Wonderful atmosphere! The live music is excellent and the prices are surprisingly affordable for a place this close to City Hall.

Hands down. The very best live music venue in Philadelphia. I have a great time every time I come here.

Great live music spot! The lady jazz singer has such a powerful voice. Also, they play hip hop live music with a dj on Friday night. Not the best spot to chat with your friends cause the music is too loud, but a perfect place to enjoy the ambiance, singers, djs, and have a great night surrounded by great jazz/hip hop songs.

Not a huge menu but the food and drinks are great. The live music is a very nice touch.

Favorite place in Philly. The biggest pleasure is to come Sunday night to fully packed place with an amazing live music and get a table. Music is awesome, food fantastic!

Great drinks, music and vibes all around. During live performances bar is usually quite loud but makes perfect sense at a jazz bar.

horrible food. overpriced. the beef tasted bland and the rice noodles felt like they were microwaved. like very very bad chinese food. the music was obnoxiously loud. and our waiter couldn’t care less and super inauthentic

The drinks and the vibes are all you need. Great live music on Saturday night. We visited last weekend and their was an awesome Jazz Bar. One of my favorites during my trip to Philly. I did not order food. Does get crowded once the set starts.

I had the best TIME here! (See what I did there? LolAll sorts of good energy! Bartenders are super nice and make great drinks. The live music was awesome. This is my first time in Philly and I had an absolute blast. I will be back! Highly recommended!

Amazing vibe, great food, great drinks & you cant beat the live music they have almost every night! Time is one of the best spots in Philly.

The green beans and beet deviled eggs were the perfect small bites after wandering around the city. The live music was an added bonus.

Update: TIP THE BAND, dont scrooge it up.Still the best Monday night spot in Philly for live music. If you can stay out til 12 on a Monday this is the place. Usually attracts local musicians on Monday. The best part is other performers hopping in and out throughout the night. Thats the way jazz clubs should be.Chicken Sandwich 10/10Monday nights for trombo picolo and if youre lucky, a few mummers will step in as the horn section

I enjoyed the food and ambiance. The music was amazing and it got packed late. I suggest a 8:30 to 9 seating to have dinner and enjoy the music the rest of the night.

It started off a good experience until the waitress dropped food on a new blouse I wore. I asked the waitress can we get something off the bill she says the manager will take off the wings we ordered. We spent $400 at the restaurant with gratuity included. Meanwhile my $50 blouse is destroyed. Worse experience at a restaurant. I would have given 0 stars. Train your waitresses.

Service is incredibly poor and rude. Asked for a green tea shot got a bewildered look from the bartender because he had no idea how to make it and he rudely told me off. I asked for a drink that the bar two doors over literally made me for no problem. There’s a million bars in Philly don’t pick this one they are rude. I told the person at the front about my experience and got a glazed eye response of “it happens”.

Ok so this is my first experience and Im not proud to say of many.I love the openess to this bar/restaurant.The busy bee vibe mixed with the aesthetic of wine Clad walls is absolutely memorable .Another crown on the hat is the fact that they host live music very frequently, so if your a fan of live entertainment, add that to the list of great things.The drinks are a bit pricey but lets face it ...its downtown Philly what do you expect.The food quality is easily a nine if not ten.Ill have to come back and really focus on temhe flavors as I usually do with my reviews .(To focused on the live band)Wether your looking for a great retreat for a bite to eat.A solid drink and some live music or a mixture of all....Id truy say that its TIME you give this place a try.

Perfect place for a pre-dinner drink . With an extended selection of whiskey and cocktails paired with light jazz playing by local group in the background, i couldnt ask for better!

I came in Saturday right as they opened and it was an awesome layout with great ambience and atmosphere. Unfortunately none of drinks were very good and they turned the volume up to a college bar level so we left. Lots of potential with better drinks and keep the music to an adequate level

Great place for cocktails! I really enjoyed the music, drinks, and the bar staff was so helpful! I tried the Paper Plane which was delicious. Ill definitely go back to try more 🍸🥂

Website is very deceiving (full of lies). If you are a jazz lover this is NOT the place for you. My husband and I were extremely disappointed. Its a club full of 21 year olds.. Kids behind the bar that dont know how to make drinks.. Some of the worst drinks Ive ever had in my life.. They definitely CO mingle the bottles of alcohol try to sell you top shelf when you taste it you can tell that its lower teared alcohol. Was very disappointed All around. They had a band on Saturday night where the guy just banged a synthesized drum thats not my idea of jazz. The 21 year old crowd was there just for the cheap drinks. This place should not Even call themselves a jazz club. Definitely would steer clear from this place I will never go back there again.

The food is average and over priced. They charge you $5 each, to sit during their HH Jazz band performance. Wine is good but $$$. Not a great option since there are multi options for venues in mid town.Mgt. needs to figure something out. :( PS: Service was excellent xoxo

I love this place and the music and drinks are fabulous but there was an instance tonight where my friend and I were getting creeped on by a man. We told the security guard to please make sure he didn’t follow us but he ignored it. Two seconds later we see the man behind us. We physically had to run away and he still managed to catch up 2 blocks from the bar. I’m just really upset and disappointed that the security guard didn’t help us out when we asked for it. My friend and I both felt really unsafe.

