Fácil acceso en los últimos kilómetros si viajas en 4x4 o motocicleta, un lugar tranquilo y fresco, perfecto para relajarse.

Fuimos 1 día para descubrir y caminar a la reserva Tisey-Estanzuela.Esta bien, pero no hay mucho que ver o hacer.Nos cobraron 20Co per persona para 2 miradores que estan muy cerca (5min de caminata).Uno es un basurero y las ojas de algunas plantas y árboles alrededor fueron utilizadas para hacer graffiti.El chico a la entrada nos ha dicho que podiamos ir un poco mas lejos hasta un pequeño cerro, para tener una linda vista. Pero antes de llegar a este cerro, pasamós cerca de una casa grande en el campo. Una señora salió y quería cobrarnos 1$ cada uno por pasar por el camino en frente ! Ella nos dijo que este cerro pertenecía a su finca y que entonces, teníamos que pagar.No hemos pagado y no fuimos al cerro.Podemos entender que nos cobran para acceder a una reserva de naturaleza.Lo que no podemos entender es que esta reserva sea un basurero igual que en muchas otras partes del país. Y que las plantas están molestadas por graffitis.Si no mantienen un buen estado del lugar y si no educan a la gente para respetar la naturaleza, para que pagamos ?! A que cosa sirve este dinero ?

Experiencia bonita. No lo recomiendo para personas de la tercera edad pues el camino desde el parqueo a la cascada es algo accidentado. Podrían ponerse basureros para evitar que la gente ensucie.

A los amantes de la naturaleza les encantará, un lugar lleno de paz lejos de la urbe. En la cima del cerro se tiene una vista impresionante de la zona, se ve perfectamente la ciudad de Estelí y si tiene suerte y hay buen clima podrá ver el volcan Momotombo. Recomendacion: El trayecto final a la reserva, unos 4km aprox., es trocha por lo que es preferible ir en una 4x4, con las llantas en buen estado por que el terreno es bien pedregoso. Yo fui en un Kia Picanto y llego bien pero a una velocidad de 10km/h que hizo que el trayecto se sintiera más largo de lo normal. A la salida de la reseva hay un comer donde puede comer rico a buen precio, frijoles cocidos, crema, cuajada, tortilla o sopa de gallina. Cerca de aquí esta la finca El Jacalate a la que se puede entrar geatuitamente para admirar las esculturas de don Alberto las cuales ha tallado en el cerro.

Good walking trails

Excelente lugar y lo recomiendo ampliamente. Sobretodo por el tema del apoyo al turismo ecorural de la población y el apoyo a las pequeñas empresas turisticas que necesitan del apoyo. Si vas a visitar. Compra algo en las tiendas locales come en los lugares locales y si puedes comparte y difunde sobre el mismo.

一個值得探尋美景之地。農場裡面有很多的細節，可能是小草，可能是花叢，可能是一處森林角落，也可能是遠眺的風景。因為是山區，很適合旱季的時候全家出遊，一個悠閒的上午，或者愜意的下午，都是不錯的選擇，但是所以如果天氣陰雨就不推薦。這裡有登高望遠的觀景平台，也有繁殖苗木的花圃，農場主人非常和善，如果對植物有什麼疑惑都可以詢問，當然，如果你喜歡他所栽培的小花，也可以購買。

Increible.Ahí en esa reserva natural está "El Jalacate" del ermitaño don Alberto, escultor de piedras, es un mirador.También está "La Cascada La Estanzuela", fenomenal.Recomendados para visitar.La vegetación es espléndida.Yo disfrute un día entero.No hay transporte público, puede ser en vehículo privado o a pie.

The splendor of this place has been reduced. The water fall is almost inexistent, however the place remains beautifull.

Went to the waterfall. About 5km from the hospital/panamerican highway. Nice views along the way. Can get very dusty as cars drive by. It costs 20 cordobas to go to the waterfall. Waterfall was lovely but the area around it was in need of some upkeep. Lots of trash all around and an overflowing trash can. The area surrounding the pool is rocky so its a bit uncomfortable to go barefoot. Bring water shoes if you want to play in the pool.

This was pretty cool but it was even better to go check out Alberto down the road about 20 minutes (east). This was a really easy walk that pretty much anyone could do. There was a nice man on the left side of the road before getting into the reserve area that you can go and have coffee with. No price, we just left a nice tip. He spoke only Spanish but was animated so you could get the idea. You dont need a guide for this. Walk around and look for the rock carvings. 20 Cordoba to get in. If you go to Alberto, its a steep 1km walk down to his place but is totally worth every sweaty step. And there is a shop at the top of his entrance that you can get refreshments (even a tona).

The rain forest of pine trees 🌲 it is so stunning, win is strong and sounds when it strike the Pines, trail is made by the communities and also you can enjoy the landscape, you can see the mountains range!!

Was very quiet and very few people in the area. It was evident that the area was well kept & artwork was all around in the natural rock

Drove near to the Estanzuela falls and hiked for about 20 minutes. 4x4 advised. The area gets full especially during holidays and the falls almost dies out to a trickle during the summer months. Water doesnt look too clean and garbage from visiting folks can be seen strewn around. Cool weather, nice views.
