Tilyar lake is a very good place for 3 hours trip especially with young ones .One can watch a small but well maintained zoo .Paddle boating ,cycling facility is available .Fast food eatery is there beside one shop dedicated to special tea.

Nice place to spend good family time. Dont forget to carry food for monkeys and ducks

This is the most pathetic place I have ever visited. The lake water is sticky and smells aweful. Adding to the shabby environment and menace of monkeys, there is zero administration of this place.All in all. I recommend never to visit this place.

The lake is pretty big and very beautiful. There is a small island in the middle of the lake. You can do boating or simply sit idle and relax or have a leisurely walk along the perimeter of the lake but beware of monkeys. There is a small zoo and a restaurant in the complex thereby making this place an ideal picnic spot to be visited with family and friends.

Good for a dayout ,but not maintained at all.Lake water is polluted and infrastructures are broken. Not even cleaned .

Good property,Stayed a night here last year, food okay,Beds + bathroom clean, staff okay.Needs more lighting along walking tracks, but I guess its okay as there are small birds and animals about and its next to Rohtak Zoo

Not maintained well at all it can be like Sukhana lake of Chandigarh or even better, there is an adjacent zoo as well and little bit of sports activities for kids outside. It can be much better maintained, organised and used if Government of Haryana or through private public partnership.

Tilyar Lake is a tourist destination along with rohtak mini zoo situated on main Rohtak Delhi Road.Lake is a great place to spend some quality time with friends and family.

Very nice place to visit for all specially kids. Inside there is a zoo also. After 7:30pm there is water laser show in the lake. All is good but it seems government not take care about neat and cleaning in the lake. In Zoo we cannot enter after 4:30 pm. In Summer It is not good time. In lake water is very dirty.

Tilyar lake is located on Rohtak to bahadurgarh road. Enjoy evening with family with a boat ride in lake or have some snacks. Furthet, i you wish so, you may take a lunch or dinner in tilyar tourist complex or breakfast if you stay there, in day time, you may visit mini zoo adjacent to tilyar lake. A good weekend with your family and friends, so just enjoy your time.

Paid parking is what you may not like but to save money you may park a vehicle free of cost at Fast Food which is on road near the entrance of the lake. Eatables are expensive in shops at the lake so you may buy from the street side vendor on road and then enjoy it at the lake. You may want to see the JLN canal which passes just by side at the northern end of the lake. Beware of monkeys at the lake they may snach things so keep them hidden in a bag.

The Ticket price is just 10-5 Rs. Oly for Students & also for all persons.

Could have been but not a very great place, too crowded on Sundays, people throwing too much garbage around in the parks. A picturesque natural lake island used to be breeding ground for ducks but now savagely encroached for island cafe. Almost ruins of Lake fountain further spoils the view..

Tilyar lake is known as rohtak jheel, couple and family visit everyday, Bar is also available

They have large space but they arent utilizing it properly. It can be good , attractive. They can also setup many things therewhich is attractive. But nothing. Not a tourist place just a place if you want to waste your time

Great experience The lake is too big & It occupied large area. You can also go boating here. The boating charges is RS. 300 for 4 people.It is also a very good picnic spot.

Place yo enjoy with family is good, but due to COVID-19 you cant visit zoo area.As per me ducks in lake is an attraction point.Negative part:Water is so much dirty. As per the tourism funds collection management is not taking care of lake water

Situated near delhi by pass.This is the biggest lake in the sorrownding.Zoo and boating is also their.Laser light show happen here but currently not operating due to covid 19.Good place for picnic.People gather for morning and evening walk.

Indeed a good place for morning and evening walks. There are lots of goose and some migratory birds here. You can do boating as well. This place is quite famous for couples and could be uncomfortable for families 😉😉. But overall it is a good place to hangout. Must visit.

This s only one & good option for the picnic in rohtak with family or friends.we enjoyed the lake by boating and kids were enjoyed with playing games&they enjoyed the swings.we have took many beautiful pictures with nature & family...There were 2 week point 1was there were many 🐒 🐒 thats why we never eat our food 🥝 properly &2one the zoo was being 🔐 during corona .the kids were upset for that.kids have much craised for the New version of the zoo...End of the note in the lake there was the 🎵🎶 fountain ⛲ attraction of the lake.....We thoroughly enjoyed ..its looking so beautiful...

Boating available here .Charges are150 for 2 seater boat - 30 minutes200 for 4 seater boat- 30 minutes300 for 6 seater boat -15 minutes500 for 4 seater moter boat - 1 round.Its man made lake.. u can see here monkey & ducks in large number.. paking facility is also available.. 10 rupee for bike... Resurant is also available from where u can buy fast food + cold drinks + ice cream + snaks + chips + water bottle etc. Petrol pump , mini zoo & tilyar food center + hotel is also near. It lies on rohtak sampla road near to baba mastnath university.

Visited in October 2020After Corona pandemics unlockdown.Full of Greenery now.It has a mini zoo, which is still closed.It has motored swings, which is not started yet.It offers Light and sound show, which is not available.One can access the Lake and walk and sit in nearby grounds.2 small shops of snacks and cold drinks and tea/coffee are open.

The most enjoyable activities in Tilyar lake are the Boating, Angling and Kayaking activities which will surely pump the adrenaline required.The zoo is a favourite part of Tilyar for children as they enjoy viewing the magical creatures Deers, Panthers, Monkeys and all the different types of birds. Tilyar Lake authorities also support angling in the lake for which a permit must be obtained from the authorities. This is best place to spend 3-4 hours with family & friends...you will enjoy boat ride here, Zoo is also top attraction here...and actually if department do some efforts it can be top attractions for events and tourism...there are lots of area of scope available to do things in better way.

Well the natural beauty is worth watching but unfortunately it is not well maintained. There r a lot of moneys around infact monkeys had torn seats of our bikes in parking lot, n for parking they had charged us n when we asked the person collecting money then he says collecting money is my only job.

Tilyar Lake (free entryis one of the major tourist attractions in the Indian state of Haryana (Rohtak). It is only 70 kilometers from New Delhi. there is many attractions like mini zoo of Rohtak near to tilyar lake. Entry fee is Rs 10 only. Haryana Tourism Resort. Haryana tourism Restaurant. Mini Food Point. it is very good place for having fun with family or friends. its also a good place for photography.you can see many type of migrated birds here. specially October to February.

The lake is beautiful but isnt clean, the spot is usually used by picnic, parties etc.Amenities you get-1. There is a resort for people who want to stay for nearby attractions.2. Toilets is an essential component for maintaining hygiene and is available for everyone.3. There are quite a few rides with cheap prices for kids to enjoy.4. There is a mini zoo which has Leopards, deers, monkeys, parrots, crocodiles etc.5. As you expected boating is also available.Allover its a nice place to explore, you can have fun jogging around the whole stretch of lake, or simply party and music on ground.

Nice place to spend some time with friends and family. There are lots of birds but very less animals in the zoo. There should be more animals. If tigers picture you are pasting then we should be be able to see. Although we had fun while boating in lake but there should be More water and lake should be clean. We can go for small picnic if stays near.
