The aquarium is fantastic, but the outdoor garden could be more tidy and tidy.

Beautiful small zoo for a short day trip.It is situated in a big park with a small pond and lot of ducks. Perfect place for picnics and for playing.

Its a beautiful place... Good aquarium.Few animals but kids enjoy. Can have coffee and snacks inside. In COVID situation plz carry vaccination certificate and for kids above 5 test is required.Outside zoo there is a big park for kids.

Small but well assorted Zoo with interesting animals less found...

A great place to spend an hour or two and visit the various animals living in this small zoo. There are all types of fish, reptiles, birds, monkeys abd more to see. There is also a small shop selling food and drinks right outside in the inner open space. The highlight is the glass tube with an ecosystem of the danube rebuilt right at the entrance. Definitely worth a visit. The best choice is to go there when the weather is fine though. Entrance fee is low and worth it.

Very beautiful place to relax and reflect, breath in some clean air, one of those places that makes you thankful to be alive.

Had a great time with our 2 year old son. He was so excited to see all the animals and loved to caress the goats and sheeps. There was a small play area where he had fun as well. The entry fee was only for the adults and very very nominal. Overall a great idea of a one day fun trip to the tiny animal world with toddlers and kids.

Good activity to kill about an hour. Not too large, but big enough to justify the 5€ entrance fee. Short walk from the S-bahn Donauhalle stop.

Does not worth a visit.After visiting the Zoo just by chance the feeling you get is mercy for the animals that are in. I am not seeing they do not take care of them, but certainly many animals, not surprisingly, do not seem happy.It is a pitty that in such a nice green area as Friedichsau you can not have an open modern-concept Tiergarten.

Nice zoo to visit with kids. I need to admit I went there with my husband no kids, so if you like animals it can be also a different activity 😄

Small place and it’s good for an afternoon walk. Ticket is cheap and there are outdoor and indoor animals.

We especially love the outside area with the goats and pigs. The kids love to brush the pigs and pet the goats and llama.

Kids always enjoyed going here. Its enough to keep them entertained for hours. Outdoor areas great for leisurely walks and hanging out. More animals to see, besides fish, such as goats, ostriches, kangaroo, pigs, lama, monkeys, birds, and so on.

Good quality zoo where the animals are kept healthy and they have plenty of space and to do. Affordable price and surprisingly large. Amazing aquarium section. Unfortunately all info in German.

Lovely family place. Come early because then you can buy food for the animals you can pet. Nice fish tanks and local animals to pet (pigs, goats, horses, etc).

Nice place. Has a good variety of animals and two small tunnels in the aquarium. The animals seem to be well taken care of. I find it quite cheap, compared to other places of its kind.

A variety of animals, and most of them are well cared. Indoor area has insects and fish, outdoor has some commom mammals. Ticket for adults only cost 5. I think its really cheap with this quality!

Its nice for children but I wouldnt say its the best one, its small and doesnt have so many things for adults.

Very nice and likable place. There is huge variety of fishes and the entrance of small water tunnel was also very amazing. Its worthy of going with friends and family. Someone can easily spend hours there to enjoy the place. Fully recommended.

Nice little zoo.

Lovely place, very good for a family trip, there is a bar inside, for food, drinks and coffee. There is also a smoking area, plus parking outside!!! The animal species are a lot, so there is really fun!

Nice place to bring a family of mainly youngish children. Includes a petting area - well, it is an area where you can brush a pig and feed some goats!Exhibits of fish, snakes, monkeys were interesting and appeal to young children as they can see them close up. At the entrance of the Tiergarten there is a tunnel through water and fish swim all around. Exhibits are well explained, to be able to be spotted.There is a very small playground on site, but a larger one is in the same area, for up to 14year olds. Set in a peaceful garden landscape and allows plenty of space for roaming. In my day one was quiet when visiting an Aquarium, nowadays it seems somewhat more noisy, without any apparent respect for the creatures. Sad.

Worth for the money... different varity of fishes... beautiful peacocks and many more...

Fantastic value for your money. Only 5€ for adults. A great couple of hours can be spent here.

Good location in the city. Beautiful gardens, nice setup for the animals. Just a couple hours needed, so not overwhelming for little ones but still plenty to see.

Nice place for a few hours wisit with children. For a full day visit Id recommend to add Donaubad waterpark to the visit. The park by the river is a sight for it self with ok restaurants that offer basic German german food that goes well with beer.

Small but cute place. Especially good for kids. Can easily cover the entire place before the kids are tired. Live reptiles are the special attractions here.

Very well kept habitat for a variety of animals, reptiles and birds. The aquarium area is particularly marvellous. The entrance cost is just €5 per person.

Excellent small zoo. Quite a variety of animals - small monkeys, parrots, turtles and tortoises, a selection of snakes and exotic lizards as well as a huge range of aquariums with various tropical and cold water fish. Outside there are alpacas and goats for the kids to feed, pigs for them to brush, free roaming peacocks, Australian emus and kangaroos and a bear enclosure.The monkeys had large, high enclosures, set inside in a jungle atmosphere in the tropical house. Clean and well manicured woodchip pathways through the trees were lovely to walk on - especially as it was so cold outside! - and the monkeys were all in groups or pairs, not singles which always seems particularly sad at zoos.
