quality food. Will be eating there again.
Super cute little gem. Good coffee, beautiful flavours in a lovely menu.
Wow! Banana bread, cheese and tomato toasties , scones and coffee and all absolutely excellent!! Quality and presentation were superb and the hostess was delightful. This place is a must!!
Met my wife and daughter here for a coffee. I had a delicious iced coffee which I highly recommend.
Decent food, good coffee.

What a great find. Lovely atmosphere and very clean. Food was excellent and coffee was hot. Definitely a yes xx
These guys know how to make coffee.Nice establishment, good service. Will be back.
I love that you can take your dog there & theyll bring out a little bowl of lovely tasting water.
This place was AMAZING as the staff were friendly and the cost of the items my family bought were relatively cheap for example the smoothies were ONLY $6.50 and i will totally recommend dining for lunch or maybe brrakfast! 100% 5 STARS!!!!
Good coffee. Quaint size. No big groups.
Nice coffee, good food, but a little expensive
We visited Maryborough today while holidaying at the Bay.The 1st cafe we came to was Toast Espresso Bar. Excellent++++ Coffee made as requested extra hot plus $10.00 for two decent size mugs. The staff were friendly and helpful providing support when I was unable to register on the Covid App.Very happy to recommend Toast.Alex and Louise
Wonderful cafe with welcoming atmosphere. Staff read our minds about how we wanted our mean served and in what order. Really considerate touches. Delicious toasted chicken and brie panini. Nice coffee and lovely carrot cake.
Excellent customer service, asked for my husbands coffee to be put in the fridge for 5 minutes to cool it down as it was too hot ! ... ( sore mouth after radiation treatment... they actually made him a fresh one at half the temperature. Thank you for this act of kindness .... excellent coffee too !
It was fine, not much choice but Im sure it will be better when covid isnt an issue. They were doing covid safe as much as you can when it is a small cafe.
Hi and how are you going today and I just want to say that toast has been amazing over the years and it is still the same awesome
100% reccommend the orange juice and the bacon and eggs. The half stack was less my speed because of all the sauce but It was okay. Toast does allow dogs and will give them a free pupachino on arrival.
The coffee was great - the service was fast and friendly. Comfortable seating and relaxed environment.
A small but cute cafe that makes pretty good coffee. There isnt a nice selection of food choices and the prices are reasonable.
Wow how good is Toast!! Were travelling with a dog & it can be a bit tricky finding somewhere to eat. Everyone was so friendly staff & customers. Really happy vibe, fab food & truly decent coffee. Pup a chino next visit!
Great service, with great food. I would definitely refer it to friends and visit again
Best coffee in Maryborough, good cafe style food & has some gluten free options, the staff are friendly and helpful, highly recommend this cafe.
Only had coffee to go. It was awesome!
Absolutely terrible service and attitude, selling pre-made sugar syrup mix as " mango passionyfruit smoothies " I had few sips and start to feel nausea, told the lady at the counter, she said " if you want something else you have to pay. " I think Its clear this is a take it or leave it place.
Good food, good coffee, friendly service.
Lovely Coffee, awsome Date & Walnut Cake, and as always, great service π€
The coffee is top quality and the fresh food is amazing. Staff are very friendly and remember your order when you come back next time
Great atmosphere. Great food. Very, good coffee
Iced latte is perfect size, coffee tastes great.I ordered the toast stack, but wanted ham instead of bacon or salmon and they were happy to do that. I was with my mum whos on a special diet and they were so helpful finding something she could eat.The food was delicious and fast to come out, and the staff so friendly! They are also environmentally friendly giving paper straws and offering better deals for bringing your own cup! Will definitely visit again! ππ
10:10 Great Coffee and Great Carrot Cake. Awesome atmosphere and fantastic freindly service, plus morning paper to read.
We tried to order an ham and cheese croissant cold. I mean, just not heated. The person couldnβt understand what I was asking, but at the end we thought that she did. While we were sitting, she came back and told us that they couldnβt serve it cold, it has to be a little heated. When the croissant finally arrived, it was completely toasted! We must be from outer space to want a cold room temperature croissant... We also took a chicken avocado panini. Well, avocado was pretty discreet...
