Tiffin Top is a small hilltop viewpoint that is located at 1700 metres above and provides magnificent, breathtaking view. Tiffin Top, also known as Dorothys Seat. This famous attraction is a hilltop which offers the most beautiful 360-degree view of Nainital city and surrounding Kumaon mountains.

One can view all Nanital from Tiffin Top. There are many ways to top. The one way from Mall Road side is around 3kms. Try to reach early morning 🌄 or during sunset times for best viewsBeautiful place, and a must visit for trekkers and nature lovers. I personally loved the trek more than the top view. A good place and a wide track is well built of stones. No issues as the ascend is gradual.The small shops at the top have sufficient stuff of snacks and drinks to enjoy and get rejuvenated.

Trust google 50% and 100% to locals. Then only you can reach the destination by walking. Otherwise horse ride is available from different point.

Certainly one of the best points to see the beauty of Nainital. It is a really wholesome experience to trek upto the top. There are ponies available as well if you want. But in my opinion, climbing by foot is the best way to take the whole time and explore the way to top through the pathways which bumps up the excitement to reach the top. Usually surrounded by clouds, it is therefore recommended to go up on a Bright 🌞 day

The air here is pure and relaxed. Whenever you go to visit Nainital, definitely go to Tiffin Top there because you are going to enjoy traveling on foot.

Went in month of September. What a pleasent weather. Horse riding was awesome. Must do activity. Appreciate Uttrakhand Govt for standardizing prices across activities in Nainital, tourists are not cheated by locals

To reach here you can try horse riding... in opinion if you never tried horse riding then try it here to the journey to Tiffin Top..... I laved this place for its scenic beauty... Enjoy some snacks loke maggi with some hot tea for great experience...

Beutiful view nainital lake and Nainital city

Please do not miss this place if you visit Nainital. The climb up to it is a little difficult and takes around an hour if you are reasonably fit. But the view is breathtaking and the shops up there have good food options too.

We reached there a little late, so the city was under the sheet of street lights and vehicle lights. But it was worth visiting it. Saw the whole city from the peak, felt high speed breeze running through our hair and on our faces. Also, dont forget to enjoy the bun-maska and tea there, as I only got a bite from my hubbys order and I am regretting it now. 🤭 The view was surreal and we covered the way to tiffin top via horse being handled by a Old Man, who was quite entertaining 😁 Attaching a few pics from the trip!

The place is beautiful from the top. Dont take horse rides as the real fun is only in walking to the top.

Good place to goYou can view all the mountain peaks from here.Best time to go is after snowfall.. The way is full of woods and inclined. But once you reach there, all the fatigue vanishes .. There are some shops too providing cold drinks.. The other way leads to ayyar jungle camps

It was so peaceful It made me forget everything but the happiness of my soul.Life was perfect there. That moment was perfect. Its like I dont need anything. The view from tiffin top is mesmerizing but its very difficult to reach the top so wear comfortable shoes and dont carry a lot of stuff as its 3 km walk to reach the top

Itd be best if you could hike up to this place on your own. If u find yourself here with clear skies, you. Can see the entire Himalayan range, which might just be good enough to give snow view point a miss. You get a panoramic view of Nainital from here. If you put up at ayarpatta, the hike starts just next to the entrance to ayar jungle resort.

Tiffin top View is good for looking Naini Lake, Himalayas Range, army base.Canteen is also available at the top point. May be this point is called tiffin top.There is two way to reach at this point.One is Horse ride way that is longest way & also toughest. Water bottle must be taken.Other is the way going opposite side to Himalayas Darshan. This way is continuously rising upward that is tough to going upwardMy suggestion is going upstairs to horse ride side & come down to other way.

This is one of the easiest treks youll find around Nainital, and its a good one for beginners. You can either choose to climb all 4 km on foot, or take a taxi and trim the walking down to 1.5km.Either way, the views are spectacular. You get to see the entire Nainital Valley from the top. Truly breathtaking.

Its quite a walk from the board that says 1.5 km , takes almost half hour to reach the top but once you are there the view is fantastic !! You can look down into the valley from the absolute edge of the cliff and needless to say its a great photo opportunity !!Best time to reach is before 10 am , as its uncrowded and you get all the time in the world to click your photographs.Few joints there serve the most welcoming tea and Maggie !!!

This is a amazing palace. What a top view. If you want to enjoy the adventure completely, then you need to go on foot.You will have a little tiredness but you will enjoy yourself with nature beauty. Horse riding facility available here charges per head 810 INR. If someone ask for tourists palace I personally advice to visit Tiffin Top. Here Six (6points from valley to Tiffin Top point. Like lover point, Tiffin Top point, Suicide point & others.

