Marvelous!! The food delicious and the staff very friendly! It is a must!
Ive never left a review for anything before, but I so enjoyed this experience that I felt compelled to say it publicly. Hands down, it was one of the loveliest lunch experiences Ive had. My son and I couldnt stop talking about how everything from the food, to the service, to the decor was a 10/10. I couldnt recommend this place any more highly.
MoreI had to go try it out myself, the reviews aren’t lying about its 5 star status. I was surprised that I could find a Thai cuisine as almost authentic as the real Thai food back home. The owner lady was extremely friendly and we had a great chat about the country of smiles. If I was in town again in the future I’m definitely visiting there again, no doubt about it. Can’t recommend enough, truly a taste of Thailand.
MoreReally authentic Thai food! Absolutely delicious and a great experience.
This was our first time at a Thai restaurant. We were not disappointed. Food was really good. At had sweet, spicy and tangy notes that hit the right spots. Good place to stop in Cornwall for all those Quebec trippers 😋
MoreNice atmosphere and great Thai food. Will be returning!
Thailands finest food right here In Corwall. the restaurant is so welcoming and cozy so artistic unique terrasse. waitresses make me feel at home the inside is so beautifull. food is #1 come eat stop looking
MoreService was very good, appetizers are yummy. The curry I ordered was a bit too heavy for me but not too bad.
MoreNice place to eat absolutly delicious various curry. Good service too.
Really good authentic food. Great welcoming atmosphere. Authentic decor. Highly recommend.
MoreGreat food, atmosphere, and live music (sometimes)! I recommend adding pineapple to your red curry - adds the perfect amount of sweetness to balance out the spice. Lots of options and helpful staff. Singha on tap tastes a bit weak, go for the 5 star Thai iced tea instead! Good portion sizes left us too full for dessert. We liked it so much we returned the next day to try something else.
MoreHad high expectation due to other extremely positive reviews. In my opinion.. they serve decent thai meal, i think the dishes have been adjusted to western palate.Great service/waitress, indoor dining area is air conditioned, and they have clean bathroom & ample free parking space.
MoreA unique restaurant in that it immerses visitors in Thai culture and feeds them with authentic Thai cuisine. You cant just go once. You need to go back and try a different dish and enjoy everything they have on the menu.
MoreGreat Thai food, great service, nice atmosphere, well priced! This is a go to! Flavours and presentation are wonderful, every plate is a unique blend of tastes and colours. Satays are a great starter. The crispy duck is cooked perfectly and served with coconut rice …so good! Shrimp with noodles and Thai chilies is some of the best! There’s even a red curry seafood served in a coconut shell…just awesome!
MoreBrilliant food with good take out, fresh ingredients and a price that is right on the money. Friendly staff and good service too. And somehow its cheaper than Thai Express now so I dont see a reason to hold back.
MoreIt had been a few years since my last visit but I was not disappointed. The lunch combo special was delicious and more than filling. I still highly recommend this restaurant.
MoreAmazing little gem, a great Thai experience, will make the stop again when transiting to and from Montreal!
MoreI’ve experienced Thai food all over the country and this rates with the very best. A large menus with huge variety, good portions, super-fresh, and prepared masterfully with great presentation. Atmosphere is authentic decor and relaxed. Staff are wonderful!
MoreReally great service, food and atmosphere! Its run by Thai locals so the food is authentic and done right.
MoreThis has to be my absolute favorite restaurant in cornwall!Extremely tasty meals and for the most part they are all really good sizes. And the prices are very fair for the quality of food and how much you are getting. The staff are always extremely kind and make it a very smooth, relaxing and delicious experience.I have been many times and I HIGHLY recommend to try the Pinnaple meal. It features shrimp, pinaple rice, cashews and other fun things all served in a scooped out pineapple!
MoreExcellent food and friendly service, including vegetarian options and a lovely outdoor seating area.
