Good places don’t necessarily stay that way. Slow and understaffed by unqualified personnel that make you wait in line for service even with a reservation. Food is to be paid for ahead of time, that is if they happen to have the necessary ingredients. A glorified cafeteria with reasonable food, but not a real restaurant.

The menu has very few options. I ordered hot chocolate with lactose free milk which was made possibly with the cheapest lidl oat milk. Tasted weird, still did cost nearly 5€.

The coffee and food were great! The ambiance is also extremely cozy and the outdoor balcony is a great place to spend time in the summer

The place is amazing, I visited during lunch hours. They have a daily lunch menu during the mid week they is complementary coffee/tea.The food is very good, the service is amazing. Ordered lunch of the day and their burger and the overall bill was 31 Euros

A charming restaurant in a historic building. Part of what makes tiirikkala such a nice place to be is the delicious food, but the building itself also adds to the experience.

Tiirikkalas goat cheese salad with strawberries was simply delicious salad. Also smoked salmon soup with house baked bread is tasty if you prefer strong flavors.

Nice big place to take a coffee or a biscuit/cake. They had good cakes! And good coffee. Close to Åbo River!

Good bistro, simple dishes, childrens menu too, many different cake and bakery products, almost all the cakes are gluten-free. Friendly atmosphere on three different levels.

Cozy, too small pot of tea. Not pleased with selection of small bites to eat if not ordering from the menu. Mostly sweets only.

Cosy in its own right, with a bit of a modern touch. Bright atmosphere for live music, which they have regularly.

The brunch at Tiirikkala was lovely! The place is so beautiful, well planned and dynamic with two floors and two terraces outside and very nice interior. We had brunch at a busy hot summer day and it was very well worth the visit. The brunch had two parts, a plate with a small display of dishes and then a buffet table with fruit, bread, tasty spreads and dessert.

A beautiful cosy café where you can enjoy a delicious lunch (also sitting out possibility if the weather allowsat a very reasonable price! The staff is really friendly and attentive. Highly recommended and looking forward to visiting again

Smoked salmon soup and salad buffet were both excellent. Soup made with fresh ingredients resulting exactly to an experience salmon soup should be; rich, yet simple, delicious and warming.Service was friendly and attending. Dogs are welcome both on the terrace and inside.

Very friendly service, the food was great. We had the vegan brunch, which came with a nice salad buffet, bread and spreads, aswell as fresh fruit. The interior has a friendly and light atmosphere, there also is comfortable outdoor seating. It was an overall very pleasant experience that I can definitely recommend.

One of my favourite places in Turku. Best icetea Ive had and those cakes.. 💕 Really good hot chocolate also, but take tea only if you like pressobrewing (not my thing). Tapas plate is pure gold and they make it gluten free and vegan if you ask. The kitchen also makes gluten free and vegan food even if its not on the meny/counter. Most of the staff are really friendly.

Its a fine Café, the coffee variety in this one positively surprised me.

Experience genuine Finnish hospitality!Booked a table for brunch over the phone 30min before. When we get there, they’d given our table away. Human error, no problem with that. But instead of saying “we’re sorry” or trying to find us a solution (there was one and we pointed it out ourselvesthe closest we get to an apology is the owner saying “we can’t do anything but hey, we try our best!”.The mentality throughout the experience is that of us owing them for serving us food. Nobody smiles, no plates are collected from our tables (until the second we leave and they rush to empty the tables). You seldom get gas station mentality at fine dining places like this. A true pearl.The food was good however. It was laid out nice on the plates and service was rapid. And the tastes worked very well together.Anybody not familiar with the Finnish dining scene, Sunday brunch here is an experience combining Western tastes, European quality of ingredients and quickness with Slavic small city service willingness.

Comfortable and versatile cafe-bar-restaurant -hybrid. Price range for food and drinks is what could be expected for the location, i.e. moderately high. The selection of drinks is not very large but what there is is high quality.

They want too much to be fancy and on the top class. The prices are sky high and the quality can vary from bad to excellent. Too much variance for a top spot.

Organized a private party of 36 people on the second floor and everything went great: food was excellent, wines were excellent and the venue was excellent. Staff was super helpfull and new what they were doing.

Place was really nice, friendly service and salmon salad was really good. Falafel could have been a bit better. Also some nice beers on tap.

Beautiful restaurant in a good location. An excellent tapas dish and a good drink range. On weekends often offer live music. Nice place overall!

Good and tasty food with nice collection of drinks (non alcoholic, alcohol, coffees). Good value for money! Place looks really nice inside and outside, its very well put together. Theres tables on two levels plus outside during the summer time. Place is by the river and close to places like Turku cathedral, main library, Old Great Square, Aboa Vetus & Ars Nova.

Pretentious place with small portions and high prices, and average food. My burger had good meat, but a slice of tasteless supermarket cheddar, and came with absolutely no accompaniments. Unsmiling servers, plus everything is self-serve. Add hipstery uncomfortable seats, and we got a very mediocre meal. Funnily, we had a much nicer meal, with wonderful service, at Tintä down the same street at the same prices yesterday- we came to Tiirikkala today because it was so highly rated. It really shouldnt be for how average it is.

Wonderful fish brunch plate with a generous portion of prawns, salmon and asparagus, including a tasty yoghurt dessert. A feast fit for any low carb dieter, with coffee, cakes and service charge included in the €19 price, which is quite inexpensive for Turku where even a pizza will cost €10-15

A coffee, beer or some cakes late in the evening? Not a problem! This place has fast service, a good selection of beers and probably the best vegetarian burger ever. All with very charming interior.Couldnt ask for more!

A great place for anything, really. Quiet on weekdays (except lunch). Staff is polite and efficient, all drinks are good and food is excellent. I do recommend the vegan brunch platter.

Quite nice place to have lunch or diner. Place has nice atmosphere in an old wooden building. Staff is polite and helpful. During summer there is only couple of tables outside what is a shame. Food is nothing really special.
