Time Out Pizza - Restaurant in Los Alamos, United States
Sadly, Time Out has lost its pizza making talents. While I still think it is better than Dominos or Papa Murphys, they seem to have stopped trying. When they had to leave their last location, I feel like it really put a dent in their business, which is such a bummer. Local real estate sinking yet another business! Boo!Fun local pizza joint with salad bar and arcade. Pool! Foozball! Pac-Man! Pizzais tasty, best in town.
I totally loved the pizza and salad bar and the atmosphere was awesome really glad I was refered to this place and customer service was great!❤
Unfortunately, the man that runs the register needs to cut the attitude and appreciate his customers. I dont know why a person feels the need to be condescending and flat out rude to customers, especially those that dont live in Los Alamos and dont frequent the restaurants that often. I havent been in over a month and the cashier was upset that we didnt have cash (they are cash only nowand he had to take a card payment. My dad wanted the lunch special -small pizza and salad. the cashier proceeded to tell my dad that they dont have that special in a very condescending and "you must be stupid" kind of tone. Should have went to El Parasol or Smiths seeing as this wasnt the first time this guy has acted this way. The company I work for has big meetings there from time to time and after today I will be advising my boss to go elsewhere, Dominos I guess. Customers are key to your doors staying open, respect them.
The kids working at this place are understaffed, but they managed to get my large meatball pizza done in ten minutes. This is the perfect place to go after Bandelier National Monument.
Ordered a pizza and a pound of wings because you cant order two pounds. The atmosphere felt out of place, the arcade is 50% out of order and it was quite dark. The pizza was okay, wings were a good size and tasted okay, but my order of 1 pound of wings consisted of 6 wings weighing a total of half a pound without the ranch and box. Probably going to dominos next time.
Havent tried the food yet but I offended the woman in the kitchen by ordering two orders of wings... (One for myself and one for my husband). Apparently youre only allowed to order one order of wings ...I was scolded for ordering two (like I worked there or somethingafter I had already paid and given them my business. Absolutely horrible feeling like I should apologize for giving them my business. No wonder no one else was there on a Friday night.
Their Pizza is pretty good but their Calzones and Cinnamon Desert is amazing! Just be aware calzones are only served during lunch time but are 100% worth going out of your way. They also have daily calzones so give them a call to see what the daily calzone is.I havent tried the cheese or garlic bread. Will next time.
Best pizza place in town, plus they have an arcade!
Pizza was delicious. We brought our family of 7 and grandparents. Ordered 4 pizzas, and a salad. On the TV there were music videos playing with women who were barely clothed. We requested it to be changed or turned off twice. The first time we were told no. 2nd time we were told "in a little bit." Not a child friendly atmosphere. We will not return to eat inside.
The food is kind of meh. The owner came off as rude. Why were my breadsticks like eating salt?
Not as good as it was in its older establishments but still a amazing pizza parlor to have pizza. Very delicious and well made
Excellent pizza friendly service. I left my credit card on the counter and did not realize it the owner herself called me and waited for me to return after they were already closed. Did I mention the pizza was absolutely excellent I will definitely return.
this used to be delicious but I think they changed the recipe to use cheaper ingredients and it’s just not good anymore. If you want more customers you gotta go the extra mile to make your food taste so good that they have to recommend it to their friends and come back for more. I also find the new location/setup of the restaurant to be less inviting than the old one was
Inconsistent pizza quality. Sometimes its quite good and sometimes its fine. Nice service and environment.
Very good service and a nice change from Dominos. The food is good!!! Love supporting small businesses.
Great food! Best pizza in town!
Best pizza ever!!! Personnel pan size hits the spot. Cant wait for full on in dining. They have amazing set up for kids. Lots of games.
Sometimes you can tell all you need to know about a place by the fact that their ketchup packets are some no-name off brand.
Friendly people and best pizza in town!
Great pizza !!! Very affordable! And friendly staff I highly recommended this place!
Love the green chili pizza!
I dont know what happened to this place. The service was excellent and promt. I am happy with that. Yesterday just before ordering pizza, I was bragging on the place about how good the dough was to my coworker. It was light and fluffy and chewy. Perfect pizza dough. I was also explaining how difficult it is to make dough at this elevation. That is how my pizza was last week. This week the dough was flat and seemed a little undercooked. It was like eating pizza toppings on pita or flat bread. I am very dissapointed. Did they forget the yeast? Did they fire the person with the dough magic? Did the dough magic person quit? All I know is, if the perfect dough doesnt come back, neither will I.
Delicious! My sister brought me a veg pizza with pepperoni. I havent had pizza since the lockdown started, so it was a treat! Tasty & yummy! Thanks, Time Out Pizza!
Wrong address was given online so had to drive around to find it..... pizza was good too bad it wasnt hot anymore... $27 pizza
No chicken wings, they only make two sandwiches, they dont deliver, website hasnt been updated in a couple of years, its expensive for sub-par ketchup on frozen dough with toppings.
Youre not going to find better Pizza than this in New Mexico. Take it from a New Yorker, this place makes a great pizza. I had almost given up hope so grateful that they are here.