We went here trekking 4 kms from Nainital main ground parking lot. A little tiring but what a view from the Top. It is also known as Dorthy’s seat.People usually take horses ( Rs 810to reach here and get back. But if you have endurance and want some more adventure, trek to this place. Tiffin top is top of hike adventure in Nainital..Its a very interesting place to be at and the view is just next level!You can see the mighty mountains and from the view point you can see the whole of Nainital so clearly.There are two small cafes there where you can eat and chill around.We reached tiffin top early morning trekking through the dense forests... its calm n peaceful.If you want to be close to nature and spend some time in peace, Tiffin top is the place to be at.

One of the well known Hill station for its natural beauty, admirable ambience, full of nature and green peaceful environment, free from crowd and pollution, a touch of nature, great place for weekend masti with family and friends. Superb location easy to access.

One of the best views of whole Nainital can be enjoyed from this Top. The Naini Lake, the Sherwood College, St. Joseph College, The Raj Bhavan and the Mall Road, each of these places is a treat to watch from Tiffin Top. This place is accessible either by Horse ride or an exciting but steep trek through the woods. If one has the stamina, it is highly recommended to visit Tiffin Top through the short trek of 1 hour and enjoy the serenity of nature.There are a few good cafes at the Tiffin Top to enjoy some light snack and tea/coffee along with enjoying the serene view of the Heritage buildings of the elite schools.It is a request to all the tourists to keep the environment clean and PLEASE DONOT LITTER the place with plastic bottles and wrappers of the food items. Be a responsible citizen and enjoy this beautiful place.

Must visit top if u really want to enjoy in Nainital. You can take a horse ride as well as can easily reach there on foot. Its very easy to reach back to Naina Devi Mandir directly from the top. Its not veru hard to Trek to the top. Horse ride will cost u around 800 per person. But I seriously suggest to Trek to the top. Every footstep is worth of it. If you are a group of people then thats a plus point. You can also try rock climbing and and other activities at nominal price of 200-300 and can get very good photos with wonderful view. The whole Nainital is visible from the top. You can see the St. Joseph College where the koi mil gya movies shooting was done.A wonderful place.

View from top is amazing, you get to see mall road side of Nainital, Naina (Cheenapeak, Raj bhawan, Observatory and more. There are abour 3 shops/canteen on top, you can get snacks and beverages here. There is an option to do repelling, rock climbing and valley crossing on top.Also the trek to top is nice, there is a plain green area on the way where one can relax, have fun, kind of picnic place.There are three routes, one from Bara patthar (somewhere from mallital side), nearby raj bhawan, also another shorter route from Sherwood College.We choose the shorter route, to reach Sherwood college, you will have to hire a cab, one can also drive, but road is narrow, steep and there are bad patches. But it can be done if you have experience.It takes around 30-40 mins only from here to reach top.

Here you can see view of the Himalaya and full nainital view overall I like this place bcz of horse riding road is destructive so only horse goes here or you can go by a walk but if u unable to go by a walk so you can take a horse from lovers point they take you tiffin top overall time it takes to return back is 1hour 30 minutes . If u are adventures then I recommend to go here

2 hours of steep hike from Nainital, you will reach Tiffin Top, from where you get to see whole of Nainital lake. There are multiple ways to reach the top, but if you are up for the hike, its worth the effort. You could also hire a cab for half the way, and use horses to climb up if hiking is hard for you.Rather than following the trail, if you are a little adventurous, feel free to take the forest trails.

Long way tracking on the pebble path if you really want to enjoy the beauty of nature stop at some point click some photos n the do the same all along the way. Horse riding are also available if you r found of that. Forest is natural green, walk with clouds and when you reach the top just enjoy the cold breeze, and the view of nanital, and other mountains.

They have horse riding at this famous point. And that costs you nearly 800/person. Which is absolutely useless. If its group of people who can trek, enjoy going walking as we can halt and enjoy the views whereas the horsemen are always in hurry. Also many people bluff about points to view up on the hill. Be careful with these people. We enjoyed treking as we were group of 7 people. Halted nearly 1 hour on top of the hill, and various other places. enjoyed the views, had food, and came down. It will roughly take you 1:30 hour to climb ( as their 2-3 points while going upand half an hour to come down.

Your mornings will change after you visit this place. Start an early morning trek and reach before sunrise 🌅. You will definitely love it. Watch out for Mona (the dog). She was a great buddy who walked us down till our camp. Depending on the time it can be little cold so do carry something as a backup.

I visited in September and there were clouds everywhere. We wont able to see anything from the top but the clouds were amazing. When you reach at the lovers point you can take a horse but its so costly, ₹810 per person. I went on foot and it took one and a half hour to ascend and descend, so its very nice and the mountain is not steep and there is a road so you would not be lost in the jungle as your guide will claim so I recommend to go on foot.

The place is simply awesome. Specially the ride to the top. One have to hire horses to reach the place. The roads runs through a forest area, increasing the suspense of the journey. A must try the tour.