MoreVery excited to have found this amazing Thai restaurant! I was about to give up finding an authentic Asian restaurant anywhere in Cornwall coz wow so many blah restaurants here in terms of variety and real flavor . not sure how I missed Thums before, def regret not finding it much sooner coz shes the one.authentic spicy insanely flavourful Asian food. Im super impressed! Perfectly seasoned, so fragrant and nice kick. I love it (east Indian hereso this is what Ive been searching for.And when you see a chilli next to menu item, this is gonna be a legit Thai spicy dish! And its *the bomb*. Havent been able to say that about any of the other 20 some places weve tried in this town.Ordered 54 pad- mea kow w/ chicken, 37 Green curry w/ chicken, Thai sticky coconut rice and vegetable spring rolls. All of it was top notch fine dining quality. Free delivery over 30$ so all together cost 48.50 plus tip. Huge portions that could easily feed 4 people.Try it, you wont regret it!!
MoreFantastic food at very fair prices. The service was great and we received our meals quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious! Wish I lived closer so I could go more often! (Passing through on a road trip)
MoreGreat Place for Cornwall. Did not leave hungry. Had the Beef Pad Thai, which was wonderful however on the sweet side. Vegetable Spring Roll was golden and crispy. Thom Yung soup was delicious. Will be back.
MoreWow!!!Cant say one thing bad about this place. Excellent quality and really authentic Thai food flavours, great serving size, very prompt and courteous service, lovely ambience! Every single dish we ordered was amazing!Must try their new Salmon with Tamarind sauce, green curry, and pad thai with tofu ! The Thai sticky rice had an authentic coconutty flavour and was an excellent pairing with boh the salmon and the green curry. We finished off with their deep fried ice cream that had a crispy crust that encased a big ball of vanilla ice cream! In a nut shell whether youre local or making a stop enroute your trip between Ontario and Quebec - This is a great stop over for a scrumnption meal. The only word of caution would be! Be careful driving after the hearty meal! And dont doze off at the wheel!
MoreExcellent Thai Cuisine👏👊🥇
Tasty dinner and authentic flavors. Service was polite and friendly, allbeit a little slow. Ate on the patio, which was cosy, but traffic was a bit noisy.
MoreReally delicious food - had #29 which was seafood with broccoli. Ended dinner with deep fried bananas.
MoreReally great place for Thai food in cornwall. Theyre catering to the local population and was lacking spicy but overall very impressed!
MoreA little gem! We were on the road and stopped by for dinner at this best rated restaurant in Cornwall. What a pleasant surprise! Never thought we could find such tasty and authentic Thai food in Cornwall! The Thai ladies serving are all very friendly, made the dining experience even more enjoyable! We didn’t even take pictures of the food because we couldn’t wait to dive in :p
MoreWe were there a couple months ago around 12pm for a to go.Friendly staff but terrible food.Thai coconut rice was a rock. Mean courses watery and no flavour at all. When we arrived home ( 10 minutes away food was cold.To many mistakes in just one orderWe won’t be back
MoreFirst time eating here.Great atmosphere friendly staff.Prices are great. Beer is cold.Highly recommended 5 star.
MoreStopped by here on my way out of Montreal. Didnt have high expectations as it was tucked away in a quiet town. But was I in for a surprise! The thai red (and greencurry and rice were all superb! Their mango sticky rice was outstanding as well. Would definitely stop by here again when on this road again.
MoreI like this place. It was my 3rd times. Probably the best Asian restaurant in town, if you like Thai. The waitresses are dressed in traditional dress and very attended. The service was pretty fast. Decor is getting old and my plate was good but not great. It is not an expensive restaurant so it is not as bad. Overall it was good and would go back and recommend this place for people that appreciate this type of cuisine.
MoreI definitely recommend Thum’s Kitchen! Not only do they have excellent and authentic Thai cuisine, many of their menu items can be made gluten-free which is especially important for me as I have Celiac Disease. I called ahead to make sure my dietary restriction could be accommodated and was happy to hear that it could be. It was the first time I’ve been able to have Pad Thai since being diagnosed 2 years ago. I will definitely return to try out other menu items! Thank you for providing me with delicious food that was safe for me to eat!!
MoreEverything tastes really good and looks great as well.
Always great food and service. Very authentic.I always stop here everytime I drive through Cornwall. A must try.