Located in the CBD of town, if you can find a car park it is convenient. fairly bland atmosphere, but relaxed and easygoing. Seating is cramped, the space is very tiny inside, the outdoor seating is nice if you can get a breeze. The staff are friendly, and pleasant to deal with, however the energy didnt excite me. I like the simplicity of the menu, some simple options, like wraps and sandwiches and some small plated meals. In my opinion the food Ive had is not value for money. Bacon and eggs, Burnt Sandwich loaf toast, over cooked eggs and under-cooked bacon. One redeemer was the coffee, it was satisfactory. very mild bite, fairly neutral, with a kind of roast nutty aroma.Take it or leave it cafe.
Friendly service and basic but tasty food. But best of all, the coffee was fantastic. I was just passing through but it was a worthwhile stop.
Service was very friendly. Food options were a little limited. I had a toasted sandwich.it was fairly popular spot with locals and a great location
Very good coffee and food top service
Recommend the waffles, great taste and size. We also had the savoury mince which was tasty too :we didnβt overly enjoy the taste of the coffee. Staff were nice and helpful :)
Friendly, quick service. The coffee is great and the ambience nice. Needs a few more cushions though.
Great place to grab a coffee if you need to work on your laptop or meet colleagues for lunch in Maryborough. Popular with retirees & grey nomads. (Not ideal for people with prams, walking frames or wheelchairs)
After struggling to even find a Cafe that was open a came across Toast. It looked busy and that was good enough for me... Good reason too! I was greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The atmosphere was excellent and I felt so comfortable straight away. I looked at the menu and was surprised and somewhat wary of the prices. I ordered the Toast Stack with smoked salmon and a flat white. The flat white came first and was excellent, could not fault it. Then came my toast stack which was essentially an eggs Benny and I was looking at it wondering how they could make that for $13! It was delicious, eggs cooked perfect, again could not fault it. Turns out my wariness at the cheap prices was unfounded. What an excellent experience, I will be back.
Just had coffee and mini date loaf at Toast and was delicious. Friendly staff ..good selection of sandwiches and toasts. I would recommend this cafe to locals and visitors.
Really nice iced coffee. Sadly, the air-con is nearly non-excisting. Would not recommend for hot coffee or meal during a bloody hot day here unless you are capable for the heat.
All the potential of an award winning coffee (and perhaps deli ?shop. However the atmosphere is soured by the dismissive attitude of some of the staff. To my knowledge this the third time Toast has exchanged hands and I was witness to the business inception and the authentic owners respectively and their approach to business and customer service. It was not uncommon to have to queue outside the shop for a good part of fifteen minutes until being served and you were always served with a smile and civility. The presentation of Toast in its purity boasted confidence and levity thus attracting a kindred clientele. The new Toast however is melancholy in appearance at best and does not uphold the original values of diligence to presentation or customer service, "with the exception of the clique", in which case you are overwhelmed with a stylised display of cordiality. Menus are lazily shelved in an open container at the front desk when there is a well appointed glass sign board on which some scratchings of past promotion was attempted and since forgotten. With a bit of will power and creativity that could transpire to a bold and practical way to patronise your business, with refreshing new breaky delights and luncheons too. Extending on the breakfast topic for the sake of tradition, typically eggs Benedict is served with sour dough and spinach with two poached eggs, I have experienced an oddity to this little number at Toast with the sour dough being replaced by Turkish and the poached eggs replaced with fried, the spinach sadly drowned in tasteless hollandaise sauce and served with a scowl, and when asked about an iced water I was told in no uncertain terms that there was a water dispenser in the corner indicated with a sharp finger and tone to boot. I am familiar with the ethics of business protocol and customer service and this is not the best way to attract return business and encourage new customers. To succeed in business you have to do the extraordinary and set the precedent, not falter to the common. With all respect to Toast and its foundling staff the coffee is very good and at this stage it is by default its own competition.
Great little cafe, good coffee, good vibe, appreciate the gf food labeling and they also had what looked like a great selection of sandwiches for those of us non gluten challenged ;)
Finally found a cafe with coffee to match that from my local Italian deli/cafe in Sydney. The food was also excellent too. I will return
Stopped here for lunch halfway through my trip to Brisbane. Decent coffee, and very tasty toasted sandwich. Top quality service as well.
Friendly Staff and Always Busy, which is a sign of a good Cafe! Greek Almond Shortbread is truly awesome, especially with a Tall Skinny Latte with Vanilla Syrup. :)