The music is so good!!! It says live jazz online though, but it sounded more like rock with electric guitars and drums… I love rock too and it was really good rock (one of the best bands I’ve heard, I want to hire them myselfbut just an fyi!!!

Great spot for a more relaxed night out. The live music compliments the atmosphere rather than commanding it. Outstanding and wide array of whiskey and bourbon offered here which was great to see.(all bourbon is whiskey but not all whiskey is bourbonDepending on the server, the attention you may receive could vary vastly. I didnt try their food so I cant speak to that but Ill definitely be back so well give it a go then. If that goes well in quality and taste coupled with improved service consistency, this spot has the makings of 5 stars.

It was good overal, the atmosphere is lovely, the food was a bit pricey for what you get, drink as well.

Small and quaint. We had drinks and the mussels and both were great. Very nice atmosphere and they always have live jazz music. Whenever I go back to Philly, I will DEFINITELY go to Time!

Stopped in for a late-night drink on 3/27. Initially were seated right near where the jazz band was about to startt playing, and then we read on the table tent that a $5 charge was added to your bill when dining in that room. We were only planning to stay for 1 drink and no food, so we retreated to the back bar. It was dark, but the bartender was great. We each had sazeracs, and they were spot on. Hostess reminded me of a cross between Kristen Ritter and Winona Ryder in Beetlejuice. Not sure why thats relevant, but I felt the need to share that with someone.

I loved this place. We loved Omar’s Hat. The group was so interactive with the audience. The service was great and drinks were soooo good. The food was okay. The wings and shrimp and grits were beyond greatness but the entrees missed the mark. The crab cakes sandwich was disappointing and chicken sandwich was average. But this will not stop us from driving from Delaware to visit again !

Inside vibe and service is great. However, the food isnt quite worth the full price. We arrived during happy hour so Id say the price we paid for HH food was worth it for the most part. But the Buffalo cauliflower was most definitely not worth $5 as you can see in the picture below. Also, theyll automatically charge you $5/person if the band starts playing at anytime during your meal there.

The ambiance is very nice but they charged us for live music without notifying us ahead of time! When I saw +$20 on my bill I couldnt believe it. The music was super loud and it was impossible to have a conversation with my friends so we left after we finished our coctails that were just ok. Wont be coming back here.

I went there for my birthday. Music and atmosphere were great. Our server was very attentive. Food and drinks were terrible. We ordered chicken sandwich and burger. Sandwich was burnt and burger was overcooked. Cocktails and draft beer choices were less than desirable on the menu. Love this place but definitely have to stop prior somewhere else for food and drinks.

Loved my time at Time. Great drinks, great musicians and had a NOLA vibe to it.

One thing that really stands out about this place is it has three different vibes in my space that I think everyone would enjoy. If youre more into a chill, sophisticated, laid back then the live jazz section is for you. If youre more of a sports, more lively and group oriented vibe then right across is the sports bar with TVs. And upstairs has a live DJ that gives it a more club like feel. There a fee to get in and show proof of vaccination. Also if youre on a budget then then the drinks may be expensive but there is happy hour.

Lovely staff, amazing music, and an artistic vibe that translated to high vibrations all around. I love the floor plan, with one side of the bar catering to live music lovers and the other with a jukebox - making it easier to have conversations with a group of people. The drinks were great and the overall diversity amongst patrons created a very comfortable atmosphere.

The atmosphere was amazing, the food was excellent, and the staff was awesome. Best cheese fries Ive ever had and the duck was melt in your mouth.

COVID has really taken its toll on this place. No bar service without getting a table really hurts. But.... get a table and the staff comes to life! Great whiskey selection! Possibly the best in Philly.

Very classy. Staff got us in early on our reservation which was nice. Wide selection of drinks. The food here was excellent. Great atmosphere for a date night. A little costly but worth it. Well be coming back again for sure. Live music is a nice added touch.

This is a bar and restaurant combination. We were there on a Monday evening and were lucky enough to hear the love jazz music. We were just there for drinks, but we sat on the restaurant side to enjoy the music. The cocktails were great. They are craft cocktails with a lot of character...you can tell by the names! We didnt eat there, but the food smelled delicious and looked great. Great atmosphere as well.

Such a great intimate ambience, always great live music. The food is fancy, like if it was from an very expensive place but affordable. Staff are friendly, efficient and professional. The place is peaceful but festive. Perfect

Extremely pleasant atmosphere for enjoying live jazz music. Small and intimate setting. Large drink menu, good cocktails. Though the dinner menu is limited, the dish we got was absolutely delicious.

A great place to hear jazz by local artists in a cool bar with great cocktails. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They make very good craft cocktails. I highly recommend this place if you like to hear different artists perform and relax with friends over good drinks and food.

This place is so cool. We didnt eat food while there, but we definitely drank the whiskey! They had so many options, including Japanese whiskey. Not to mention their Jack and Makers Mark mixed drink was on point. Will definitely return again :)