MoreBest Thai food I ever had. So full of flavour recommend #25 it didnt last long enough for a picture.
MoreThere are only a handful of restaurants in this area that achieve the level of those you might find in Montreal (or possibly Ottawa)-- the kind of restaurant you would take out-of-town guests to or celebrate a special occasion at-- and Thums Kitchen is one of them. The warm, exotic decor sets the mood immediately as you enter, and you know youre in for a memorable dining experience. The lovely waitresses are friendly, attentive, and elegantly-attired, making you feel like royalty. The menu is extensive and varied, and helpfully includes photos of many of the items. You can choose from spicy Thai classics to milder entrees that are sure to appeal to anyones taste. I highly recommend starting your meal with their "Thoong Thong" chicken spring roll wrap appetizer, served with a tangy sweet and sour sauce. And dont forget to save room for dessert, because Thums offers some delicious options (I love the deep-fried banana spring rolls with ice cream!). Thums owner is a classically-trained top chef from the tony restaurants of cosmopolitan Bangkok, and his culinary expertise is apparent in every dish. When you finish your meal, you too, like the Thais, will exclaim "aroi mak mak!" and vow to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
MoreVery delicious. Enjoyed, Nice staff
Sooo delicious!! Very flavourful and fresh and hot food. Didn’t even get a chance to take a snap photo of the chicken satay sticks before they were eaten up 🤣
MoreExquisite food, amazing ambiance and better service especially during Covid. All protocols made it feel safe to dine in. Highly recommend the “Drunkard Fish” , fried rice and duck curry. Took a Thai iced tea to go. 100% need to stop here if you’re near Cornwall.
MoreVery surprised to find such a good Thai restaurant in this region. The green curry and rice paper rolls are especially delicious. Friendly and attentive service.
MoreThe food is okay but it should have been more spicy and hot to be authentic Thai food. The staff is nice and friendly. Not too pricy. Adequate seating areas with both tables and booths. Nice area outside with wooden chairs. Nice indoor decoration.
MoreIf I’m in or passing by Cornwall...I have my Rule of Thum’s to always stop for a meal.Always delicious with friendly service.I had the Red Curry Shrimp which was served with Broccoli. Yummy!Stop by and taste the difference.
MoreSome of the best Thai food I’ve had, definitely a hidden gem in Cornwall. They do a great chicken satay and the pad thai is my favourite. I’ve also got take out and their portions are generous and the food is the same quality you get if you dine in. Would definitely recommend!
MoreOne of the best Thai restaurants Ive been to. The servers were friendly, accommodating and it wasnt too busy during lunch on a Saturday. Music was not too loud and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The Sweet and Sour Soup was amazing.. we were wishing for more of it. You also get a spring roll as an appetizer with the item we picked (S1). For the main course, my wife and I got the S1 - Lunch Special. We found it delicious and very filling. The coconut broth was definitely filling. My wife had to take some back with her while I pressed in and had it all. :)As for parking, if it was not enough, you could park next to the Greek Restaurant Philos parking as well.
MoreAlways enjoy coming here to eat whether its just another night or or for a special occasion. A great selection of amazing Thai food with something for everyone. On this visit I decided to start off with the Thoong Thong which is a pork spring roll wraps in their traditional Thai style, with sweet and sour sauce. A great started for 1-2 people. Next my go to meal here is the Hor Mok Talay with an order of Thai Coconut Stick Rice to go with it. This dish combines my 3 favourite things: Curry, Seafood, and Coconut. It is steamed Red Curry mixed with seafood, like shrimp, squid, and mussels to name a few, all stuffed into a coconut container. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable about what is used in their recipes for people with allergy concerns. A must go to place if you want a great experience!
MoreAmazing service friendly inviting atmosphere. Very peaceful. Great experience all around. Makes me want to move to Thailand and set up camp.I definitely recommend this for an authentic Thai cuisine to everyone. The decor is beautiful its absolutely amazing no joke. You have to eat here!
MoreIm from BC, I used to live in Alexandria. Everytime I come back to visit I always come back here as pad Thai is my favourite! This restaurant will not disappoint in terms of food or service. Highly recommend
