Tiger Rock in Liverpool

Very busy Saturday night but service didnt suffer. Ran like clockwork. Food was very tasty and hot. Excellent quality. Never had South Asian food before but this was a treat.

Tiger rock you never disappoint. Cosy, friendly and wonderful, tasty small plates. Thank you for making us always leave with a smile.

As a family and with friends we have been going to Tiger Rock for years. Never lets us down. Difficult to recommend dishes as personal taste differs. I love the hake broth, lamb chops ( pink for meand Chinese ribs.The lovely thing about tapas is that the dishes cooked fresh can be tweaked, for example, I hate anchovies and they do a lovely dish with said hated ingredient so obviously cooked without.Highly recommended

We had a table of four on a recent night out, staff are friendly and helpful.Food is generally served in small dishes and we filled our table with many plates, food is so tasty and its not too pricey either.Certainly worth a visit

Absolutely amazing quality food.I would recommend between two people to get about 4-5 dishes and you’ll be full the entire evening.Friendly service with a smile. I’ll definitely be going back next time I’m in Liverpool

I have only ever been served worse food at Wetherspoons but I didnt have to pay £50 for the privilege. The only thing that was nice was the steak, but £11.50 for a steak that was smaller than the head of the fork both along and across is diabolical. Its a fried steak with a soy wasabi mix in a pot on the side, and a tiny bit of ginger on top.Our mains were additionally tiny.I am genuinely sad I went in. Nice building, staff that are not bothered and god awful food.

Delicious, flavourful food. Every dish we tried was delicious, so many options and everything tasted really fresh. Good atmosphere and staff were friendly too.

Tapas style dishes, all of which were delicious. I enjoyed the Mee Goreng Udang especially. Would certainly recommend.

EDIT 3/1/22 knocked down from 5 stars to 3 stars:went yesterday very busy but only had 30 minute wait for a table. They circle what you order on the menu which highlighted the problem to us. They said we only had one thing left to be cooked but it was 4 items, theyd already put it through the till so I wondered if we hadnt said anything whether wed be charged for the items wed not eaten. I didnt have to wait long as a couple got their bill and the lady told the waitress they hadnt received a few items that were on the bill. They were then removed from their bill.So remember what your ordered and check your bill before you pay!Original review:Great service, great food. Mild changes amidst Corona virus pandemic. Short wooden panels put up between booths, hand gel at entrance, service staff wearing either masks or visors but not one customer was required to wear a mask at any point asks every table was full downstairs.

One of our favourites to go for a great food. Never disappointed so far. Absolutely in love with the fillet steak dish and laksa me soup. Could eat them everyday. 😋😍 Service is always very good. Well be soon back again!

Absolutely amazing food and not at all pricey. Such a variety and such good options for veggies, vegans and gfs. Really cannot recommend enough. Spectacular every time although tbh service could be a little better, but with the food this good who cares? Haha

Delicious fresh and authentic Thai food. Brilliant menu with lots of choice. Specials were a highlight. Very good, highly recommend.

Really nice food but pricey. The mains are padded out by unnecessary dressings on the plate. Example if you order Nasi Goreng its a tiny scoop of curry on a potato with salad leaves.The food itself is delicious and I would definitely recommend here, Id just be more selective in the dishes I ordered.

Really impressed with the standard of pan Asian food on offer and well priced too.

Few options for non meat eaters, but the Nasi Goreng and Vegetarian spring rolls were a delight

Great food, good service. Staff changed our booking from 4 to 5 just the day before which was really good but we were just put on a table for 4 which was not great when you are having numerous small plates plus drinks, didnt spoil the overall experience though. Will defo go back and book for correct number first time round 🙂

The best pad Thai Ive had in Liverpool. Love this place as a restaurant but Ive been even more impressed by the takeaway. The move to larger size meals for takeaway has been a great move. No quality lost and brilliant food as always!

I have visited twice in the last month for lunch and really enjoyed it. The staff are lovely and the food is very flavourful. The "small plates/bowls" are generously sized compared to other restaurants and I havent tried a dish I didnt love. Visited during covid restrictions and was comfortable with the masks, sanitizer and spacing between tables

Great selection of street food dishes from across the far east, tasty, bags of flavour. Good service if youre eating in, but the food is equally tasty if you take away.

A great little place and well worth a visit, if you like food from the East then you’ll love a bit of tiger rock in your tum tum.It’s not massively expensive and the portions are acceptable for the ££, I’d suggest ordering three to five dishes per person if your hungry. Just like a lot of these types of places food comes when it’s ready, for some this is a pain and deemed slow but comparable to somewhere like wagga’s however the range of taste sensations on offer to tickle them taste buds into next week are vast and plenty.Steamed Hake is very delicate, like that a lot, the soft shell crab for me was a winner though, very nice.Be sure to book a table as the place seemed busy but service was good, had to ask twice for the bill which wasn’t great but the quality of food and some great company made up for that!

Small plates and very pricey but food was very delicious

I rarely feel the need to leave a review for anything, good or bad, but I have to make an exception here. Ive been a couple of times now and both have been wonderful. At first I thought it might be pricey, given that everything is labeled as a small bowl/plate and the tapas style - but the plates are pretty substantial. Two dishes is more than enough for a full meal, and some of them are perfect to share too such as the roast pork belly. Its no pricier than other high street restaurants (whose food is inferior!).The quality of the food is excellent. A very large portion of the menu is vegan, or at least has vegan options available as a substitute, for those who want it. Me and my partner have tried a large variety of the menu between us and we agree that none of the dishes are bland or underwhelming, its all very tasty. Service is great - served all our needs without being either overbearing or distant. Atmosphere feels very relaxed.Its easily our favourite place to eat in Liverpool, highly recommended.

Amazing small asia dishes here for sharing with friends. They serve a lot of dishes mostly from Malaysia and Singapore. The quality and service standard are super high.Make sure to make a reservation before hand as it is always full.

The chilli cod cheeks are a delightful new addition to the menu, these should stay as a special all the time the lamb satay never fails and the wings where tasty. The spring rolls and chilli dip 😍 and the seabass is my all-time favourite from here but the apple spring rolls ...oh amazing possibly consider serving the filling with the ice-cream perfect amount of cinnamon....Ill definitely be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our small plates and small pots. We ordered 7 between 3 of us which worked out perfect. We covered rice, noodles, fresh spring rolls... Chuck in 2 G&Ts and a tea and the bill came to a grand total of £56 (exc serv). Our server was lovely and we would all return.
