Tinagong Dagat Island Resort in Sipalay

Sipalay didnot failed my expectation! First time but not the last. A day tour of Sipalay is not enough but worth it!!! Latasan have an unbelievable sights!!

Rooms prices are affordable. Great place to relax.

The room was nice. it has its own pool where you and your friends can enjoy swimming. The pool has an overlooking view of the ocean. You can enjoy swimming in the pool without getting a sunburn.

This place is awesome yet probably needs a maintenance. Definitely a worth to visit for picture taking specifically in the Bridge which is a link to Latasan Resort.

We had a room on the topmost floor and so our view of the hills and the seas was uninterrupted. The place needs some little maintenance but overall, I was impressed and I had a good time.

Some portions are unfinished or destroyed. But the natural areas are breathtaking.

You pay for the experience/view, not the room lolTinagong dagat resort is the same as Latasan resort by the way, but Latasan is the old portion. It has big rooms, but no hot water and the pool at the entrance is not bring kept up so it is shut down, so expect a rough experience. The bed cushion and blanket are thin also.I dont regret going for this experience because its nice and relaxing but it feels like a backpacker experience or more for locals if you arent into that.Price is good for the area and the view.I will go to stay at the new portion tomorrow night but my review still stands for the area. The new rooms do have hot water to thats a plus.

Theres no much activity you can do here aside from kayaking and Island hopping since the beach is not that good for swimming but they do have a couple small pools where you can have a dip. But, I highly recommend this place if you wanted to find solitude and some alone time or an escape from the busy city life. Just more than 3 hours drive from Dumaguete City. Room prices are very affordable.

Travelled more than 6hrs from Dumaguete City and when we get there my partner and me both liked the place but disappointed when realized that the pools were just for the checked-in guests only yet we had our brunch there and stayed for like 3-4 hours and I havent seen groups or solo swimming in the pool around that hour. But entirely, the place was really beautiful and relaxing.

A very beautiful place with breathtaking rock formations , bridges, pools and spectacular views. This is a great place to take your family a romantic stroll. I really enjoyed visiting this place. It is a little bit of walking so be prepared especially if you want to go to the top viewing deck. The entrance fee was very reasonable and there all rooms to rent. If you are in sipalay all visiting this area I definitely recommend this place!

There are some secret bases for you to sit and to contemplate. The fees should be more transparent, that is some places have indications while others dont have.

Island resorts but you cant literally swim on the beach because its too shallow with lots of sea weeds and muddy. There are areas that are crystal clear but not accessible. This place so nice to stay for overnight if you want to relax from stress. Scenery I’m so amaze for the beauty. It is worth it to stay just to relax. Food is reasonable price. Swimming pool nice and cold. Beach “Dagat” Not fit for swimming it so muddy.

Beauty at the TOPSo when we arrived in Tinago Dagat Island earlier today, I was bit disappointed. It seems like the place is not maintained and somehow felt that this is another EXPECTATION VS REALITY thing, but boy! I was so wrong. And I am glad I was wrong.DISTANCEFrom the Terminal Station there are plenty of tricycle driver who will assist you and bring you to your destination for commuters. So Tinago is 10-20 minutes away from the Terminal. Take note, rough road.ENTRANCE FEEAdults 30KIDS 20SPOTSYou need to cross the bridge then the hanging bridge, YES. You read it right. Its not swinging that much though but please heed my warning. 😂😂😂 Since my dear friend (Roshfelt dizzy and didnt reach the TOP because of that. So, before you reach the top youd see 2 adjacent infinity pool. The view is SPECTACULAR. Again the real beauty is located at the top. So you need to walk all the way up to appreciate the place and I was blown. You gotta go there to see for yourself.PRICESYou only need to pay 20/pax going to TINAGO. A peaceful, picturesque and comfortable place to stay. Staff were willing and courteous. Unique views. Parking was was messy but is currently being improved. Not a place for sea swimming. Food can be ordered from the sister restaurant nearby and is delivered for a small charge.

