Yitshak Kariv St 6, Jerusalem, Israel, As Salt
Time Elevator - Museum in As Salt, Jordan
Amazing place
Nice experience
the film looks outdated.
The idea is nice but the show is too cheap,The screen not so great look low resolution budget screen.the sound not so good. There is some issue with the 3d that look it cut between screens. Not recommend
Story was all over the place. Moment of ride was jerky. Dont waste your time or money
They show 3d video movie that was made 20 years ago.
An fun moment to learn the history of Jerusalem
Is place that good every educative.
Went to Time Elevator. The movie hall is small may be about 100 odd seats. This is because all the seats are dynamic seats which can move, up–down, tilt, left-right, forward-backward and Up -down synchronised with audio visual presentation on the screen to make you feel as if you are moving, falling and other sensations as seen on the panoramic screen and heard on surround sound system. Which may be harmful to people with health problems. That is why one is told in advance that pregnant ladies, people with heart or any health problems should occupy "safe seats" which are "static"- do not move..The movie is 30 minutes of action packed rip roaring journey through 3000 years of history of Jerusalem. With script by renowned archaeologists and historians and on screen narration and acting by famous actor Chaim Topol. The movie takes you from the period of construction first temple in Jerusalem by King Soloman. Through the destruction of first temple, second temple by David, of the city and changes it goes through over all of thoese 3000 years from Solomon to the roman to Christians to Muslims right up to the war of 1967.It is exciting experience. Due to audio-visual and dynamic seats, you have sensations of actually moving at breakneck speeds, zooming up or plunging down in deep abysses.Besides exciting it is also a learning experience as you are given information of 3000 years of Jerusalem history in a concentrated capsule of 30 mts !!
Was hoping for something better. Only going if youre looking to get out of the heat.
A very nice idea that explains to children in a tangible and experiential way the history of Jerusalem ...But must make a new movie with better quality.
The video quality wasnt good ( resolution and sharpness). The story line is nice but skipped important parts
This is the biggest waste of money. Its outdated and terrible quality
Poor graphics, terrible acting, and a very confusing story line
Really a place which shows history I really recommend going to
The Jewish part was nice. For an Orthodox Jew there was a bit too much about Christianity which was at the level of disturbing. I understand that they have many different types of tourists.
OK. Im 73 and it felt like someone put me in a blender...But the grandkids thought it was a fun ride, although the sound wasnt so good and they didnt understand everything. Disney wouldnt have given a seal of approval, but Ben Gurion probably wouldve. (I met with him as a student in 1965, but I couldnt understand his English (or Hebrew). So take the kids and ignore the blemishes.בכל אופן זות ירושלים אז תהנו.
Well done. Saw it in Hebrew. Grandchildren ages 7-12 enjoyed very much.
Not a very good multi media experience.
Interesting attraction for adults and kids. It lasts about half an hour. The movie is 2-D but the moving seats create an effect of presence inside. The main language is Hebrew but it is possible to get headphones for free with different languages.
Go to the Jerusalem elevator show, very nice!
The best.
cute but could have made more of such a nice Idea. not enough values for religious Jewish kids.
This place teaches adults and children about the Jewish and the Christian history. I took my kids and the wife there and we thought we knew the history until we came to this place. The graphics are just ok, the moment you come in you think that it will be state of the art technology but no and I do hope they update that because it pretty disappointing. And thats the only reason Im giving this a 3 star because the service is great and the location as well.
Very niice experience. Highly recommend.
Kind of pricey for only one attraction
Its great... But understand what it is. Its a motion ride through time that is quite dated but a lot of fun. If you go there with that expectation, youll enjoy. It is in Hebrew, but with headphones for other languages. Storyline may not be appropriate for younger kids. There are no motion seats in the front.
Far from expected. Skip it. Better places in Jfslm.
Jerusalem in a nutshell, via fantastic ride, ill say. The time capsule experience was so real. Beautiful country
Dozen of languages offered. Make sure to ask for headphones, they are confortante and protects against external noises. You Amy pick over 10 languages if you want
I visited with two 11 year olds and they enjoyed the show which was informative and quite a ride. The seats move and make fore a feeling of adventure. My granddaughters were impressed!
My 7 year old loved it !
Nice experience, but way overpriced for half an hour show. They also dont reimburse for parking.
Poor technology. The story was not clear for the children. Could be much better.
Isnt scary but still interesting..
It was really enjoyable, the kids loved it. I think the video quality was not that great.
Great potential to explain about the history of Jerusalem but poor execution and confusing explanation about the different periods
A little on the pricey side. Would like a longer movie and ride.
Ive only been to the Jerusalem themed "ride". Its not bad, but I thought that summing up three thousand years of history in half an hour is pretty useless. If you have a spare 30 minutes, its fine, but dont expect anything to special.
Great educational activity. Excellent for kids. We had a great time and will do it again.
Quite disappointing. The good:The script isnt bad, and it does try to cover A LOT in a relatively short time without neglecting or offending any religion or people. The bad:The whole experience is extremely dated. The video is not even HD, the sound isnt great, and it was clearly made well over 15 years ago, and did not get many updates. With modern technology this could definitely be an amazing experience for families and tourists.
Great for children. Very informative.
The animation graphics are quite outdated , it could be much much better with newer animation graphics, the acting is pretty good though but it could be expanded story wise and for different stories of the region , maybe even use some effects like in 4DX
Poor display and sound not clear, very disappointed.Story line ridiculous, movie only 30 minutes.
nice experience, the kids enjoyed it.
Good shows, but it is pricy
awsome experience! we had a blast!
I would expect that they will screen in HD
The picture is simply not very sharp. A lot of emphasis on Christianity (multiple images of crosses, a large albeit strange segment on Helena), which depending on your denomination, will be something you prefer. They made some of the Jewish characters ridicules. The purely experience part, i.e. you are as though sitting in a mining cart and rumbling through underground tunnels, is OK, and here and there some nice visual effects.Overall, I was disappointed.
The video is not sharp. The sound is not great. The content is not great for religious people. For example, Yimiyahu hanavi looks like a crazy man.
