Titanium Bar and Bistro in Launceston

Meals were nice although overpriced for what is on the plate, we shared an entree due to price, my husband had a steak (no price on menuIt was served with fried potatoes and a jus, no salad or even garnish, sides have to be purchased separately. The cost of the steak was $50 it was approx 200-250g Porterhouse I had the Lamb backstrap with smashed potatoes and a Jus again no salad or garnish. The meal was nice but for $36 I would have expected more than 4 small pieces of Lamb. Staff were not very attentive choosing to stand behind the bar and chat, waitress called us Darl when she did appear not very classy, dessert was nice sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce, maybe a tablespoon of sauce was on the plate. Decor was nice,closing at 8pm seems odd on a Saturday night. Nice food but overpriced! Staff could be better.

There was approximately 40 people including children, in a group who had a set menu that cost each adult $49.Orders were taken then we were told that our orders were not correct when they served as people had missed out.Food took so long to arrive to the table even though it was a set menu.Staff served the last table who had ordered first with their meals, served across patrons instead of from the left, then could not work out who was still waiting for their meal.Absolutely disgusted that we had to pay $1:50 per plate for cake and then :50 extra per person for staff to cut each slice of cake.Will not be recommending anyone to dine here. Below par from our last visit before COVID.

The Bar Manager is extremely Helpful, Friendly & a real pleasure to deal with. Family friendly venue. Great for drinks & dinner with family & friends.

The food was good here I got the steak and warm potato salad and my wife the chicken parmi. The steak should come with more than the potato salad though but the waitresses were fantastic lovely friendly and accommodating for my wife and I will be back.

Came here for my friends hens dinner and was very disappointed 😞 arrived for our booking at 7.30 to be told kitchen was going to close at 8No one came to take our drinks order so we had to go upto the bar to get some bottles of wine. Then no one came to ask us for further drinks orders the whole timeFood was also very average and overpriced. A few of us had the tofu and salad which was flavourless and powdery and the salad was tiny. Also one girl ordered a medium rare steak and it was served blue.We would easily have spent couple hundred on cocktails between our group of 10 so they missed out because of their poor service.

We stayed at the Mercure so it was only fitting that we visit the Titanium for dinner. Not real good Im afraid. The calamari was cut in huge strips and way over cooked and my fish was muddy and tasted like Mullet. The only thing that was good about the Titanium Bar was the lovely lady that runs the place and the big Margarita they made me.

A pleasant setting with helpful and friendly staff. A limited menu but everything was well presented and value for money.

Service was extremely poor.Waiters wouldn’t even smile. Felt very “get in and get out”Asked for side plates (table of 6)they gave us a stack of plates (10+ and 50 napkins dumped on the table.45 minute wait for cheese bread entrees.No rapport or friendliness from the staff.Staff were very rude from the minute they approached the table.If you’re after a nice night out for dinner with the family or friends, you might as well go to maccas drive through for better service.

Shocking service.Extremely long wait for food.One waitress with dark hair would cut you off when speaking (ordering foodin a rude manner.The teenage workers at coles give you a friendlier welcome than the waiters here.10/10 don’t recommend.

Not happy..booked dinner for 7pm..didnt receive any food for at least an hour and then shortly after asked if we would like coffee as the machines were being turned off. Everything went dark soon after and its not even 9pm yet. RUDE

We had an amazing dinner! Thanks to the friendly staff! Friendly and very welcoming. Cocktails were yummy! The accommodation was very clean and the staff were more than accommodating.

Had a large group booked in for a 50th last night. The staff at Titanium went above and beyond the entire night to ensure the birthday girl and her friends and family enjoyed themselves. The meals were all perfect, the environment was friendly and clean and all staff were happy, friendly and had a laugh. Will definitely go back and highly recommended!

My goodness, the breaksfast was absoultely deliciuous, the service was something else. The service, I mean service, 5 star quality service, Polly you know I am referring to you! Polly is really made out for this work. A smile, service, and wow, is that girl knowledgable on the sights to see in Launceston. If you are going to Launceston, you really need to visit the Titanium Bar and find Polly. Polly we thank you so very much for your 5 star service service this morning and the other 3 days we were there. You really know you service delivery. I have been to the titanium bar several times and I have enjoyed it immensely. The staff are very friendly and helpful plus the food was excellent. Id definitely recommend it to everyone

Think the food has gone down hill a bit sorry. actually the chicken in my parmi was the only thing that saved the meal chips not that good salad that great cheese on the parmi not great

We stayed at the Mecure. Restaurant was downstairs & we ate there all 3 nights due to us being too tired to find anywhere else; meals here were scrumptious & good size proportions. Can sit in restaurant, bar or outside but bar area is dimly lit, need a table with better lighting. Bit expensive $23-38 mains. Side dishes $7. First night was really slow but 2nd & 3rd nights were quick. We shared our meal last night of stay & it was sufficient with a single side of vegies. Edward at the bar was polite & knowledgeable about places to visit.

Food was good and atmosphere was ok. Service was lacking, i think they were under the pump. Only two front of house staff and the restaurant was booked out.

The service was sub par. The staff only came by twice and that was to take our order and to drop the food off. It blows my mind that a paying customer can not take food out unless they are staying in the hotel especially with how over priced the food is. The fish and chips was beyond bland and tasteless the steak was cold and flavorless overall I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone youre better off finding another place and not getting ripped off

The kitchen closes at 8:30pm and the restaurant does not open for lunch or dinner on Sundays so we were only able to sample the breakfast meal. The continenal breakfast is $16. We had the continental breakfast with a hot dish which was $25. The hot dish was good and included bacon, eggs, toast, tomatoes and hash browns.The continental breakfast buffet had a small selection of food. Dont expect it to be anything like you would see at the larger hotels. It was basic. The coffee included with the buffet not good. Perhaps consider spending a few dollars more to order a barista made coffee.

Maybe didnt read menu too well, but...steak came with semi roasted potatoes....and thats it. I was given the wrong steak....had to swap with the one my husband was given and it really did need the steak knife....not good enough.

Rude. Slow. Ordered breakfast forgot our eggs. Ordered waffles came out with no toppings. Ordered burger came out raw told by manager it was our fault we didn’t tell them how to cook.

Some of the best food in town.The staff were great nothing was ever an issue and went above and beyond.Thanks it made the trip away from home go fast.Steaks were perfectly cooked to order

Really nice atmosphere, complimented by a great selection of dishes and some rotating craft beer taps. Great steak and trevalla.As an Accor hotel restaurant the discount as an Accorplus member made this very affordable as well.We will dine here regularly when visiting Launceston.

We had mezza plate to share then burger and steak for main.. Amazing genuine service and fantastic food... A hidden gem.

Staff always helpful and food was awesome!!!! Large portions well worth the price. My terrible pics do not do justice to the food. Would highly recommend if youre looking for a hearty brunch just next to city park