Our first time eating at the new location. Rated it a solid 4-stars. Pizza was good! Staff was friendly! Will return! The only thing contrary....some free-range children were playing "combat" air hockey in the game room. The puck came flying into the dining area a time or two and the screeching rose to a level where one might wonder if they were beating each other! Good news....there wasnt any blood and they were all smiles as they ran through the dining area to secure more dollar bills for the game!As I said, well be back because their actual pizza served to us tonight looked as good as the pizza shown on their website! Reason enough for us to go back!P.S. Google had a hard time pinning the location down. It wants to take you back by the former location. Just turn in by the Post Office and go all the way back to the rear courtyard shopping area, if youre new like us.
I love their salad bar 💚 their pizzas always turn out great too
Great pizza, would give 5 stars if they could square cut it.
Good pizza, good burgers.Friendly service.Arcade games to the side.TVs with sports, news etc.Has a salad bar.
Tasty pizza, friendly staff. They were pretty under-staffed so the wait was a little long
Tried calling to order take away, no one answered. I drove there instead because I still felt like pizza still even if it was gonna take some time out of my day. I arrived and there was 2/12 tables filled, I was confused why they were too busy to answer the phone. I sat down because there is no sign saying "order at the counter" or something similar or a "please wait to be seated". After waiting 10 minutes expecting wait staff of some sort someone came in after me and I discovered that you are indeed expected to go to the counter to order.
This is a pizza joint in Los Alamos, a town that only has one non chain pizza restaurant. You can get what you ask for, without any drama, unlike the corporate places that dont know what to do unless youre request falls within the parameters that they have programmed into their kiosks or terminals.Omar is a fantastic owner, he actually cares about his customers.
Delicious! Had the Half Time and the green chili cheese bread. Loved it!
I like their thin crust best, and they make 7" personal pizzas (up to four toppings)! Casual atmosphere good for families with kids.
Go local! Great pizza to eat in or take out (take or home or over to bathtub brewing). Non greasy with fresh ingredients. About $20 for a 16 inch time out (basically a supreme pizza). Cool arcade games to play while you wait, which wasnt long. Crust is nice and soft and chewy.
The half time pizza was on point. So good! As a point of reference a 14" was perfect for two.
Local pizza shop with good pizza and a salad bar. They have a game room with air hockey and games, so the place can be loud at times, but its a fun family environment. Try the wings! Service can sometimes be slow when the dinner rush is on, but good pizza takes time. Delivery service is spotty, depending on whether or not the have sufficient staffing.
Great family place! The pizza was awesome and the game room so much fun!
The lunch special is a great value and the salad bar is well stocked. Sports atmosphere with a lot of TVs.
We love the concept behind Time Out Pizza. Trish and Omar have huge hearts and are more focused on quality than profits. Time Out Pizza is our pizza place!
My husband and I come here maybe twice a month for lunch. We split a 7 inch pizza and each get the salad bar and a drink. We try to keep carbs to a minimum so splitting the 7 inch gives us each a little bit of pizza as a treat every so often. We have found it is best to get there early for lunch as it can get quite busy by noon and the hubby has limited time. We both greatly enjoy the salad bar and as far as we know its the only one in Los Alamos.
We enjoy coming here for lunch or dinner. The service is quick and friendly and there is a great family atmosphere
Great Pizza with Pool tables and video ganes
Pretty gross! Service was crappy as was the food. Everything is overpriced...the hamburger was $7 and it was worth about $1. I had the chicken parmigiana sandwich and it was disgusting. The meat had gray mushy parts and the patty was burnt. Do not eat here if youre passing through!
Great food. Slow service. Noisy. Great views from the tables by the windows.
Good pizza, fast service
Its better than no pizza.
My delivery pizza looked okay on top but was burnt on the bottom. I threw it out and called the manager. He refused to do anything for me unless I dug the old pizza out of the garage to send back. Told him I had taken a picture of the burnt pizza. He just blew me off. I will NEVER order pizza from them again. I should add a note about the lack of topping on a three meat pizza but if its inedible the toppings dont matter anyway.
I purchased a Grand Slam Pizza, (name has been changed), from Los Alamos Time Out Pizza. It was the worst Pizza I have ever tried to eat.The worst Ive ever ordered in my life. I will never eat there again. I confronted the Owner and from the start I said I dont want a free pizza. Im not after free stuff I told him. There was know Sauce. Everything is about the SAUCE!!!. I LIFTED THE THE CHEESE UP AND SHOWED THE OWNER WHO I KNOW PERSONALLY, that there isnt any sauce. He said it has sauce. You cant taste the sauce I told him. Take a bite. Did not taste his own pizza.I SHOWED to him there were know veggies and sparcely placed ingredients. Like a piece of a puzzle every item had a place. CRAZY.THE OWNER SAID IT WAS OK.THE CRUST WAS SO THIN YOU COULD ALMOST SEE THROUGH IT IN PLACES.THIS one pizza cost over $31.00 dollars.I Left A 5.00 dollar tip.I live in Los Alamos, I know what a Time Out Grand Slam Pizza taste like. It is all I ever order from there. This one tasted like sausage and Olives that had been thrown into the center of pizza. My two other guest who had a piece of the same pizza agreed. We eventually through half the Pizza in the garbage. He never offered me my money back.I will post pictures. I felt like The biggest pizza scam had took a huge bit out of my pocket book. I havent been back since. Its been over a month since this happened.
