I read the glowing reviews and saw the photos and I was SO excited to try it for lunch! I went with two friends. They were out of over half the items on the menu. Not even their Liberian specials were available. No orange juice. No soda water, which limited preparation of several beverages. No white wine. No shrimp.One of my party ordered the chicken fried rice. He left over half of it uneaten, and declined to take the remainder home. I ordered grilled fish. It came with a mountain of tepid vegetables absolutely drowning in an oily mustard sauce. It was entirely inedible. The kelewele was well-prepared and we all liked it.The view is lovely. The toilets have both water and paper. The footing is uncertain in places, both going up the flights of stairs and on the deck. The waitress was indifferent at best. I would give it one more try, but only because of other strong reviews.

The view is awesome and the fact that Tides is in the heart of the city yet away from the noise makes it all the more splendid! Great place.

Nice and very peaceful. Food is great and inexpensive. Sells the best sea food in town

Located on the top floor of a building. Nice ocean view. Good food, in particular the fried or grilled fish with a a selection of side orders. The only real issue with Tides is that you have to wait for hours until the food arrives.