If you want peace and quiet that will not burden your wallet, this is one place to go among the many delights of Sipalay. Literally hidden from the beaten path, one will be enthralled by the sudden promise of escapism at the sight of verdant islets sprinkled in the emerald water. To add an extra magic to the already organic experience, one has to traverse wodden and bamboo bridges connecting these islets. Its worth the almost 5 hours of travel from Bacolod City!

6 times went to this place with my frieds and relative nice view for photo shot, and they have also room to stay restaurant to eat swim if you want to swim afordable rate

Nice play to stay eapecially if your in a group. The downside is that, they only have 3 Kayak.

This was littelry the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life.My family and I had made reservations prior to our arrival and sent the owner money for the deposit. When we arrived at the front gate of the resort the young lady who was at the front gate charged us an entrance fee. Why in the world would you charge an entrance fee to the guests who are staying at your resort? Really!!?I went ahead and paid the fee and we entered the resort. The first impression was that the complex really needed some renovation, but I looked past it because it was a cheap room.The first thing we all did after entering the resort was eat at the restaurant. The food did not taste very good, the customer service was not very good and the restaurant ran out of water. This made no sense to me. If you are the manager of a resort in the Philippines where its usually 90 degrees Fahrenheit and extremely humid why would you not keep large amounts of water in stock?We then checked into our room which was the most uncomfortable bed Ive ever slept on in my life. It was basically a piece of wood with an old cushion on top of it, like the kind that you would put on a seat to sit on. The bathroom was also awkward and dirty. Then when you use the toilet you have to fill up the back where the pump is before you can flush it again. I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst back ache.The next morning we went to have breakfast and I ordered the Filipino breakfast with chicken tocino. The breakfast took over 30 minutes to deliver to the table which usually wouldnt be a big deal but we were the only customers in the restaurant. When the breakfast was delivered everything was cold especially the egg. When I say cold I dont mean like they cooked it and didnt deliver it to us and thats why it was cold, I mean Im pretty sure they took it out of refrigerator because it was 85 degrees Fahrenheit that morning and the Egg was probably about 50 degrees Fahrenheit in temperature. We explained this to the girl at the restaurant and she had nothing to say about it whatsoever.Needless to say we checked out that day and went to another Resort close by. Just so you know the Latasan Isalnd Resort is also part of this complex. I would strongly recommend everybody steer clear of this place. There are many resorts in the area which are much better for just a little bit more money. Trust me when I tell you its worth it to spend the money and stay somewhere else. I have included some pictures in this review so that everybody can see the room.

Tinagong Dagat’s breathtaking views are just waiting for you to be discovered.It is located at Barangay 4 and it’s a kilometer away from the city center of Sipalay. For P30 entrance fee, you’ll get more than what you paid for.Tinagong Dagat means “hidden sea”. The body of water there is literally secluded by limestone walls. In the middle of the secret bay, there’s an islet which can be accessed via footbridge. And since the place is enclosed, the water there is calm.One of the highlights of the resort is its 150-meter footbridge/hanging bridge which connects the islet to Latasan or Tinagong Dagat Extension. From there, there are boats available for island hopping. You can also relax and swim to the resort’s fresh and saltwater pools.Rooms are also available for rent, especially for overnight stay. They were located at different place to avoid affecting the natural beauty of the mountain, as well as to provide more privacy to guests. Every room is facing the sea — perfect view to end the day and start anew.But if you really want to unveil more of the place’s hidden wonder, climb at the hilltop for about 123 steps. After burning some calories, prepare to be amazed to the scenery up there.As said earlier, make sure to visit Tinagong Dagat when going to Sipalay. Not only you’ll find the place blissful but will also lead you to commune with nature.

Our adventure in La Isla Bonita was EXCELLENT! Entering the gate, we were caught by a heart-warming sight of a little island surrounded by the bluish waters. Snorkeling was the first thing that entered my mind. La Isla Bonita is a newly-developed resort. The newly-painted walls, carefully arranged cottages and the color of the tiles prove it. In this resort, you have an option whether you to swim amidst the clear sea waters or bathe in the man-made pool built in front of the island. The view was perfect.
