Tipsy Dragon Bar in Taipei

Fantastic bar, great value for money, owner and his wife are excellent hosts. Selection of drinks is decent, the whole place is well taken care of and imo the happy hour is unbeatable in all of Taipei! Now my favorite place to go for drinks and banter, highly recommend!

Quaint place to spend a chill evening with 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 tap beer choices. Warm people and good food. For those who wants a little kick, try the IPA from the taiwan brewery. A little piece of heaven for those who can’t speak mandarin as they are very fluent in English 😁

Good beers on draft and in bottles with a rotating menu, as well as good bar food. Owner is extremely friendly and puts in the extra effort to make sure everyone is having a good time.Its both a great spot for a drink in a neighborhood bar, and also is the sort of bar you used to find when you came to Asia and Taiwan in particular and wanted to meet new friends.Another great bonus is the prices are fairly low compared to other places in the city, and what youre drinking can be hard to get elsewhere too.Have been numerous times and will continue going, because its a good hangout spot and is worth the few extra steps from an MRT station it takes to get there.

I come here once a month. Love the Lichee Baby drink and buffalo popcorn chicken. 👌👌👌

Really friendly bartender (who is also the owner). My favorite place to go to after the Taiwanese braised pork drunk food right next door. Has mixed drinks and all that jazz, but the best part is the large selection of craft beers at a good price. You can get great beer for under 200 NT.

This bar has the a great assortment of craft beer and a nice cocktail list. The owners are extremely convivial and provide excellent service. This is a great stop off before or after going out for the evening.

In my adventures as a freshly minted 21 year old American I have yet to walk into a drinking establishment and been immediately full of joy and excitement and have a feeling of serenity all in the same wave of emotions. That was, until of course, I entered the Tipsy Dragon. From the incredible hand drawn art work on the door upon entrance drawing you to this establishments entry point to the friendly face you meet upon walking through these doors. The drinks are poured with a heavy hand and a smile and the chairs are comfortable; what more could you ask for? Don’t worry the Tipsy Dragon has answered this question for you. The opportunity for a relaxing evening awaits here, as well, the opportunity to meet your future significant other does as well. My night is young and full of terror but I’m signing off. Just remember, you can milk anything with nipples. Point is theres no formula to eating tomatoes.-jeffe

Cosy atmosphere and the bartender whos also the owner has an amazing personality. There are lot of options for drinks but I personally liked the array of crafted beers that were available: tea, lychee and cucumber beers.
