Its a aremenien casell built by TIKRAN the great in86 b. C. 2033 years ago was his sumer Cassel.. The capitell of Armenia tikranagert is located in terkey it was aremenien capital at that time now its called (diar bekr)..however artsakh was invaded by the perjens. and tatars. Mongols seljuk terks. And it was distroyd over and over.. ho ever came they rebilt changed the name its well known terkish strateji to make it look like its thers.. the stones are hooket to each other with papion shape spaces philled with lead or wood to stay strong... so stop saying its azery casell wake up peaple you cant change history by lying to. note(half moon uper windows bay are tipikel aremenien ARKITECT)

This is one of three sights typically recommended to travelers in Artsakh, along with Gandzasar and Dadivank. Of the three, this was the least interesting -- at least visually. The castle itself looks generic from the outside, with no unique features to distinguish it from other castles. Inside its possible to walk along the upper level. The renovations carried out have been extensive, making more of the castle modern construction than ancient. The museum is really the highlight of the visit, for those seeking a more intellectual experience than a photographic one. Beyond the castle there are other sites that can be walked to, so it is possible to spend a couple of hours exploring. There is a negligible entrance fee of AMD250 ($0.50and abundant parking at the entrance.

Крепость полностью восстановлена, и больше похожа на новодел, но от этого хуже нестала. Имеется небольшой археологический музей. При входе на камерах видеонаблюдения и люстре гнёзда ласточк с птенцами.

Un lieu paisible où Nariné et Harut vous accueille avec son sourire, un musée qui présente les découvertes des fouilles réalisés à proximité du musée. Juste le guide Vahram qui utilise sa position pour escroquer les touristes en racontant une histoire invraisemblable de plaque dans la tête et dopération pour laquelle il a besoin dargent. Alors attention si vous le croiser mais je crois quil ny travaille plus.

Castello di Tigranakert, o Castello di Shahbulag costruito nel XVIII secolo è un importante monumento storico del Nagorno-Karabakh.Il castello oggi restaurato contiene un piccolo museo dove sono conservati reparti provenienti dalladiacente sito archeologico di Tigranakert.
